  • "We were very disappointed with the lack of kitchen utensils."

We were a family if 4 adults - the small number of pans for 1 was insufficient. 1 very large stock pot and 1 medium and tiny pan we struggled with. Also basic things like a gravy jug and a potato masher were missing. We had to go out and buy one. Also no oven trays as such apart from the grilloan The lights on the main living area were too much, the 1 lamp provided was poor and Also limited as it was on the window sill On the plus side, the bath and shower were excellent. And the games room was a hit On the cleanliness side, there was dust on the skirting boards in all rooms.

Hi Mrs Bell , I’m very sorry to hear about your negative experience as we pride ourselves on being somewhere families can come and make joyful memories. I appreciate you letting me know that the potato masher & jug have gone walk about and would have been more than happy if contacted to sort anything extra you needed but unfortunately didn’t get that opportunity. On peeking in there today there are a set five pans & 3 frying pans along with the large stock pot you mentioned however no extra oven trays apart from the large ones within the oven itself . We do cater for up to Ten guests so the kitchen is very well equipped but I will certainly get some extra trays and new masher/ Jug. The lamp could be moved any you like and there are also hallway lights and light from the top floor (games room) which can always be used instead of the living room. We also pride ourselves on cleanliness and have perfect crisp white bedding , a stunning bathroom and kitchen and as I’m sure you saw a truly beautiful apartment. So again I can only apologise about the dust on the skirtings as on reading your review these details sound like they truly impacted your stay. My number is always given to every guest and at least two messages are sent through Sykes where I message every guest and i can be contacted by any guest - I would have loved to rectify these issues for you on your stay had I been contacted as on booking.com and bedandbreakfast we have 10/10 exceptional reviews and our guestbook of over 25 reviews showing how much loved the apartment has been for others, so I feel somewhat saddened by this as our guests leaving unhappy isn’t something we aim for. If there’s anything further I can do please don’t hesitate to contact me. Property Owner

  • "We loved this quirky holiday home with its boutique style furnishings."

Two giant sofas (one each!) and a super king bed ensured comfort day and night in a warm and inviting apartment. The kitchen is well equipped and we found the little breakfast bar handy but also used the dining table - for food and my holiday crafting. The plentiful hot water and roomy shower were very welcome after days out. We usually stay out in the country but really enjoyed the convenience of being in a small town with shops and cafes outside the door. Llanrwst provided lovely river walks and is within half to three quarters of an hour of many of North Wales' most popular attractions eg Bodnant gardens, Plas Mawr and Conway castle and walks in Eryri or around the coast . We found the (partly spiral) stairs a bit daunting on day one with our baggage but it was not otherwise a problem and it proved good practice for climbing castle towers!

Thank You so much for lovely review ☺️ Property Owner
