Accommodation was fantastic, no complaints. There was plenty of space for the four of us and the view out of the two big windows was great. Comfy beds, good powerful shower & everywhere was very clean & well maintained. We had a wonderful stay & will definitely be back.

  • "We (4 adults and 1 child) spent 6 nights during the autumn half term at this cozy holiday property and loved it."

The view at the lounge room was stunning and the dining/kitchen/lounge area was spacious. We enjoyed lots of sunshine in the lounge area in the afternoon. The property provided all we needed and was tidy. We were very happy with the heating and shower, too. My daughter particuarly loved the play area next to the property. The property is at a convenient location for major attactions in Snowdonia--the entrance to the village is next to A499.

And that speaks volumes. This was our second visit & the place doesn't cease to enchant. Such a comfy home to return to after busy days out. The local pub is just over 5 mins walk away ( not 1.7 miles as suggested on the Sykes website ) And if you're a Welsh learner like myself, you'll have plenty of opportunity to chat to the locals in ' iaith yr nefoedd '.Great base for local walks including the Welsh Coastal Path which passes down the road & Lon Eifion. A Good regular bus service too ( from the village & Glynllifon gates) Diolch i Donna & John. Gwyliau bendigedig!

Owner very friendly. The kids had so much fun, the outdoor space for them to run around. And the access to the toys was great. My only niggle was the welcome basket on arrival, 4 pancakes for a family of 5 and lots of coffee pods, it only a small thing.

Thank you so much. The house was very well presented and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and the children loved playing in the garden. The peace and quiet was bliss and the sunsets were incredible. The house was very well equipped. Having a washing machine and separate freezer was very useful. A bigger clothes airer and a cafetiere would have been useful but not major at all. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return. Maybe even next year!

  • "Fabulous property, ideally located for exploring North Wales."

We felt at home right away. The property was exactly as described, very clean and very comfy with beautiful views. Parking was good. Suggest that soap is provided (it wasn’t) and it would have been useful - given the weather - to have a clothes horse provided to dry clothes. But no complaints - it was wonderful!! Also highly recommend the village community pub, but check when it’s open before going.

Really spacious, well-equipped, lovely furnishings, modern but homely with lovely views over fields. Great outdoor playground for children. Set on the edge of a quiet village with beach only a few mins away which has a basic shop and fish and chips. Went to nearby Caernarfon for the castle, shops and can definitely recommend the Greek and Italian restaurants. Within easy drive of Snowdonia where we climbed most days. Drove to pretty Criccieth to start the coastal path walk. Strongly recommend stunning Bodnant Gardens (National Trust at Colwyn Bay) with its garden centre and separate very large craft shop for handmade gifts. The hayloft is a great base.

  • "What a brilliant cottage!"

Quiet and comfortable, but within short driving distance of the beach, and easy to get further afield too. There was plenty of space, everything was well-stocked, and the upstairs bedroom's black-out blinds were a godsend for getting our baby daughter to sleep. We visited during extremely hot weather, and were a little worried about how warm it might be, but opening the upstairs windows allowed a nice breeze to keep upstairs cool, and keeping the blinds low downstairs likewise saved us from baking. We'll definitely return in future!

It is very spacious, aesthetically furnished and decorated, and had everything we needed. The large windows provided lovely garden views which we enjoyed every evening, full of flowers in bloom. The location is great, as it is secluded and so peaceful and tranquil, but also in quite close proximity to the sea and various national park walking routes. We enjoyed going on lots of nature-filled walks, and we managed to catch some sun on a beach. In addition, we went up and then down Snowdon, which was a great experience with breath-taking views. Thank you very much for a lovely stay. Kind regards, Dorota, Waldek, Grace and Oscar

  • "Just returned from a fabulous weekend here."

Firstly the photos do not do it justice! The cottage is set in the countryside with gorgeous outdoor spaces to relax in. There is new patio furniture, a small walled garden with slate stepping stones, an orchard area, and a fantastic play area for the kids which included swings, climbing frame, basket ball, football, and much more. The mud kitchen especially was a huge hit with out 4 year old who spent hours playing with it. The cottage itself is gorgeous! Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with every amenity you would expect (towels, WiFi, cooking equipment) and so much more (batteries, pens, flame less candles, board games, a port Meirion tea set) The lovely owners left us a welcome hamper with tea, coffee pods for the tassimo, and local produce which was a lovely touch! There is a large bedroom downstairs and a triple bedroom upstairs in the eaves which the kids loved! The piece de resistance was the art studio outbuilding which was stocked with paper, pens, paints and crafty bits. The kids spent hours in there painting rocks, colouring pictures and getting messy. We were struck by how much thought the owners had put into the place, and the attention to details was fantastic. There is so much to do in the surrounding area, we went to Caernarfon castle, capel curig Dinas dinlle beach and betws y coed. We can not wait to return! Thanks for a lovely break!

It was spacious, with comfy beds, a good shower and new patio furniture. The location is so peaceful and the view was great to get up to every morning. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed and the washing machine and freezer in the downstairs loo were very handy. The patio was a perfect sun-trap, sheltered from the cool April wind. A couple of small improvement suggestions would be to add a mirror in the downstairs bedroom and provide a wire brush and separate dustpan and brush to clean the BBQ.
