"Superb dog friendly, well equipped cottage with a lovely garden and ample facilities."
All the little extras are well thought through and really appreciated, especially regarding the dog.
The only improvement I would consider is a grab handle in the shower and a tray for toiletries. That’s how good it is, the best I have been to!
We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks so much for your lovely review, we’ll absolutely take you up on your suggestions. Hopefully we can welcome you back again soon!

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage."
It’s in a great, convenient location and looks exactly like the photos, which is always reassuring when booking somewhere new. The welcome gifts were also a really nice touch and made us feel very welcome.
The only thing we felt could be improved slightly was the communication around recycling. As recycling is quite important on Anglesey, it would have been helpful to have clearer information about how to recycle during our stay. We also thought there might be an opportunity to make some of the welcome items a little more eco-friendly by reducing single-use plastic or using refillable options instead.
That said, these are only minor points and we really enjoyed our stay overall.
Hi Lois,
Really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Rhianfa and thank you so much for your feedback.
Recycling is very important to us and there is information about this in the welcome booklet. It’s worth noting that our commercial waste management company sort and recycle all waste from the cottage once collected.
We really hope to welcome you back soon.

"Another enjoyable stay at this lovely, dog friendly, property."
Thanks to owners for making us so very welcome. The garden is ideal for us all, Lovely birdsong and even what I think may be a budgie flying with a flock of blue tits??

"Great little cottage in the perfect location, a short drive or nice walk to Newborough Forest and Llandwynn beach."
Facilities were fine, bed was comfy and garden was perfect for our little furry friend, being fully enclosed. Nice garden views as well. Small convenience shop 50m away as well as a pub, chippy and Tapas take away.

"The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed."
It was a real advantage having a secure garden for the dog, which was also pleasant to sit out in when we had a couple of sunny days. There are few facilities in the village itself. The corner shop is well stocked but the only pub was closed through the day. The tapas restaurant was also closed when we stayed in March. There is a fish and chip shop. It was a great base to explore Newborough beach and forest. The beach car park is only a short drive away. We spent most of our time exploring the fabulous beaches of Anglesey and would definitely return.

"We stayed at Rhianfa for a week with 2 labs and it was perfect!"
The whole cottage was spotless and smelled divine when you first walked in, you can tell whoever is looking after the property puts a lot of effort in to keeping it clean and welcoming! Perfect positon to aceess Newborough and a little shop facing for anytging you have forgotten which is open late! The garden is secure and was great for my 2 labs who are skilled escape artists! The beds where comfy and they where so many little welcome gifts left all around the property! You could go with just a bag of clothes and need nothing else! I would dedinately recomend this to anyone and I will be booking again later this year! One of my top stays in Newborough !
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We’re so glad you had such an enjoyable stay - we’d be so happy to welcome you back again!

"Rhianfa is a lovely warm, clean, well equipped cottage with a fully enclosed garden for the dogs."
We've just returned home from a 7 night stay and were sad to leave. The small village pub is a stone's throw away and we had some great nights in there with the landlady and her regulars. Newborough forest and beach are both stunning places for dog walks and we will definitely stay at Rhianfa cottage again. Loved it.

"Super holiday cottage."
Back from a fantastic week's holiday at Rhiafa in Newbourgh on Anglesey, apart from the storm on our first night the rest of the week was brilliant,on arrival the cottage was spotless cosy and warm, the house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen has everything you need wonderful range cooker which is a joy to cook with, comfy living room with the added bonus of a log burner. The extra downstairs toilet is a great extra, lovely comfortable beds and a great shower in the bathroom. The back large enclosed garden was wonderful for our dog Jess she loved playing in the garden. The village of Newbourgh has a well stocked local shop and a great fish and chip shop.It has a great pub The White Lion it's well worth a visit or three, lovely owner Alyson and her husband are dog mad people who offer a very warm welcome to everyone and their dogs, great atmosphere and very friendly local people.I must say it's the best dog friendly pub ever.
We had the pleasure of meeting Nick the new owner of the property,a very nice person, during our stay we had a problem with the WiFi, after contacting Nick,he sorted out the problem straight away even coming to the house to sort it out.we had a great week covering most of the island, great beaches, food, beer and weather.
Would recommend this property to family and friends and are looking forward to coming back next year.
