  • "Lovely house, great size for large families."

Loved the extra space down stairs too. We wished it would have been decorated for our Christmas stay, it was a bit disappointing that there was no small Christmas decorations. Kitchen was great and very well stocked- thank you! The only downside was the size of the fridge- given the property sleeps 13 people and we were there for 3 days- the fridge was quite small. This is a wonderful place in a great location for a quiet stay. Would definitely recommend :)

  • "A beautiful holiday home in immaculate condition in a great location."

Beds were comfortable, and the home is well stocked. The owner is extremely helpful, ensuring our stay was pleasant. Nice sea views from the cottage. The whole family, with a range of different ages, all enjoyed our stay at Gwyder.

  • "We would like to thank you for making our holiday experience amazing."

The holiday home was truly 'a home'. It was exactly how it was listed on Sykes website. Every member of the family was satisfied with their rooms. The folder left by the owner was really useful as it allowed us to plan our days. There is loads to visit and do locally with several hidden gems. The woodland walks, watching the sunset on the beach, sun rising in the AM. This property really captures nature at its best as it is the heart of it all. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone. Thank you to Neil, from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay blessed and blissful.

Enjoying stunning sea views and a prime position near the beach and a hub of attractions, Gwyder is also within reach of the Snowdonia National Park, offering the best of the coast and the countryside; thirteen guests are invited for a group celebration, along with two furry companions.

Park up roadside and be welcomed by the charming exterior of Gwyder.

Head indoors to firstly locate the sitting room, contemporarily styled and offering a relaxing atmosphere, where you can unwind after a day of travelling.

Next door you'll find the formal dining room, with enough space to house your entire party, enjoying mealtimes together with the Welsh coastline in your backdrop.

The kitchen is well-equipped and sleekly-presented to ease your self-catered stay, where you can prepare meals to also be enjoyed alfresco, with a private and enclosed courtyard resting to the rear of the home.

For a quiet nook, head downstairs to the lower ground floor, where you'll find the second sitting room, complete with plush seating, a TV, and an electric log-effect fire, offering a warming glow as you catch up on your latest programme.

On this floor you'll also find a double bedroom and a shower room, acting as an annexe, ideal for teenagers or older members of your group.

Locate three well-presented bedrooms by climbing up to the first floor, including two doubles and a twin bedroom, all serviced by a bathroom, whilst a further double and triple bunk room sit on the top floor, enjoying far-reaching sea glimpses; a shower room is available on the second floor for convenience.

As the sun rises, head into Penmaenmawr to stock up on the essentials or to dine out, with The Village Bistro and Bron Eryri within walking distance, before heading for the beach, followed by a tour of the local museum.

Head for Conwy for another day at the coast, where you can also tour Conwy Castle, travel back in time by discovering Plas Mawr townhouse, or follow the Llwybr Moryd CONWY Estuary Trail towards Llandudno Junction.

Be sure to fill your itinerary with the attractions of Llandudno, where you can attend an event at Venue Cymru, travel up to the Great Orme Summit Complex, or enjoy a bag of fish and chips along the pier, whilst the national park is brimming with nature-filled landscapes, where you can hike towards the Pensychnant Conservation Centre, discover Aber Falls, and visit the Adventure Parc Snowdonia for surf lessons and further outdoor activities.

PENMAENMAWR

Conwy 5 miles.

Nestled on the North Wales coast between Llanfairfechan and Conwy, Penmaenmawr is an old quarrying town now adapted into a delightful community stretching along this stunning coastline, yet retaining much of its Victorian architecture, with many local pubs, restaurants and shops, a superb golf course and golden, sandy beaches. A recently opened cycle path leads along the coastal path to Conwy Marina to the East, and Llanfairfechan to the west. Or, head up the Conwy valley through the Sychnant Pass on to the mountain trails that abound there. The sailing club in Penmaenmawr is well established and welcomes day guests, as does the 9 hole golf course, set amongst stunning coastal scenery on the lower slopes of the village.
