  • "We had an amazing time at an incredible location staying on the Orme itself!"

Pyllau Farm is comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for us all and the dogs! Great walks around the Orme and if you are brave and up for it the walk into Llandudno is easier downhill than coming back!!! There is always the tram of course...

  • "We had to clean the shower drain to stop it flooding the downstairs bathroom."

No contact numbers for the owner, Too many sheep in the garden. Rubbish bins were full with little info about recycling. No information about using appliances. Otherwise a very nice location.

  • "Had an amazing stay at Pyllau Farm, everything as the listing said and perfect for us as a family with teenagers."

Surrounded by beautiful views and only a mile from Llandudno, it was a steep climb up in the car - we didn't try it by foot! Hot tub was so enjoyable at night after a day sightseeing. Very peaceful and relaxing we would definitely return. The sheep do get through the fence so you do have to be careful with dogs. Thank you so much!

  • "I booked Palau Farm for a surprise family get together for my wife’s 60th birthday and all I can say is ‘wow’."

The location is amazing and the views stunning. The property itself was perfect for us with the large open plan kitchen and seating area at one end with doors opening up to that view providing a great place to sit and chat/play board games and eat. The kitchen and utility room were extremely well equipped although a vacuum cleaner and broom would have been useful to be able to tidy up before leaving. Had it been cold enough to use, the wood burner and supply of wood in the lounge the other end of the property would have been another great facility. We couldn’t get the Sky boxes to work but the internet was reliable and fast enough for the ample supply of apps pre loaded on the TV’s to provide something to watch in the evenings. During the day, who needs tv with a view like that! Many hours spent watching the sheep and goats roaming in the farms ground. The icing on the cake for us was standing outside and seeing the Northern Lights. Not supplied by the property :) but a fantastic part of our time there. We have only been back a day and are already missing the views. A big thank you to the owner for the effort put into making Pyllau Farm a fantastic holiday home, we will definitely be returning.

  • "The house location was beautiful, facilities provided and cleanliness brilliant, a lovely welcome pack was left and something for the children which was really thoughtful of the owner."

Hot tub was put to some use it was amazing. Groundskeeper came on the first day to help us access keys and brought items for the children to play with and told us about the local area which was really kind/ useful. However he did then come a couple of times a day everyday for a chat, which we found a bit odd, felt like abit like we were being monitored. An additional gate key fob would have been useful as we had multiple cars. All in all amazing stay, beautiful cottage we’d definitely stay again x

  • "Beautiful house set in amazing surrounding on the Great Orme."

Sheep like to visit daily so dogs definitely have to be on a lead The only issue we had , no dinning room table , 6 people but only four chairs at a breakfast bar, so had to eat at different times . There is a table in the patio but far too cold to sit outside. No manual available on how to work oven or hob , or how to work the heating , so cold at night . Tried to light the coal fire , no matches, when lit the fire put smoke back into house . However , didn’t spoil our time and will definitely return .

  • "Beautiful and very well appointed cottage."

Excellent bedrooms and bedding. Lovely location half way up the Great Orme. Hot tub was excellent. Very nice welcome pack too! Suggestions to make it even better 1. Better instructions re accessing gate fob 2. Instructions required for cooker, oven, microwave etc 3. Instructions for washing machine & dryer 4. TV’s needed software updates and instructions on how to use 5. Mirrors in the bedrooms 6. Some of the fences need repairing as we frequently had sheep roaming the gardens

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
