Afallon

Just come home from our 3rd stay at Afallon.

I feel anywhere else would not be up to the same standards this place. It’s so peaceful,comfortable and clean. You have beaches 10-20 minutes away in every direction. There is a little Morrisons daily at the end of the road and now just a few feet further than that is a new convenience store called Bugens which opened just 2 weeks ago. Can’t wait for next years visits.

Beautiful property everything you need is there great communication from the owners nothing any trouble very central to lots of places would definitely book again

We had a wonderful family stay with our older parents and teenage son.

The accommodation was very accessible for limited mobility, making everyone feel safe and comfortable. The highlight for our teen was the fantastic pool table, which kept him busy for hours. We could not have asked for a better spot. We would love to come back!

We had a lovely ten days at Afallon everything you need and more.

The Garden was lovely for our two dogs and my husband and son loved the pool table which was an added bonus. The Shop, Chip Shop and pub The Bull were all in walking distance, the only thing I will say on the details it says the beach is only 1 mile from the property which it is not more like 5 miles. All in all we had a brilliant time and would not hesitate to return.

Afallon was by a margin the best appointed Sykes house we have rented and we have using Sykes for over 10 years !

Afallon was a real home from home. The owners had thought of everything, that could possibly be needed. The rooms were beautifully decorated that were also individual. The kitchen diner was the crowning glory. The huge fully opening doors to the garden set it off. We especially liked the History of Afallon book ; this showed the journey made by the owners. You could sense a pride in their holiday home and rightly too. 3 bathrooms! 2 ensuite with a family bathroom. The downstairs was all accessable. We loved the games room with the pool table. Thank you we had a blast during the hottest week on record June 2026

Beautiful place and the best place for us

Afellon was perfect ,it was a lovely property, well maintained, the owners have got it right everything you could need was there.

Our week spent there was a joy.

This was our 2nd stay here and have a 3rd booked for August.

This place is beautiful & so peaceful. The house is amazing with everything you could need and more. Well equipped kitchen with picnic stuff and barbecue stuff already there. There is even a little nik nak drawer with things like spare phone chargers and batteries and not to mention birthday decorations just in case. The games room has a multitude of board games aswell as a full size pool table and plug in games for the tv. There are paint markers and colouring stuff for the kids and bookshelves that’s more like a full on library. There are stacks of days out and things to do leaflets so you can plan your days. The place is spotless and couldn’t fault a thing. The beds are so comfy and the bathrooms are beautiful. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for an amazing stay.

I don't think the photos do this place justice!

It is a very spacious and comfortable cottage. The layout is really good - two large bedrooms downstairs (one with en suite next to the lounge and one next to a bathroom). One bedroom with en suite upstairs which my mum loved! When I say everything was provided I mean *everything*. I bought cleaning products, hand-wash, condiments and foil etc with me. It was all there waiting when I arrived plus milk, coffee, tea and biscuits. The garden is lovely and peaceful and completely enclosed. There is an area where part of the wall is lower but it goes into the garden next door which looks to be fully enclosed also. We took a Shih Tzu and there were no issues whatsoever - she loved the garden! Great selection of books and games. A pool table and a retro computer console! The owner sent a message to confirm the key collection details and to offer support - he was so incredibly lovely and cared a lot. The property is heated by central heating and a log fire in the lounge. We didn't use the fire in the lounge as the central heating was more than enough. There are shops, pubs and takeaways nearby. Stone and wooden/tiled floors. All bedding, towels and soft furnishings spotless. We will be back!

This has been the best well-stocked house we have visited.

Feels very homely. The games room was great, and the cupboards were also full of board games, puzzles etc. Would highly recommend

Afallon was fantastic.

Home from home. Everything you need at hand. The house was super clean and tidy. The village was lovely and the people were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay at beautiful Afallon

This is our second stay at this property and can't fault it my autistic son loves this property the grounds and the pool room and my daughter calls the upstairs bedroom "her" room

The property has lots of room, it was warm, great position, good facilities, nice views, very well equipped kitchen, each room was lovely especially having ensuit bathrooms and a bathroom next to the main super king, the Morrison shop is walking distance, and it was nice to meet the lovely ladies in the charity shop, also walking distance, it was nice to spend an hour there after a full day's walking, the games room and selection of games was great, the owners are lovely, very helpful, genuinely nice people

A great place to stay.

Loads if equipment provided. Well positioned sunny garden. Quite noisy in the mornings due to development on opposite side of road. Sure this is temporary. Upstairs bedroom had bedside lights that were decorative rather than functional - multi coloured lights with white light that was not bright enough to read by.

The property was really well equipped.

Hosts were in touch whenever you needed & were very good at responding to any sort of question. Only a short walk to village centre where there was a mini market, takeaway & pub. Overall a very good experience.

Well all I can say is positive words,This property is nothing short of amazing.

The owners have obviously but their hearts and souls into it and no expense spared.It is short of nothing and it’s got everything you could ever need for your stay no matter how short or long.Every little touch shows there’s been a lot of thought put into it and we absolutely loved it and must say it’s the best home we have stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot of places in the UK.All the beds are comfy bathrooms spotless living area so cozy,kitchen area is perfect and games room brilliant.Room out front for 3 cars and as stated in the add 2 pubs,local shop and chippy all on the doorstep.We never stay at the same place twice but if we ever changed that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.Thank you Mick & Angella.Tottington.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very well appointed property and very comfortable.

Lovely kitchen and games room. The EV charger is a useful facility as there are only few public chargers. Ideal position bring centrally located. Llangefni has several shops only fifteen minutes away. Look forward to returning.

Great house, with a lovely view out over the fields and excellent amenities like the games room and garden.

Hosts were communicative and very helpful. Well stocked kitchen with decent cooking equipment. Only downside was lack of a general waste bin inside the house. Would definitely come back - fantastic stay.

A lovely property, home from home with everything you need for a stay.

Clean, comfortable and ideally located to visit local attractions and beaches. The pool table was the icing on the cake.

All amenities were great, with a lovely big kitchen, games room with billiards table and comfortable bedrooms. We loved the rear outlook across the fields and the garden was secure enough for our dogs. We had a smashing time and would highly recommend this property. Thank you .

The bungalow was very clean with everything you need for a perfect holiday.

Beds are very comfortable and showers perfect. My son used the car charger and said it was not complicated. Games room has all you need to entertain children if the weather is bad. Owners very helpful if you have a problem.

This property is spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a holiday.

The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are virtually brand new. There is off road parking for several cars. We had to contact the owner regarding the EV Charger and they responded the same day with a follow up message the next day. We would happily recommend this property to anyone.
