Another lovely & relaxing stay here .

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed here & we’ve also stayed in the 3 bedroom one when family joined us . I’ve already booked next summers holiday for here . Gorgeous views , fresh eggs from the hens in the farm . We noticed that the TV, toaster , kettle & garden furniture were upgraded this year which was a lovely surprise

The cottage was perfect for our requirements.

The garden was a good size, and we were able to enjoy the view throughout the day. Gwyneth was a perfect hostess, there if we needed anything and my husband really enjoyed the eggs. Thank you.

Lovely clean cottage, beautiful setting, my only disappointment was the water pressure in the shower, and no cleaning products to leave the property clean with,not even a squeegy to do the shower cubicle doors with.

Gwyneth was a nice lady, the eggs were lovely.

Walks to the coastal path from your door onto The Range which is a truly remarkable place to rest and reset.

Booked for my partners 60th on arrival was so happy lovely views and you can see the sea also ,Gwineth the owner is a lovely lady and gave us some fresh eggs from the farm , also a welcome pack on arrival , you can go to the many cove beaches within walking distance , great for walkers on coastal walks , south stack lighthouse is also close and you can go and see the sea birds nesting , we fell in love with the place so much that after 1 day we rebooked next year for my 60th and also the cottage next door for my mom and dad , for shopping Holyhead town is not far away by car , and also the big supermarkets to do your food shopping would highly recommend to anyone

We keep returning with our dogs as it’s clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Gwyneth is a welcoming host and thank you for all the eggs. We will return when we can arrange it.

Telephone conversation prior to arrival with Mrs Campbell re arrival time and where to find key. On arrival excellent parking facilities close to cottage, key readily available. Personal greeting by owner (Mrs G Campbell) welcome pack of wine, cookies, tea, coffee and free range eggs. The cottage was cosy and warm, fully functioning kitchen with everything you need. The rooms were tastefully appointed. Will definitely be looking at booking one of the cottages at a later date.

Gwyneth was really helpful and introduced herself on our arrival. The farm has donkeys and cattle all around the cottages. But Gwyneth made two field's available for all of us holiday makers dogs to run free, which in all the time I've holidayed with Sykes was a first and was fabulous. Only thing I would say is maybe use a topper on the beds when there are pushed together so as you can not feel the mattresses piping in the middle.

Loved it perfect spot , stunning views , I was in Donkey heaven my morning therapy talking to them , cottage gorgeous perfect , Garden for dogs excellent, can’t fault it nearby shops about 10mins , beaches and coves nearby too

The cottage was the best we have ever stayed in,

We had such a relaxing stay here, the owner had us a nice bottle of wine, tea:coffee and biscuits waiting for us.

The views are to die for. We was lucky to witness a new born donkey when we was there, you can watch them from the property. Our dogs loved all the walks on the doorstep and the beach is only 5-10 min drive. We will definitely be returning.

A beautiful place to stay.

Great for walks from the door onto The Range and to the lighthouse. Superb for coastal walks. We have booked for a return visit next year!

A super find, dog friendly in our favourite spot on Anglesey, with a superb view, lovely owner and everything you need.

An immediate home from home and so rebooked without hesitation for next year. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Gwyneth has done a great job on getting everything right, and its effortlessly relaxed from arrival. Good quality, comfy and supportive mattresses are the icing on the cake to ensuring a relaxing stay, plus the wine on the patio helped a tad also :-) Thank you again.

Clean and very comfortable plus a great base for walks. We loved the addition of the donkeys on the farm. Our dogs were so calm and relaxed here. Gwyneth is a lovely host and we will be back next year. Thank you for a brilliant week.

We loved our stay at Y Wennol.

Our Cooper (the dog that doesn't like strangers) thought all his birthdays had come at once, having a huge field to safely run around in. The cottage was well equipped and cosy ,and the bed super comfy. Thank you to Gwyneth, for the bottle of wine, it was very much appreciated after our three and a half hour drive, also for the lovely fresh eggs. We have stayed in several holiday let's around the uk and I can honestly say this one is one of the best.

Lovely converted barn , this was our 2nd stay here & we’re back again in August and October .

Wonderful views from the cottage. Great sized living room/kitchen. Comfy super king-size bed. Lovely owner Gwyneth who made a field available for our 4 dogs to have a run around and provided milk and wine and brought us some eggs too! This is the 3rd time we've been here since last December and will be booking to come again very soon!

Beautiful setting and the weather was amazing for October we were blessed!

We had wonderful relaxing stay at Y Wennol.

A great place to either sit relax and do nothing or as a base to explore the area. The property totally met or expectations and the owner Gwyneth was a wonderful and welcoming host. Somewhere we would recommend and defiantly visit again.

