Lovely bungalow .

Right next to a shop that sells everything including good takeaway food . Warm, clean, very dog friendly . Walking distance from the beach . Fabulous . Driveway is pretty tight to get into through the gate but but very long .

This is a lovely little house with a secluded rear garden.

The house was spotless when we arrived and there is a generous welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. We booked this for my mom as everything for her would be on one level. There is an over-bath shower in the main bathroom and a walk-in shower at the end of the utility room. Neither of these were accessible to Mom as the walk-in shower was quite a step up. The wardrobes have drawer units at the bottom and the hanging rail above that: ideal if you're 6ft tall but impossible to reach if you're short. Everything else in the house is on the same level and nothing to trip over apart from a very thick rug in the bedroom. The lounge was comfortable with 2 two-seater settees and 2 small chairs. It's minimally decorated with a grandfather clock, some local artwork and a decent sized TV. There is a second toilet outside, behind the garage, painted in a very vibrant red, complete with a plastic crab and lobster to watch you. On the last day we discovered the shed key, hiding under the container for the tea and coffee. Allegedly there's a barbecue in there but this is Wales and it wasn't barbecue weather. The upstairs bedrooms have 2 single beds each, sufficient hanging and drawer space. One room had a box full of jigsaw puzzles, ready for Welsh weather, and the other had a bookcase with kids, sports and history books plus plenty of golfing magazines. The doors and ceilings are low so beware. In the utility room, there was a rainy day box with games and more jigsaw puzzles. For dogs, there's a ball thrower, poop bags and a decent sized area under the stairs for them to sleep. Outside, there's a front garden, rear garden and a grassy run out the back. There's a gate to secure the driveway from the road but the grassy run only has a simple fence so dogs can easily get into the field behind and next door's garden. The petrol station and well-stocked Costcutter is literally two doors down and an excellent chip shop is 5 minutes up the road, opposite the local Presbyterian church. The beach is 10 minutes walk away with a pub/restaurant and further up towards the car park is a café.

We had a fabulous time in this extremely comfortable property, in a glorious part of the country. We will be back!

A nice place to stay.

We had tea, coffee, milk and some biscuits provided. We just had problems with the back door as we couldn’t lock it from the inside, so we had to use the patio

This was our second stay at Garth and it was just as wonderful as the first.

The house is beautifully presented, very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. It’s also incredibly dog friendly, which made it perfect for the whole family – our dog felt right at home. The location is fantastic, with easy access to a stunning beach that’s ideal for walks or just enjoying the view. There’s so much to do in the surrounding area too - it’s a brilliant base whether you want to relax or head out and explore. We had another lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Highly recommended!

Garth is a lovely comfortable place to stay.

Great facilities and nice sunny garden for outdoor relaxing for humans and dogs.. Plenty of room. Plenty of towels. The deep bath was fabulous after a long day walking some of the coastal paths. A handy village shop virtually next door. We had a warm weather week but evenings were chilly so the efficient central heating was welcome. Very comfortable bed. A 15 minute walk is Cwrw Llyn, a micro brewery with outdoor space and excellent ales. Highly recommend. The welcome tea and biscuits were greatly received. Can not fault this lovely holiday home and can't wait to re book again.

Great location and ample off road parking.

However just some frustrations - only one toilet in a bathroom inadequate for a house that could sleep 6 people. Few mirrors and the only one in an upper bedroom is tucked in a dark corner. Other upper bedroom one small mirror inadequate. Shower over the bath is a waste of time - the shower room shower is good. No cupboards for toiletries in there however. Beds not particularly comfortable although not used to sleeping in a single bed. Kitchen good but some pans don’t work on the induction hob. Distinct shortage of drawers for clothing in upper bedrooms.

We had a fantastic week here.

The property suited us and our dog perfectly. Everything we could possibly need was there, and the house was spotlessly clean. The garden was completely secure so our dog could be outside without us worrying about him escaping! We loved the area, and did some fabulous walks on beaches and cliff paths, enjoying amazing views and watching the birds - and seals. Stopping off at the pub on our way home ended the days perfectly. We would love to come back. Thankyou.

The house itself is lovely and very dog friendly. It was homely and very clean with every practical item you can think of included. We felt the photos didn’t do it justice and it exceeded our expectations. The area itself was beautiful and Garth was ideally situated for the beach and coastal walks as well as days out a little further afield. We really cannot recommend Garth enough, we had a lovely stay.

Situated within a short walk from the beach Garth certainly benefits from providing off road parking.

