  • "Stunning cottage with modern decor in an idyllic location!"

This accommodation exceeded all expectations for us…the property is situated on a hill overlooking the valleys and sea. Peaceful and secluded, but not too far from the local village and beach. Plenty of room outside the property for the children to run around without being near a busy road. Top notch facilities and well equipped kitchen with a fantastic oven and large American fridge. The Smart TV and comfortable sofa came in useful for rainy evenings! Lots of nice little touches around the property too - the hosts have gone above and beyond for their guests. Paul was brilliant and very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely be returning, 3 days wasn’t long enough!

  • "We have just finished a weeks glorious holiday in Pennant Cottage, I can say this was one of the top cottages we have stayed in over the years."

The cottage is extremally comfortable & sitting in the lounge/conservatory of an evening we didn't feel the need to put on the Giant Tv - just watch the sheep or sky :) The kitchen is well laid out with a large range and American style fridge/freezer - everything you need. The bedrooms were excellent with the added luxury touches & top quality linen. The grounds are lovely and you are well back from the road, with the company of 2 well behaved sheep who wander around, plenty of birds and animals in the vicinity, we even saw some newts and a grass snake in the small pond. The cottage is well located, with plenty of good walks, I would recommend the 3 peaks of Eifl walk & a visit to the Welsh Language Centre, the walk down to Pistyll beach is well worth it once you find the path ;) Nefyn is really good and has a couple of shops and a nice indian, a nice cafe/bakery by the beach and the beach is lovely What more can I say - apart from we'll be back

Thank you so much Kevin for your comments hope you will be back again one day ❤️ Property Owner

About the location

  • Nefyn 4 miles
  • Abersoch 12 miles

The small village of Llithfaen is one of the highest villages on the Llyn Peninsula, enjoying some of the best views around due to its location on the slopes of the Yr Eifl mountain range. The village boasts its own community-run village shop and local pub, which was established in 1988 and offers a friendly welcome. Llithfaen is very proud of its Welsh heritage with the Welsh Language and Heritage Centre and restaurant located just up the road at Nant Gwrtheyrn, which also has a pebble beach. The pretty coastal town of Nefyn lies 4 miles away, sitting atop sweeping cliffs, and is home to a fine, two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families, along with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The village is also within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch and Caernarfon. In nearby Porth Dinllaen is the Ty Coch pub, voted 3rd best 'beach bar' in the world in an online feature in June 2013. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks.