Stunning views. Owner is available if needed. Lovely welcome tray & freshly laid eggs on tap. Perfect for hubby & I & our 2 German shepherds. I’ve already booked another 3 breaks away there for next year .

This was our 5th year coming to these cottages and again they didn't disappoint.

Gwyneth is so lovely and welcoming. The cottages are clean and cosy. No matter what the weather its always a stunning place to be. We will be back. The view of Holyhead Mountain is amazing x

Lovely property in a beautiful and peaceful location with donkeys and cows for company.

....and this means it's a little isolated, but that was perfect for us Owner on site and very helpful with any issues and full of information about the island One suggestion would be to add a welcome folder containing instructions for equipment in the cottage...tv, cooker, etc, and a list of local emergency contacts....vets, gp, etc Would recommend

It is a great property particularly if you like staying somewhere quiet and peaceful -- except for the occasional braying of donkeys :) The cottages are warm and well equipped for all you needs.

We have 3 dogs so the cottage is ideal with a walled in garden and plenty of nearby places to explore. The owner is always on hand to help out if needed. This is our fourth visit and we are returning in May. I think that speaks for itself!!

Everything was perfect!

The cottage is beautiful and plenty of room for us and 4 dogs. The view from the cottage was amazing. There was a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and a bottle of wine! It only took a few minutes for the cottage to heat up and was warm and cosy. We met Gwyneth the owner who was very friendly...nothing was too much trouble. We liked it that much we have already booked a another week in July....can't wait to go back!

Last visit the water pressure was low but that has now been sorted so all good

Everything is fantastic.

Great views. Lovely and quite. Nice property and very clean. Great value. Very friendly owner. Nice welcome pack. If we were being picky then the poor WiFi speed can be an issue if you want to watch anything on your tablet or phone. But if you want to get away and feel relaxed then you won't go wrong here. We have been here 5 times so far. So that says it all.

Absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to leave.

The cottage was even nicer than expected with amazing views and the field across from the drive was perfect for the dogs to run for the ball. We’ll definitely return again at some point

A perfect holiday.

Our second visit to this beautiful and peaceful cottage. The property has everything you need and is spotless. We had the perfect week with a 15 year old dog and a 16 week puppy, the enclosed garden ensured they were safe and we could relax knowing they couldn’t escape. Already booked our return visit.

This was our second visit to this property this time we were staying for two weeks and once again we have a lovely stay.

Debra welcomed us as Gwyneth was on holiday, but she popped round to see us when she returned. The welcome pack was lovely and the fresh milk a thoughtful extra. The addition of the donkeys to the livestock was very nice to see each morning and one of my dogs became quite friendly with one of them , the use of a couple of fields to exercise the dogs was also an unexpected treat for them to have safe free run. I can't rate this property and owner high enough. As expected it was fantastic and the weather was bright and sunny for the whole fortnight. Thank you for a lovely holiday

Lovely warm and comfortable cottage with a lovely owner who can’t do enough to help

This is one of our favourite doggy frienndly places to stay and our third trip back.

The owner is very helpful and friendly and the cottages are well kitted out with lovely views from the doorstep. Hoping it won't be too long before our fourth visit.

We enjoyed our stay very much.

Only minor problems on arrival which were quickly sorted. there were minor access problems due to road works but this did not spoil our stay. I would highly recomend the propery,especialy for anyone with dogs. The owner lives on site and is allways helpfull.Hope to see yoi again soon. Jeff and Pauline.

A beautiful Cottage in a perfect location .

The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because there seems to be an ongoing problem with the water pressure which made showering almost impossible, so much so that we left on the Tuesday of our stay . We were so disappointed at having to leave as we loved it there and we would certainly go back if the Water Pressure problem was resolved which I’m sure it will be . Gwyneth the owner was lovely and gave us our money back for the nights we didn’t stay.

Our third time at Bodwarren and as always no complaints whatsoever.

Gwyneth as always very welcoming, cottage comfortable, very clean and peaceful plus so well situated for getting to other places. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time cottage was lovely and clean in a beautiful location only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was because the water pressure was a bit hit and miss but overall all it was fab and Gwyneth was lovely would definitely come again soon I hope x

Had a couple of occasions with water low pressure or going off.

A brand new water supply was being installed as we left and the problem should be resolved quickly.

What a fabulous place to stay!

It was remote enough to enjoy the peace and tranquilty but, just a short drive away from places of interest. Plenty of walks, climbs and beautiful coastal views. The owner, Gwyneth, was really friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself was well equiped and was warm and snug. If we hadn't have had to get back for work we would definitely have stayed longer and the dogs loved it too! We would highly recommend Y Wennol and can't wait to return. Best wishes Gwyneth.

