What guests are saying
This is our 4th time here, we absolutely love this place and hopefully after my major operation we will be booking again, I love the quietness of this place, the views, the walks, the space in the house is brilliant, we sit in the conservatory looking at the views,my dogs love it too.
. the only negatives I have this time there was no lights outside and its very dark there,so could be dangerous especially when your walking outside at night with your dogs, also alot of the slabs were lose, which could be dangerous at night with no lights you can't see where your going.. it wasn't as clean as it was on our other stays. There were a few cobwebs in the conservatory, bathroom!! Also there were lots of flies and i mean alot, there were some on our other stays but not like this, I live in the country and I know flies can be part of the countryside but not this many. At one time we had about 40 flies in the conservatory, I used the fly spray because there was quite abit of fly poop on the furniture and table, we shut the windows and door, next day when we got up there was about another 20 in the conservatory plus loads on the lounge ceiling, we had to open the windows and doors to get them out!! It doesn't mean i don't love this place i do, but i do think that something needs to be done on the things I mentioned, before it gets worse..
The cottage was in a wonderful location for the forest and beach.
We walked to the beach everyday with our dogs took about 10-15 mins. Plenty of different walks through the forest. The cottage was lovely and cosy. The owner very friendly, nothing was too much of a problem. It was well equipped a home from home. It is next to the owners farm so there were cattle and sheep in adjacent fields, which was lovely to watch while cooking. The garden area very secure for dogs.
We had a lovely relaxing time at Tir Mawr.
Lovely big bungalow with everything you need. Big garden for dogs to run around and walking distance to the forest and beach. Location perfect for what we needed.
