  • "Hafan Fach was exactly what I wanted."

A comfortable, welcoming base to visit family. Found exactly what I wanted using the filters on the site. Directions were good, got me right to the door. Place was accurately described. The hosts had made it very welcoming & the additional touch of basic provisions was very much appreciated. Apartment was extremely clean. During the stay, there was some extreme weather & a power outage. The host was in touch immediately offering assistance, torches & checked in later to make sure all was well. This was most welcome as a solo traveler. Would certainly recommend this apartment & would definitely stay again.

Thank you for your kind comments and for being such a great guest. You are most welcome back at Hafan Fach. Property Owner

  • "Very clean and deceptively spacious annex."

The kitchen is compact and so the kitchen work surface area is quite small so to have a large coffee machine on the worktop seemed a waste of space? There is a small double electric hotplate which we managed to steam salmon on using a colander and a pan but the pans were huge. A couple of smaller pans with fitting lids would be more useful. The bedding and towels were nice quality.and importantly to us the annex was immaculately clean. Short drive (too far to walk) to the car park for the walk up Moel Famau.

Thank you for your feedback and bringing the boiler issue to our attention. The engineer has been out and found the pressure to be too high. It’s now fixed but sorry you had to endure the noise. I’m hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