No soap in the bathroom.

No contact from the landlady until the last minute. No instructions for cooker/heating/wifi/local facilities. No cooker hood light bulb and worst of all, no corkscrew. And despite on departure, re keys, no acknowledgement. Rather disappointed with the whole experience.

Excellent cottage would book it again

We had a most enjoyable stay at Y Wennol,the place is very clean and comfortable with everything you need to make your stay a good one,the view from the property is amazing and as you are on a farm you are surrounded by fields and animals and the peace and quiet is just what you need for a relaxing time away from work.

.Anglesey is a great place to visit although ours was cut short by the terrible weather at the time of our visit,we did manage some great days out with plenty of brilliant places to walk with our dog,lots of beaches, woodland walks and a great forest(where you can see red squirrels),there is also a beach very close to the property which was good for the soaking wet days!We ate out most lunch times at various pubs in the area which were all friendly and the food good..(also dog friendly)The owner Gwyneth is lovely and makes you feel very at home and nothing is too much trouble,and she is very knowledgeable on Anglesey and places to visit.We will hopefully return another year but will choose a different month and catch Anglesey in the sun,Go on book this property you will not be disappointed..THANK YOU Gwyneth hope youre soon back in your own house ...

The photos and description were accurate. We enjoyed some amazing walks and loved the area.

Fantastic location.

Plenty of walking and sites to see. So peaceful. Always remember this is a working farm. Gets mucky when wet. As you would expect. Views are amazing. Gwyneth is very helpful and goes the extra mile. Will be going again most definitely. Loved our holiday.

Lovely cottage in a great location with a lovely owner.

The cottage was lovely, with everything you need and a few little extras. It is in a great location to visit all of Anglesey, lovely to sit out on the patio and listen to the peace and quite. Would we go back? Yep, already made the enquiry!

This cottage was spotless, up to date and simple decor, roomy, enclosed garden, one level and hard floors throughout.

Soft furnishings had been kept to minimum due to covid19 and the requirement to deep clean after each visit. Very suitable for taking a dog. The owner was unobtrusive but hospitable, popping round to check all ok and leaving much appreciated milk and eggs and offering suggestions of places to visit. Anglesey is the most beautiful holiday destination and there were so many coves and walks and places to visit, we did not have enough time to see everything we wanted to. Cant wait to go back.

I’ve been staying at Bodwarren for many years.

Under the current difficulties I wouldn’t stay anywhere else because I know I can rely on the cottages to be immaculately clean.

Lovely people, lovely views, too remote miles from anywhere.

Due to covid everything shut I think Sykes should have made more of an effort to move or refund holidays there was absolutely nothing to do so felt very bored at times.

The care and consideration from the owner was perfect.

Also the cottage itself far exceeded our expectations. Hoping to return soon.

It was a brilliant holiday, the cottage exceeded our expectations, the photos don't do it total justice.

It was very roomy and warm. Gwyneth is such a lovely lady, the wine biscuits tea and coffee on our arrival was such a nice gesture and fresh eggs halfway through the week was very thoughtful. The views were amazing. Week stayed on Holy Island all week going exploring each day. I would highly recommend this location to everybody. Both our dogs enjoyed themselves too.

This was our 4th visit to this cottage.

Directions to site are slightly inaccurate.

After turning right at the end of Porth Dafarch Road the distance to the farm entrance is nearer to 1.5 miles than 0.7. The cottage was perfect for us with 4 small dogs , the owner was very helpful and even the weather was kind.

A warm welcome from Gwyneth when we arrived and the eggs, milk, wine and biscuits were a lovely thought.

Everything you need in the kitchen. Large bedroom and bathroom. Cosy, peacefful and lovely views up to Holyhead mountain. Well placed for drives to Trearddur Bay, Rhosneigr and worth a drive over to Cemaes Bay and Red Wharf Bay. Great little park for walks at Penrhos and Breakwater and a lovely walk on the mountain up near South Stack. Would definitely return.

The property is described as a mid terrace, but the cottage is actually an end terrace.

The property was well equipped, extremely clean and tidy and I very much enjoyed my week there. Mrs Campbell was an excellent hostess. She gave me a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent location for someone looking for a peaceful holiday, but the cottages are located at the centre of a working farm, which although didn't bother me in the least bit might disturb some people. An excellent base from which to explore Anglesey and North Wales. Would definitely consider going back to this property again. Was very suitable for the dog as well being on one floor and having a front garden which was secure. Would recommend the property to friends.
