  • "We had a lovely week here in Llanfairfechan and this flat was ideally located for a pleasant beach holiday."

This gorgeous location completely delivers on the sea views and it was a massive bonus having that view from the rooms, living room and kitchen. The flat itself is beautifully organised and furnished with everything a young family would require from a high chair to plastic utensils for those little hands which I found extremely useful. The beds were extremely comfortable with clean bedding and there were plenty of clean towels available. A couple of niggling issues : 1. There were plenty of dvds to watch but no DVD player within the tv. I think the defective one was sitting in the storage room and the replacement was a lesser version with no dvd input. It is advertised on the listing but did not deliver. 2. The little freezer in the hallway is very noisy at night and its right next to the master bedroom. I did struggle with it for a couple of nights. An alternative location would be ideal if possible. 3. In terms of cleanliness it was overall all was ok except some of the switches in the kitchen ( under the counter) had food smidges on them. Also the inside of the microwave had food splattered in it from the previous visit. 4. The overall deco of the place is slightly tired in that that family bathroom had paint chipping off in places, the room with twin beds had a piece of wall paper ripping off and some marks on the blue wall. Also noticed cracks in the kitchen and living room walls. Just a little DIY to clean these bits up would spruce the place up. 5. The room with en suite is lovely except the shutters do not hold in place when you try to open and attach to the clips on the walls. In terms of location this coastal town is lovely with a gorgeous beach and quiet feel. I would definitely recommend a quiet family holiday here.

The beds are very comfortable and the bath is amazing, overlooking the sea. The owners are so lovely and accommodating, and even left a basket of Welsh essentials and a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely touch. I will definitely go back to this place, it was a very relaxing stay in a beautifully kept home from home. Literally can not fault any part of my stay

Absolutely spectacular location although the town seemed almost dead, presumably the time of year, we loved Conwy which was only 15 minutes drive away along the coast road. Would happily recommend this place.

  • "We absolutely loved staying here as a family fo 3 with a young son (one years old)."

Gary and his family made us feel prepared and comfortable before even arriving at the holiday home. Everything was literally perfect. Our favourite part was the bath room in the en suite, what a brilliant way to relax and watch the sun set with enough privacy from the outside. Thank you! We cannot wait to book again!

The apartment was clean, had beautiful views and everything we needed as a family of 5! I loved the added benefit of plastic utensils, cups, bowls and a step for my 5 year old to clean her teeth. An apartment with space, views and an abundance of places to visit in beautiful north wales! The welcome gifts were perfect and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Gary, thank you so much for taking the time to make contact and for offering your advice and recommendations. This place is a little gem.

  • "A wonderful place to stay, we cannot recommend it highly enough."

Five of us spent the week staying in this amazing apartment in a truly beautiful location. The apartment was spacious and had everything we could have asked for. We were given full instructions over a phone call and everything was well instructed in the apartment too. There was a welcome hamper waiting for us on arrival, which was such a treat to find after a long journey. The beds were so comfortable, the bath, shower and constant hot water was great and the location was just perfect. It catered for all of us, a quiet walk in the beach, the zip wires about 20 minutes away, we climbed Snowden and visited Aber Falls and Anglesey. The beach was so quiet it felt like our own personal beach at times. We cannot wait to return. Thank you so much.

It's really comfortable - the beds are dreamy. All soft furnishings have been chosen with great care and the flat is comfortable and welcoming. Do beware the stairs though, I see them as part of my daily workout but would not be easy for anyone with mobility issues. I texted the owner a few times over our stay just with some queries and he got back to me straight away with the answers. I love the fact that there are original features in this property - solid doors and pretty catches, all make it very comfortable.and welcoming. Shower is good and powerful, plenty of hot water from the combi boiler. Would highly recommend.

The kids started and ended each day on the beach/grass opposite the apartment. Whilst here we did the Llanfairfechan upland walk, and visited Caernarfon and Llandudno which were not far away. We ate out at the Cottage Loaf, Llandudno (food was great and worth the price), and Village Inn, Llanfairfechan (food was equally great and good value), as well as eating in from local indian take away (again food was great). We simply didn't have any complaints.

The apartment was clean, tidy and had all the amenities we required. The view looking out to the sea and Puffin Island was lovely and the same view from the bath tub on the top floor bedroom was very relaxing. We could always find somewhere to park outside the apartment although it does get busier at weekends but we didn’t have any problems getting a space. The super king size bed in the first bedroom was huge and so comfortable. All the beds were really comfy, the mattress toppers inspired us to buy our own for our beds at home! Would highly recommended staying at Sea View apartment, the area is lovely and it is close to areas such as Llandudno, Conwy and only about 10mins drive to Bangor.

  • "Whilst not an issue for us I don't think the listing was clear that access would have been difficult for a family with very young children or elderly people or those with any physical disability as the stairs were quite steep and you had to use the fire escape to put out the rubbish once the kitchen bin was full."

We would have liked a freezer in the kitchen and a proper cafetiere would have been a nice touch. The flat is in a good location and had fantastic views.

The apartment has fantastic views - over the sea to Puffin Island one way and to Snowdonia the other. It is newly refurbished, well equipped and extremely comfortable and gave us easy access to both Snowdonia and Anglesey. From aged 11 upwards we all have a fantastic time walking, exploring castles and ancient sites and going on a boat trip to see the puffins and seals. The beach was great - especially finding small spotted cat sharks and there is a co-op within walking distance. We'd definitely go back and had no negative comments at all. My only caveat would be for the less mobile is it is up a lot of stairs.

The apartment itself is lovely with the most amazing views over the beach and sea and Llanfairfechan itself is just so pretty. The apartment slept the 6 of us easily ( 4 adults and 2 children) and the beds were lovely and comfortable - the whole apartment is very spacious. There are 2 playgrounds and a skate ramp within a minutes walk from the front door so the children were happy - and with Oceans restaurant virtually next door and the Beach Pavillion café across the road you really don't need to leave the village. The owners, Gary and Myriam were very friendly and hospitable and we look forward to staying again.

First entrance was disappointing but go up and all the stairs become worthwhile. Sea view is very spacious, beautifully presented, the quality of the furnishings are wonderful. We all loved the enormous comfortable beds, fabulous bathrooms and dual aspect living room. Everything was there for us all ranging from 3years old to 65. The views are great, the village is friendly and very well served with 2 parks within 200 yards of the house, Llandudno, Beaumaris or Bangor are easy 10 min drives away. Highly recommend going up the village to the Riverside cafe for a good breakfast served by the nicest of people. We all look forward to a return visit.

All mod cons and really comfortable. The sea views are amazing and we certainly would never bore of them. We explored the surrounding area of Snowdonia and it was always nice to come back to the apartment each evening. The village has a great walk up to the quarry and some extreme hills for bikes. Out of all of the bars etc. we preferred Oceans. The village pubs are ok but the best drink is in Oceans and the staff are really nice. We certainly wouldn't think twice about booking this apartment again for a base for exploring North Wales.
