    The location was perfect and made it easy to get around and explore the area. The accommodation had all the facilities we needed, was clean, and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others!

  • "The accomdation was perfect for a short stay."

    It was clean, well maintained and had everything I needed. The crisps, Welsh cakes, coffee and milk provided were a thoughtful touch. It was conveniently located. The pub was being refurbished, but I was made aware of this and by the looks of it, it won’t be long until it reopens and it is only a minutes walk from the property. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again if ever visiting the area in the future.

  • "The property was great, very comfortable and spotlessly clean."

    All the facilities was good and the owners left a welcome basket with mince pies, crisps and a bottle of Prosecco all received gladly. Kitchen facilities were great, comfortable bed and settee and the log burner was great after a day out walking. Lots to do nearby and if you’re a thrill seeker Zip World is a must, velocity is amazing. The only downside was that the pub opposite was closed for renovations and has been for over twelve months. When booking a holiday one of the things I look for is a nearby pub therefore I felt that Sykes’s listing was very misleading. Aside from that the property was lovely and I had a pleasant holiday.

  • "We were very happy at the accommodation, and our little dog enjoyed it too."

    There was a general store near by. We did not have trouble parking, and it was peaceful. Everyone we met in the village were very helpful and there is an excellent Chinese take away near by. All in all, top marks.

  • "A really lovely holiday let in a delightful village."

    The hosts messaged me re Parking advice which was no issue 1 minute down the lane.The place itself had all that me and my dog needed for a comfortable stay.It was immaculate throughout and a thoughtful welcome basket and milk in the fridge was a nice surprise. A short drive to some great mountain hikes Lake Ogwen The Glyders, Llanberis,Beddgelert and Betwys Coed all within easy reach. I hope to come back and explore walks from Rachub itself another time. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

  • "The stay was wonderful, the property was as expected, possibly better than advertised."

    The pub listed that you can park outside is no longer there and is a private residence now, so no parking was available there, also no pub to visit. The host sent a list of parking on the day before I arrived which made up for this. All in all a great stay, great location, near so many different places, would recommend and I will definitely be back.

  • "We had a lovely stay in the cottage."

    The bed was very comfy and cottage was comfortable and clean. Lots of walks straight from the cottage and very well situated to explore North Wales. I would highly recommend and we hope to come back!

    Sweet little cottage well equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The wood burning fire was a big plus for us. Owners very friendly, responsive and we appreciated the direct contact. Thanks for the welcome basket!

  • "We had a lovely stay for my husbands birthday."

    The cottage is lovely and it was great base for us in north Wales. The cottage was cute and has everything you need and the owners left a lovely gift basket that was really kind of them. Only downside is the lack of parking but we knew that before we went. Don't expect much from the local pub. Apart from that I would thoroughly recommend it

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this simple but well presented cottage in a former slate mining village."

    It is well equipped and the welcome pack and message direct from the owners much appreciated. It should be emphasised that there is no parking immediately adjacent to the property and it is not sensible to try and stop outside as High Street is a surprisingly busy thoroughfare providing access to a large part of the village. It is in a great location for access to Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llyn Peninsula.
