Peaceful and quiet, had a relaxing time.

The only downside, and this is personal preference, was we found the couches to be a bit lower than we found comfortable but they were clean and in good condition so that’s probably age related as we are both a bit past middle aged. The only time there was any noise was when RAF Valley were using the runway pointing towards Holyhead but that was daytime only. Definitely recommend for a peaceful time.

Lovely house in a great location on the edge of some beautiful scenery

The property was clean and had lots of nice extra touches, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you required.

The location made an excellent base for walking and for travelling around the island. We are looking forward for another visit in the future

Amazing house really big lots of amenities, lovely enclosed gardens kept the grandchildren and our dog safe, everything was so comfortable could live there was fantastic definitely 5*

Spotlessly clean comfortable house . Just five minutes walk to the breakwater park or the marina . Well kept modern home with everything you could need . Small fenced of garden at the rear so great for any dogs. Its bigger on the inside with a well thought out interior. We had a lovely time.

Swn Y Nant is a perfect little bolthole in a very quiet part of Holyhead.

It is a relatively modern semi detached house, it’s compact but perfect for two or three but possibly not for more, unless it’s three children. Bunk beds aren’t for everyone. This is our second stay, it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It’s perfectly situated for Trearddur Bay, Porth Defarc and the town of Holyhead itself. Major supermarkets are close by and there are some wonderful walks close-by too. Swn Y Nant is warm, cosy, with all you need to enjoy time on the beautiful island of Anglesey.

Cracking property!

Clean, spacious and very quiet. Neighbours were friendly and pleasant too. Loved the location for the many walks we had with the dog, from the country park, along breakwater and down to south stack lighthouse. Such a stunning part of the world. Would recommend staying here ❤️

Wonderful holiday home.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could need for a relaxing break . Close to several lovely walks . Very quiet area . We had a fantastic time.

The location was perfect for us as there were plenty of footpaths from the house, which saved us from having to drive out every time.

Also the house was exceptionally clean, ( best one yet ). Anglesey is such a lovely place to explore with lots of interesting things to see. Some lovely beaches and footpaths. Although everywhere is within a short drive, we didn't have time to visit all the places we had planned. So we will definitely have to go back.

Gorgeous house!

Clean everywhere except for the kitchen, unfortunately this was a big thing for me as I had 2 little dogs and didn’t go out much for food as I bought everything I needed with me. I didn’t feel the cutlery was clean enough or the other kitchen utensils so I had to clean them every time I used something. For the first few days I was cleaning the kitchen, the day of arrival I was cleaning the freezer as someone had turned it off whilst an ice tray was in there and water went everywhere. The rest of the house was lovely but the kitchen to me is the most important especially when I had planned to cook.

Perfect clean!

This is a perfect little bolthole, ideally located for the small family unit.

It was very clean and had everything one needed for a break away from home. We would recommend it to anyone.

Very comfortable home, we stayed as a couple, although the house would suit a small family.

Easy access to all amenities as house is a 15 minute walk from the town centre and gives you very easy access to Mountain and South Stack. Treaddur Bay is around 4miles away and this is a nice walk. Cost path is also close by, great area to explore the area from. During our trip we drove 20 minutes to Llanberis and went up Snowdon.

Lovely property.

Extremely clean and well presented. We were confused with the bins as when we looked online, the tin recycling bin should be a blue box, which there wasn't at the property. We used the Tesco recycling centre in the end. Only criticisms I would have is that there's no shaver socket in the bathroom (needed to charge our electric toothbrushes) and that we were very hot with the thick quilt on such a soft bed. However, the fact there was such great facilities such as a washing machine and dishwasher was amazing. Overall, we were extremely happy and would love to return back!

The property was perfect in every way.

It was very clean and tastefully furnished. Had everything you could possibly need. Garden was perfect for us and our dog (very secure.) Very comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. We will definitely book again when we next visit Anglesey.

Everything you needed was there it was like being at home. Owners were very informative. Would highly recommend for a base to see Anglesey. We enjoyed:- Sea Kayaking, South Stack Puffing sightings, Langdon's for excellent meal and cycling along NCR5 to Bangor.

The property was clean, well presented and had everything we needed. It was nicely furnished and comfortable, without feeling either cluttered or clinical. We very much enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

Everything is to a high standard. Owners lovely and quick to answer questions. Definitely coming to stay here again in the future. Child friendly property which is a big bonus for us. Daughter loved the bunk beds. Close to all amenities and a brilliant new playground at Breakwater. Excellent base to explore the Island from.

