Resting on the western side of the River Clwyd is the charming North Wales village of Kinmel Bay. Lying opposite the bustling resort of Rhyl, Kinmel Bay makes a wonderful holiday location and attracts plenty of serious watersports enthusiasts with popularity especially in canoeing and windsurfing. The Kinmel Dunes Nature Reserve is home to a small sand dune system with lots of native wildlife and plants, with seals sometimes spotted close to the shore, you can enjoy lovely walks along paths leading through the dunes, before continuing along the North Wales Path. The village is home to a supermarket, several shops, two pubs and some restaurants, while Rhyl is just a stone's throw away. Discover SC2 Rhyl waterpark, Rhyl Golf Club and the gorgeous Rhyl Beach.
