• "We loved our stay here."

  A fabulous house in a great location. We have stayed in the area a few times, and this was the best so far. It had everything we needed and the enclosed garden was great for our dog Can totally recommend

• "Beautiful well located cottage ."

  Well equipped Shower was lovely. Kitchen very spacious family space. Beds super comfy. No problem with getting a parking space. Few things for owners to consider. No microwave. Could do with a grill that fitted the top grill. Possibly a starter fire pack. A kitchen radio Shed outside looks messy - but could see it’s maybe work in progress . Would definitely re book if property is still a holiday rental next year .

There is a microwave as part of the oven - we are in the process of adding the instructions into our welcome pack so it’s easy to find. Apologies this wasn’t clear. The shed is due to be fixed over the coming months and as you correctly thought is a work in progress. The rest of your points we will take into consideration. • "The cleanliness of the cottage is below an acceptable standard."

  We stayed for a week at the may half term. Upon arrival it smelt damp. The covers on the couches had not been cleaned covered in dog hairs and sand. I had to wash these instantly on arrival. Throughout the property there were cobwebs and dust and a significant number of spider. It looks as though it hadn’t had a good clean for a long time. Not good if you have allergies. The back garden was over grown and did not have the garden furniture as advertised. The paint was peeling in the bathroom due to damp. The main bedroom also had stained walls from damp. Upon complaining to Sykes’s to give chance to resolve considering I spent 2 days of my holiday cleaning I got an apology. Not acceptable when paying over £1000 for damp dirty accommodation.

  Thanks for your feedback. We are disappointed to read about your experience for your stay. Our recent reviews in our visitor book in the cottage have commented on how clean and welcoming the cottage is so we are disappointed you did not feel the same. Our cleaning team live very locally to the cottage so had you contacted us to discuss these issues on immediate arrival they would have been straight round to address the issues with you and sorted any of your worries. We are disappointed that we had not been given the opportunity to do this as you did not contact us directly or Sykes about any of your concerns. In your email (after your full weeks stay) direct to Sykes you mentioned you spent 1 day cleaning and here it has increased to 2 days! On a positive note and following some constructive feedback we have received from another visitor we have upgraded our cushions and throws in the lounge to ensure they remain clean and welcoming. We will endeavour to continue making positive changes to the cottage over the coming months to ensure our future guests enjoy their stay in our lovely cottage by the sea. Again I am sorry it did not live up to your expectations and would like to wish you all well for your future holidays. Property Owner

• "Fantastic location only a stones throw from the beach."

  Kitchen had excellent quality appliances that opens onto a pretty back garden that has lots of space for dogs and family. Comfy beds in cute bedrooms that had retained original decor. Only downside was that some of the soft furnishings ie pillows were becoming worn and lack of starter pack/cleaning materials to help with maintenance of the cottage. A couple of used towels were left in the bathroom. Overall a lovely cottage in the most amazing area that just needs a little tlc.

There should have been a starter pack left in the kitchen for you so apologies if this has been missed. • "Lovely cottage, spacious open plan downstairs and a good sized garden."

  Perfect location less than 5 mins walk from the beach, a pub, cafe and a decent local shop, and around 30 mins (or less) walk across the golf course or beach from the Ty Coch pub and its gorgeous beach. For those that don't know the area you can get to loads of other amazing beaches and villages within a 30 min drive, often a fair bit less. Would very happily return.

• "We had a wonderful time at the house, the property is absolutely wonderful - located perfectly for everything - a short stroll to the beach, shops, pub, golf you name it!"

  Great garden, fully equipped with everything - we even got to meet the actual owners who are simply wonderful people and enhanced our stay. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is thinking of booking a stay in Morfa Nefyn!!

• "The cottage is well equipped with a great kitchen and open plan living area."

  It was very clean and comfortable. We were blessed with good weather for our stay and found the location perfect for walks, beach and the local pub. The garden was good, but not fully secure for dogs. Slight negatives were lightbulbs not working (guest info said to contact owners if any lightbulbs out - but no way to contact and Sykes number out of date!) Also felt that for such a fantastic kitchen, too many cupboards had random stuff in them which could be organised better to leave more space for guests to store things.

• "Wasn't completely clean on arrival i."

• "The cottage was like a home from home (without all our clutter!"

  ). It was really spacious, whilst being cosy at the same time. The open plan layout worked really well so we could all be doing different things e.g. cooking, reading, playing on the floor, and still able to talk to each other. My daughter loved all the toys, books and games in the cottage and we had a lot of fun as a family playing Dobble and the Gone Fishing Game :o). It took us a bit of practice to get the cooker and hobs working, but once we did it was straightforward. Upstairs the bedrooms were super comfy and we loved all the seaside theme ornaments. We loved it all and would love to come and stay again and explore more of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.
