  • "What an absolute stunning property."

    Maintained to the very highest standard, spotlessly clean and with all appliances and utensils that you need. In fact it had more than we have at home! A lovely touch of Gwilym coming to the main road to make sure you know where to turn, Elaine welcomed us too and explained all that was needed alongside a very generous welcome pack. The Annex is a hidden gem. Llanrug is handy for all parts of North Wales and is a quiet village in itself so the location is good too. A Co -op opens until 2200 each day so you are not without a shop. Off road parking as well. We would not hesitate in returning. The Annex is outstanding place to stay.

  • "Nothing but high praise."

    The owners went over and beyond. Very comfortable. Spotlessly clean and loads of added bonuses in the kitchen. Thank you again for all the lovely gifts on arrival. Will definitely book again when visiting relatives.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the annexe."

    The quality of all the fixtures and standard of decoration were first rate. The reclining sofa and armchair were a treat to come back to at the end of a day out! The location was brilliant for getting both to Angelsey and Snowdonia. We would gladly come back.

  • "An extremely comfortable and well maintain accommodation."

    Spotlessly clean with high quality fixtures and furnishings. Not the easiest place to find, it is behind Elaines Hair and Beauty and is not visable from road. Surrounding area heavily populated but it still remains very peaceful. Highly recommended.

  • "The annexe was absolutely incredible."

    It has been finished to a such a high standard and has got everything you could possibly need during your stay. The location is perfect exploring North Wales/Snowdonia. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Thank you for having us to stay in the Annexe.

    Spotlessly clean. Equipped with everything we needed and more. We were provided with some welcome items such as milk, bottle of wine and pringles. We would definitely go back there.

    THE ANNEXE WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, BRIGHT, WELL EQUIPPED AND VERY COMFORTABLE. THE OWNERS WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ANNEXE WAS A LOVELY PLACE TO RETURN TO AFTER EXPLORING THE 'LOCAL' AREA.

  • "The Annexe is clearly cared for dearly."

    It was clean to a very high standard, not a speck of dust. The bed was one of the comfiest we've ever slept in. There were additional treats which made us feel welcome. This stay felt like luxury and we didn't want to leave. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this stay and will definitely come back for another stay.

  • "The Annexe was immaculate, stylish and well equipped with everything we needed."

    The bed and living room furniture were very comfortable, and we were able to log in to the Smart TV in the lounge easily and access our usual apps. We found the kitchen well equipped with everything we would want for cooking a range of meals, with good quality, easy to use, appliances. The owners welcomed us on arrival and were around if we needed to contact them about anything. Location was great for us too, within minutes we were in Caernarfon in one direction and Llanberis the other way. We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend to others.

LLANRUG

Llanberis 2 miles; Caernarfon 4 miles; Betws-y-Coed 15 miles.

Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, one with a Post Office inside, a hair and beauty salon, and 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.
