  • "Samsons Place was Perfect in every way,beautiful and clean,felt like home from home."

    A few yards from lane going through golf course to the beach, which our dog loved. Samsons Place is perfectly situated for exploring this part of wales. You have Porthmadog , very close with individual shops and the big stores like Tesco,Lidl and Aldi. We had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We will return.

  • "Just a little old fashioned now- we knew this on booking but took it as the price was excellent."

    Just replace the Minton carpet with a plain one, maybe a refit for a new kitchen. Only thing that really irked me was the ridiculously complicated TV and associated remotes and connected sound bar! That needs simplifying for sure Apart from those views we thought it was excellent value as it was clean and warm.

We do have a programme for renewals but do not plan to replace things that most of our guests are happy with. However we are looking to replace the TV sometime next year.   • "Sampsons Place - there wasn't anything missing from this holiday accommodation."

    The location was also very good. Accessibility to lots of places including the beach. Advertised as dog friendly and it certainly was, our dog usually takes a day or 2 to settle but not here. A good place for a return holiday.

  • "What a gem of a holiday let this is."

    Beautifully thought out with a lovely beach theme throughout. Tastefully done. We found the bungalow very relaxing and homely. Fantastic safe and secure garden for our dog which is always a priority for ourselves. Really close proximity to the beach by way of a short walk either through the golf course or via Beach Road. Lovely pub and local shop very close by. Lots of equipment provided in the bungalow and instructions on recycling policy. We hope to be able to return next year.

  • "A lovely bungalow with good facilities."

    However a grab rail in the shower would be good. The toilet proximity to the heated towel is a bit dangerous… could cause burns! Made me jump a couple of times. Tea towels were provided but we told to provide our own, no big deal. The Bara Brith, milk and chocolate were a nice touch. Would we stay again? YES.

  • "Everything about this property oozes quality and care."

    Spotless, comfortable and has everything you need. Good location close to awesome sandy beach, shop and chippy. Easy to get to Snowdon, Criccieth and Porthmadog. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, large lounge with smart TV, sweet garden, conservatory and dining room, all with quality furniture and well kept, home from home, with nice art on the walls, beachy vibe.   • "One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in."

    Beautifully decorated and very well maintained .The owners have thought of everything you could need in the way of equipment Very comfortable beds, plenty of storage space Private courtyard garden all set in a quiet cul-de-sac position within easy walking distance of the beach and golf course. The cleaning team deserve a special mention for the outstanding standard of presentation of the property. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Samson's Place."

    The bungalow was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Although we did encounter a problem, the owner immediately rectified it. One small suggestion: it would be great to have some outdoor furniture so we could relax outside after a lovely walk. We are already looking forward to our holiday in September.

    The cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable. It is located on a quiet road, with easy access to the beach, mountains and local villages. One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

  • "Beautiful bungalow, everything you need just where you need it."

    Beach just a short walk away. My 12 year old son wanted to move in! WiFi and TV for him, a secure garden for the dog, Tesco's a 6 minute drive. We spent our days at the beach, went on the steam train, terrified ourselves at the caverns and took in the views around Snowdon. A lovely few days. Thank you so much.

The lovely village of Morfa Bychan is situated within a short stroll of the spectacular beach at Black Rock Sands, and is home to a local store, pub, fish and chip shop, a Post Office and an excellent 18 hole golf course. Just 2 miles away, set on the picturesque Glaslyn Estuary, is the bustling harbour town of Porthmadog, boasting an array of individual shops and restaurants, whilst being home to the Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway, where you can travel by steam train through the spectacular Snowdonia scenery. The village of Tremadog is close by with its pubs and restaurant, plus the pretty village of Borth-y-Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is within a short drive, while the celebrated and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is within easy touring distance. Discover the majestic castles at nearby Criccieth, Harlech and Caernarfon, explore the slate caverns at Llechwedd, or try a day of sea, course, or game fishing in the area.
