  • "Nice location, good clean cottage good for a family with a dog."

    Feel I should let the owner know that one of the top steps on the spiral staircase was loose and maybe leave the boiler accessible as a lot of people in Wales like to walk in the mountains whatever the weather and it would of been good to be able to dry our clothes. Other than that it was a lovely stay, so much so that we have booked to return in 6 weeks. Stewart and family

    Hi Stewart Thank you for your feedback. We will get somebody to have a look at the outside stair case. The thermostat to work the heating is in the lounge so that you can turn the heating on and off as you wish, the boiler is left on at all times.   • "A very pleasant property just 15 minutes walk from the centre."

    Only a few of gripes and both probably aimed towards older people, the stairs are pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs

  • "The cottage was lovely and well appointed."

    However it would have been helpful to let us know that building works were going on directly opposite! We came for a peaceful break over the Bank Holiday weekend.. the builders worked most of the holiday with loud music and burning fires throughout the day. Also dog barking everytime we vent into back garden admittedly it was told to be quiet eventually. The property was clean but and I have mentioned this regarding other properties please ask your cleaner to vacuum around the edges especially in the bathroom. Also as this is a pet friendly accommodation I wouid strongly advise investing in a Dyson pet vacuum… bit sad I know but always bring one with us and it filled up in no time with black dog hairs. This is an honest appraisal of our time here. Beautiful area with fantastic walks just 5 mins from door with breathtaking scenery. Thank you

    Hi there Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the delay in responding to you. We visited the property after you left on Sunday to check on the points you raised. We have spoken to the cleaner who does use a Dyson but is going to pay more attention to the areas closest to the skirting board in the future. Regarding the building work opposite where the house is being renovated, we have been assured that this is now at the final stages. Up until now, we have not received any complaints over this, possibly due to it being at the front of the house so guests using the kitchen, sunroom and back garden would be unaffected and perhaps because the builders have not been particularly noisy up to now, I am sorry that this was not the case whilst you were there.   • "We had a lovely stay at Dola in February half term."

    A family with 2 children and a dog. The cottage was perfect for what we needed. The location was fab being a 20ish min walk away from the centre of Betwys-y-coed. We also enjoyed several dog walks from the doorstep too. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch to start off our holiday. We would definitely return.

    Close enough to walk into Betws coed in 10 minutes but far enough out to be quiet. Very dog friendly with a nice enclosed garden.

  • "Well located cottage in Betws-y-Coed, easy walk into the village, river walks close by and good road access to LLandudno etc."

    The accommodation is excellent, if you have dogs there are wooden and tile floors which is perfect. More should be mentioned of the cellar games room, great pool table and table football, plus lovely and warm. The cottage is well decorated and has everything you require for your stay.

  • "Beautiful little house, perfect for our needs."

    We’re a couple, and think the house may have been a little cramp for four. The garden is lovely and well maintained. We enjoyed beautiful country walks right from the doorstep. There are lovely pubs, restaurants and craft shops only a 15 minute walk away. We will definitely be back!