The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could need. It is situated in a lovely quite street, within 2 minutes drive from the centre of town. The house is furnished and decorated beautifully, it really is a lovely home.

Comfy bed & fluffy towels too! (being picky, curtains & a bathmat only 2 suggestions for improvement). Really good secure garden for dogs. Parking. Great location for walks. Breakwater Country Park (which we loved) right on your doorstep so no need to drive every day, but if you do, lovely little beaches 10-15mins away. Holyhead itself a little tired & rundown, limited ale selection in pubs (if thats your thing), but a couple of nice little cafés & plenty of supermarkets nearby if needed. Def recommend!

Perfect get away. Could maybe add curtains in bedrooms as the light comes in around 5am and the white blinds don’t have much effect.

Really lovely house, very comfortable and well equipped.

Loved the complimentary local honey and all the beautiful bee decor! Great location as outside town, but only a few minutes walk in to Holyhead and to local walks around coast, upto the Mountain, harbourside, Breakwater Park etc. Only a short drive to other parts of Anglesey eg Penrhos Coastal Park, South Stack, Trearddur and found a lovely dog friendly pub at Rhoscolyn (White Eagle)... plus local supermarkets for supplies at nearby retail park. Only things that we thought would improve is a couple of plants to break up the square functional garden (which was great for the dog)... and hooks on bathroom/bedroom doors for robes/towels... and towel rail in cloakroom. One of the best properties we have stayed in (and there have been many) would definitely book again if opportunity arises as 5 nights wasn't long enough!

House was as listed and extremely clean!

The only slight negative from us is that there was no tin opener in the kitchen (very very minor!)

This is a wonderful property, so modern and clean and smart.

It was delight to stay. The view of Holyhead Mountain is lovely. The property is much further out of the town than we expected from the listing, with just a small local shop in walking distance, but this turned out to be a good thing as it was in a much more pleasant setting, than Holyhead itself which felt quite run down and dour. Asda was just a 5 minute drive and the property proved an ideal and very comfortable base from which to explore the rest of Anglesey. We happily recommend it.

The property was amazing we had a fabulous stay the only suggestions we had was a larger shower screen would be good and the fitted sheet on the double bed had lost its elasticity so came off most nights but those are very minor points and did not take away from the amazing experience we had.

This is a lovely property and we very much enjoyed our stay.

It’s very well equipped and although in the middle of a housing scheme, it’s a quiet location. In the spirt of improvement this property would benefit from an information pack/visitor comments book. We’ve found these to be really informative about the local area and it’s also a good way to pick up recommendations for days out/places to eat from previous visitors. Also a clothes airer would also be a handy addition. Appreciated the coat pegs in the entrance porch, but these are not idea for really wet jackets. Thanks

Modern, comfortable house in the quiet outskirts of Holyhead.

Lovely walks from the house and much to see nearby. We very much appreciated the delicious honey left for us by the owners. Brilliant holiday, thank you. Just a couple of suggestions for ‘improvement’. A few guidelines such as when to put out the bins would have been useful. Also, we find visitors books helpful as they give tips on places to visit. Oh, finally, a corkscrew would have been appreciated.

Overall the property was of a very high standard.

The cottage was very well provisioned and perfect for our stay.

All mod cons there and very well positioned for where we wanted to go. We had loo roll and cleaning products which was great and not a criticism but it would have been lovely to have had a pint of milk on arrival, as we took over 9 hours to get to property and a cup of tea was much needed! Also some more info about walks and restaurants etc would have been helpful. The sat navigation could not find property. Highly Craft Talker is the what3words location. The lower road Lon Cae Serri we found on sat navigation and you just need to get to the end of that road and turn right and right again. Might be helpful to include these directions in booking details. Loved the honey, a nice touch. Enjoyed our stay thanks

Great new type property in perfect location to explore the surrounding area.

House is lovely with everything you need. Property is 20min walk to the coast and the breakwater or country park on scenic paths. The park leads to the Mountain which offers great coastal walks and views around to the North and South Stacks. Highly recommended.

Not stayed in such a new well maintained property .

Great for out 2 little dogs. All fixtures and fittings were top notch . The owner was great and left us some of his own made Honey . Most of Agelsea can be reached within 30 mins drive in any direction . And at night time it was nice to relax in the fantastic living room . A great nature park and cliff side walk within 20 mins walk . The seafront is a 20 min steady flat walk away .

Great base , spotless and with everything you need for a week away.

Really nice location for a morning walk along the coast or up the mountain . Loads of great day trips within 20 - 30 minutes .
