"The bungalow was perfect for our stay on Ynes Mon."
The kitchen diner was a good size for the 6 of us (3 adults & 3 children) and we enjoyed the space there for breakfast & dinner. The beds were comfy. Spacious bathroom. We were really pleased and the bungalow matched the pictures on line.
The location is fab as only a few mins drive to the most stunning beach. Handy shop in the next road.
Overall a fantastic property that is well maintained and had everything we needed for our short trip.
I would love to see more crockery - there were only 3 bowls available so we ate our morning cereal in shifts!
Thanks for your feedback! We’ll replace the crockery, seems like we’ve lost a few items!

"Perfectly placed for us walking the south side of Anglesey, particularly the Newborough forest."
Quiet and very near facilities in village such as shop, pub, fish shop and bus stops.
The bungolow was really roomy for just the 2 of us plus our small dog.
The blind in the bathroom has still not been fitted, as previously mentioned in reviews and step outside door is wobbly but otherwise a lovely place with a secluded garden to enjoy the area.
Only drawback were having to telephone the owner so some heat could be obtained from the radiators in the rooms being used, as evenings were becoming a little chilly. Maybe this was with the weather changing from the hot weather we'd just had to cooler weather. One other drawback was the lack of instruction manuals for the electrical appliances.
Finally, just a suggestion, but some table mats would enable hot plates to not be placed directly on to the lovely long table in the kitchen.
We did have a very enjoyable week there with no major problems.
Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate all feedback and have ensured your points raised have been addressed. We are pleased you had an enjoyable week kind regards

"The property was ok, garden was overgrown and needed tidying."
The garden furniture cushions were on the floor and were wet. The towels were old and mismatched. The house was clean on arrival and ideally situated. The shower tray needed maintenance and regrouting. The white sheets had stains on them. This is just for the owners information. Overall a nice stay, but just some points for improvement.
Thanks for the feedback. it’s hard during peak season to keep on top of some of the faults or problems created by previous tenants or just general upkeep, as we didn’t hear from you during your stay, we assumed all was well. We’ll definitely look into the stains on bedding, that is something that is unacceptable for us.

"Everything was great — the place was clean, cozy, and really close to Newborough Beach, which was perfect."
Just a few small things: the electric fireplace mentioned in the description wasn’t there, the bathroom locks didn’t work properly, and one of the bedrooms didn’t have any light bulbs at first (but we found a spare one in the kitchen). Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it!

"Property was clean and far more spacious that I thought."
The bedrooms are all great sizes and Beds and really comfortable. Living room is ample for 4A and 3C, and we were able to hook up the switch with ease. Kitchen was clean and the table was a great size. Could have done with some oven trays and maybe another frying pan (but not the end product of the world). Bathroom has a small shower cubicle, toilet and sink which were clean and there was space to get changed and move around. The bathroom lock was really hard to turn so we didn’t use it.
All in all, we had a really lovely few days. Perfect house for getting to the beach quickly. We would come again.
Thanks, Kaylie

"Cae Teg is a well placed house for exploring the amazing Newborough Forest, beach and Warren and the whole of Anglesey."
It's 5 minutes walk from a shop, excellent chippy and a welcoming local pub. The house itself was clean and tidy with comfortable beds although for the time of year it was quite cold as the heating seems to have a mind of its own and there is no working fire. The large dining table is great for the size of the house whilst the living room would struggle to seat 7 if the house was booked to capacity. As previous guest have pointed out there is no working lock on the bathroom door and the bathroom window is definitely in need of a blind. We felt quite uncomfortable using the bathroom as it is opposite the front door of the neighbours house and even with patterned glass you can quite easily see in and out especially with the light on. The front step is also still loose. The owner was very quick to sort a problem we had with the shower not draining and had someone out to it within a
couple of hours.
That said, we had a lovely weekend and if the issues were addressed we would definitely stay again.
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for your feedback.
Couple of things you mentioned re step & blind will be addressed.
The bathroom lock works fine, not sure why you struggled with it & the heating has some preset timings, I can only assume you may have accidentally confused the timer by trying to set your own?
Glad you had a nice time though.

"Lovely sized property."
Good standard of cleanliness. Perfect location to explore the island.
Only areas that let it down are the settee in the lounge. Great if you're a teenager who likes to sprawl but if you're like us having to shuffle backwards to sit and get off again because of the width isnt comfy or easy.
There should also be a blind in the bathroom as window is opposite next doors front door and if you put lights on at night they could see everything. We had to buy something to cover window temporarily.
Overall a good property though, just hope the owner takes note and sorts.
I saw someone else's comment about no lock on bathroom door and that is still not sorted.
Thank you for your feedback.
There are two sofas in the lounge which are very different to each other, designed to suit different preferences.
The window in the bathroom is heavily patterned so that you cannot actually see inside, but noted, we can add a blind to avoid future concerns, especially as the shorter days are upon us!
Apologies about the lock (there is one) which was broken by a previous tenant and we fixed it. Sounds like it’s gone again, if you’d told me during your stay I would have endeavoured to fix it but will aim to get this resolved again. Many thanks, glad you enjoyed your time regardless.

"We had a very enjoyable week at Cae Teg – comfy beds, very clean, good wi-fi and an excellent, quiet location with easy access to LLanddwyn beach and Island and a small, well-stocked supermarket, pub and fish and chip shop only five minutes’ walk away."
The kitchen was very well-equipped and the only extra things we would have found useful were a washing-up bowl, a tin-opener, a sieve and a measuring jug.
Just three further points – part of the front door-step was loose and wobbly, having only blinds and no curtains meant the bedrooms were quite light, and the lock on the bathroom door didn’t work, which could have led to an embarrassing situation!
However, we can highly recommend Cae Teg and would have no hesitation in booking here again next time we visit Anglesey.
Thanks for the review great feedback

"The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a very quiet and peaceful location."
30 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive to local forest and beach, both fabulous especially for those with dogs.
Tim the owner was very responsive, helpful and extremely accommodating when we thought we might need to stay an additional night because of unexpected ill health.
We will definitely stay here again, thank you for a lovely break.
Thanks Yvonne, you’re very welcome!
