“Lovely clean accommodation, very comfortable, great views from house and gardens.”

Appreciated cleaning products and nice touches such as biscuits and milk in the fridge. Will be returning in the summer holidays, I highly recommend this lovely place.

The property

Offering a delightful base in the seafront town of Colwyn Bay, this detached house boasts beautiful sea views and a stylish interior.

Bay View House will be the perfect choice for a North Wales break for a family of four, being within walking distance of the beach and the town's amenities, as well as being just a stone's throw from Llandudno and Rhos-on-Sea.

Arrive at your new home-from-home and park on the drive, before setting down your bags and enjoying a moment to settle in the sitting room; here you'll find some inviting cream leather sofas, a TV and a pretty electric stove-effect fire, offering a lovely spot to wind down.

To the other end of the room is the dining area with a stylish dark wood table and chairs, so once you've unpacked you can perch here and go over the coming days' plans.

A viewing window from here into the kitchen means you not only get to keep the chef company as the dinner is prepared, but you can still savour the sea views which can be seen out of the kitchen.

In here, make use of the good range of appliances beneath the sleek black granite worktops, including an electric oven and hob as well as a fridge with a freezer box within.

Travel up to the first floor to find the charming bedrooms, both kitted out with fitted wardrobes and light, bright decor, you can choose from either the double room, or the twin room, with pretty coordinating bed linen completing the tranquil space perfectly.

Enjoy a hot shower within the contemporary shower room boasting a stylish and simple design.

Outside in the garden you can sit with a refreshing drink in the evening and watch the sun fade over the sea from the terrace, or in the day time play with the children on the lawn; even in the colder months you can still relish the sun by spending an hour or two with a good book in the summer house.

Head out on foot and find all the amenities you need within a one-mile radius, travel along the promenade and take the dog out on the beach for a good run-around in the fresh sea air; you'll find quaint cafés along the way, perfect for stopping for a warm cup of tea.

Further up into Rhos-on-Sea, golfers should visit the Rhos-on-Sea Golf Club for a lovely course offering beautiful sea views behind it, with this resort also home to an excellent sandy beach.

Walk up and over the Little Orme before coming to the large Great Orme, travelling past Llandudno Bay, be sure to look out for the seals which can be sometimes spotted here!
