On arriving at Plas Lodge I was pleased with the accommodation.
But I found that the general cleaning was some what lacking with dead flies on the window sills and dust on the skirting boards, cobwebs where the books are located and in the corners of bedrooms. It doesn’t take long to just do a deeper clean in my opinion. The property is advertised with a BBQ which we were looking forward to, unfortunately this was full of rust and generally not very clean so we were unable to use. The beds are reasonable comfortable if you like hard mattresses, all in all we enjoyed out stay at Plas Lodge, but just feel that the cleaning, lack of BBQ needs to be looked at. Great peaceful location though if you don’t want to be in the centre of Rhosneigr.
Plas Lodge is situated at the entrance of a caravan park.
The caravan park is quiet and is very well maintained as is the area around the lodge. Plas Lodge is comfortable, with heating and hot water and the beds, although they have firm mattresses they're comfortable. Our only concern when staying was, the weather wasn't too good a day or two before we left and the windows in the King size bedroom and the ensuite were very, very drafty. Other than that the lodge is lovely.