The property has everything needed for a self catering holiday. The heating system is superb providing plenty of hot water for really nice warm showers either in the bathroom or downstairs shower room.the local petrol station also contains a small supermarket for essentials but for a full shop the nearest supermarket is in Pwllheli some 15 mins drive. There are some stunning scenic coastal walks through the local golf course over Porthcynllaen with the added bonus of the Ty Coch Inn located directly on the beach. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Lovely property in a great location - bit old fashioned but v clean and tidy and we would definitely stay again - garden was great for our dog and for us to sit out in the sun

A great location, only a short 5 min walk to the beach & 1 min from the local shop. A lovely clean & comfortable property, the kids & dog had a great time, highly recommended.

If you want a relaxing holiday at the beautiful Welch coast with scenery all around, Garth is perfect, from the walks along the beach close by, and adjoining countryside, to relaxing in the secure back garden and enjoying the homely atmosphere with every amenity possible!

Just a short walk from the store which sells all you need including the best barabrith! Our holiday was perfect and we will be returning to Garth…. can’t wait!

We had a lovely stay at Garth mid June made even more special due to the glorious weather.

The property is well placed for local amenities and just a few minutest walk to the beach. Lovely walks from the door step along the beach and coastal path. We didn’t get in the car again until we went home. The property was clean and well decorated. Plenty of crockery and utensils in the kitchen. Useful labels on the cooker to support instructions. Lovely to have patio doors into the garden and an enclosed dog run. We will certainly be booking again.

Great to have the secure dog run at the back. The dog was very happy walking to the beach twice a day as it’s only a short walk. Everything needed for day to day life is in the house and surrounding area, so can’t go wrong. Could easily make this a yearly break as there is plenty to do and see. Loved the kitchen as it provided a great space for much needed family time. Thank you for the hospitality.

We stayed at Garth as a family of 4 for the last week in August and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The house was welcoming and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The kitchen is well equipped and the complimentary BBQ was a lovely touch. The kids enjoyed playing in the secure garden and the near by beaches are just beautiful. The only thing we are sad about is only discovering 'The Cliffs' pub on the last evening. A true gem! We would love to come back next year!

My wife had stayed here previously so I booked to go again as a surprise for us both.

We were not disappointed. The cottage was clean, cosy and well equipped with everything you could need for a short break away. It was within a short drive to all the local amenities and attractions and only a short walk from the beach too. Somewhere we would definitely be thinking about booking again.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a special place — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped, making it a pleasure to cook and gather together. The overall space in the house was fantastic, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and unwind. One of our favourite features was the lovely garden — a great spot to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and let the kids & dog run around safely. The location couldn’t have been better. Just a short walk to the sea, with stunning coastal views and access to the beach. There’s also a handy local shop nearby, which made picking up essentials quick and easy. Overall, this property offered everything we hoped for — comfort, space, and a fantastic location. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this part of North Wales. Amazing location to explore North Wales, lovely beach and beautiful scenery.

The house suited our family of four perfectly, it was clean and comfy with a kitchen that had all the appliances, would definitely return.

Lovely house and central location.

We had a wonderful sunny week staying at this lovely cottage and honestly couldn't have asked for more.

The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we loved preparing meals together with the patio doors open onto the garden. We even made our own afternoon tea using the cake stand provided, teacups and champagne glasses, which made it feel extra special. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, who could safely explore while we relaxed outside. He claimed the little space under the stairs, aptly named "The Dog House", as his own! After long days exploring, the deep bath was a real treat. We walked the stunning coastal path from Morfa Nefyn to Tudweiliog, taking in the breathtaking scenery, and stopped for a pint at Ty Coch right on the beach. We were even lucky enough to spot seals along the cliffs, which was a real highlight. We also enjoyed fish and chips from Ty Cod, the takeaway in the village. The food was excellent and made for a perfect, easy meal after a day out exploring. The visitor information book was great, full of helpful recommendations for the owners' favourite beaches, walks and places to visit. We also enjoyed spending our evenings playing the board games provided. Having the shop just a few doors away was so convenient. It seemed to stock everything we needed and even served hot food to take away. The beach and beautiful coastal walks are all within easy reach, making it an ideal location. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We had a fantastic stay at Garth as part of a trip to play a number of great local golf courses.

Garth’s location is ideal with a number of restaurants either in walking distance or 5 minute drive away, there is also a petrol station and convenience store close by and the beach is also only a 5 minute walk away. The property itself is in great condition and has all the amenities you would need. It is spacious and doesn’t feel overcrowded with over 4-6 people staying. I’d highly recommend a stay at Garth as part of a trip to the beautiful North West.
