  • "Lovely old cottage views of lake and mountains superb."

Cottage needs little uplift as some wear and tear issues which I have written in cottage visitors book

  • "No towels were provided despite the individual listing stating that they would be."

The wifi did not work and because the property has no phone reception we had to travel miles down the road to get in touch about the property. The problems were reported and we were told that someone would visit the property if we left the key in the lockbox, no one visited the property and we heard nothing more from you. I find this really disappointing and to be very poor customer service

  • "It feels like a home away from home in a beautiful environment."

We would love to visit again soon to enjoy more walks.

  • "This was a nice house in a very beautiful location."

Check in and out were very easy, and lots of detailed information was provided for guests. Our only issue was that we have small children, and the only room where a travel cot could fit was the attic room. We weren't expecting this, as the booking suggests that children can be easily accommodated. Going up and down an extremely steep and narrow-stepped stairway with a baby and a two-year-old was treacherous. Also, as it's the attic room, you can hear absolutely everything from below and also everything going on in the room, so the other people we were staying with could hear our children throughout the night, and as they are also early risers, this was disruptive. Also, do bring your own hand soap and toilet roll, as these were in short supply and we needed to replace these in the house on day two. If we didn't have children with us though, this would have been an ideal place to stay as it really is lovely.

  • "This is a good basic holiday cottage."

There is a small outdoor space, and nice views from upstairs windows. The location is ideal for walking and outdoor activities. The Co-op shop in Penygroes is well stocked with basics.

  • "The cottage was lovely and in a stunning location."

Kitchen was well equipped but a bit small but great to have two bathrooms. We will return

  • "Home from home in a great location"

  • "Gave 4 stars, plenty of towels, heating, generous."

Requested via you logs for the fire, but there were none. North Wales is not cheap, it's about 2/3 the cost of a week in a Spanish Villa.

  • "The cottage we was clean and comfortable except for the sofas with wonderful views"
