  • "We had a lovely stay at Ty Haf."

The house is well equipped, very clean, comfortable and set in a quiet spot. Just a couple of little niggles - the sofas in the sun room were very low and we had trouble getting on and off them which is a shame as it's such a light and airy room and the side wall outside was quite low so we couldn't let the dog out on his own in case he escaped. The house is well situated for all the attractions of Trearddur, our favourite place on the island. Overall a very pleasant stay and many thanks to Gwen for letting us book at such short notice.

So glad you enjoyed. Yes , I’m aiming to raise or replace back room sofa to suit everyone’s needs . Hope you will visit again . Property Owner

  • "Excellent house in Trearddur Bay."

It was a late booking for a few days away. House was perfectly described and very comfortable. Everything you would want from facilities and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend.

So so glad you enjoyed your holiday at Ty Haf . You are welcome back anytime . Property Owner

Glad you thought the property was great as Ty Haf was a secondary option from Sykes unable to deliver your first one. I really appreciated the wine and chocolates you left ! See you again . Property Owner

We didn’t spend much time there but had everything we needed & was clean. We all commented how comfy the beds were too. Owner was great, even getting back to me whilst on holiday, thanks so much. We would definitely stay here again ☺️

  • "We had a fabulous week at Ty Haf."

We quickly settled in to the house, especially the large and oh so comfy sofas. The kitchen diner was of a good size and we lacked for nothing with the kitchen utensils. We rarely used the rear conservatory which was lovely, but opted for the sofas in the front room. The bedrooms were a good size with comfy beds and it was so nice to have a bath. In summary a superb holiday home in a very popular seaside resort. Thank you.

This makes me so happy . Ty Haf is special to us as a family and truly enjoy other families gaining quality time in Trearddur’s Bay too . Diolch Property Owner

  • "Enjoyed our stay at Ty Haf."

Property is generally well equipped although the can opener could do with being upgraded. Snug sun room is a positive feature - despite the low sofa being a challenge to get up from if you have hip or knee mobility issues - compact back patio is a welcome sun trap. Bathroom has been modernised and provides the the option of both an efficient walk-in shower or bath with shower head available. Especially useful if you have children! Furniture is dated & living room dark but as we didn’t spend any time in it not a major issue for us. Visitors information needs updating as some of the recommended eating venues are no longer trading but generally helpful in providing trip options. Felt at home here & well worth considering staying here for families/ friends with or without children and dogs. If you have mobility issues it is a relatively steep hill to the beach and amenities.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully you will stay at Ty Haf again. Information has recently been updated, Chinese has recently turned into an Indian , I believe that is the only venue that has changed ? Hope I’m correct. Will note getting leg raisers for one sofa. Just to note as ‘steep hill’ can sound misleading , it’s an incline for 10-12 meters. Thank you . Property Owner

Owner was very responsive to queries. Some info in property folder needs updating, but not a problem. Would be happy to stay here again.

  • "Dirty kitchen which we just dealt with as didn’t want to seem petty."

Left the house as we found it. A week later Sykes/owners alleged we had left stains on the carpet which was untrue. Sykes notified us and immediately deducted money from our bank account despite us disputing the allegation and raising an issue as to the delay. I felt double aggrieved due to the dirty kitchen but when I raised that they said I didn’t raise it at the time. The same rules clearly don’t apply to owners. They took no action about the dirty kitchen and simply ignored my messages. I waited before posting this as I wanted to give them a chance to respond but they clearly don’t intend to. Very poor service. Shame as the property is in a wonderful location. Wouldn’t use or recommend again.

No notification of dirty kitchen, where was this message sent too, any photos would be great , what exactly was dirty ? I do hope Sykes showed you photos of stains as the carpet was newly cleaned for summer season . £30 cleaning charge was fair as some properties would have charged full carpet clean. They looked like pet stains and dirty boot marks so had to be addressed. Always aim to provide a warm and welcoming stay and apologise if you didn’t feel this , 5 star rating from all previous customers. Shame you didn’t message me direct , I’d already messaged you regarding storm and fallen aerial, no mention on fast service on how I managed to source an aerial fitter within 24hrs in time for your stay. Easy to find. Lovely home. Pictures don't do it justice. Larger than it looks. Beds comfy. Sofa might not be modern but it's beautifully comfortable. Adequate parking. Yard good for dogs. Easy clean up behind them. Perfect stay.

Thank you ever so much for the review . I know what you mean with the sofa , they don’t make them like they used to! Aiming to source a new comfy sofa ! Property Owner
