2 Sea View Cottage

TV, no signal daily, missing Wimbledon and Football, not happy Numerious cobwebs throughout under side table, TV, behind sitting room door, plus bathroom, with dirty toilet brush.

Floor under dresser in bunk bed room was atrocious found a very dirty eye drop bottle plus fluff covered black bin bag. Under dew bin in fridge I sponged out into their large saucepan 3/4 amount of water with floating insects! Safety issues : hand rail on wall needed to get into bath for a shower. Cushions tied on dining chairs are somewhat bigger than the actual seat base therefore diseaving. Rail could be helpful to get up and onto lawn. A strip of foam (as over bathroom door) under china/glass cabinet, as constant use of using dish causes concer.n

Lovely cottage in an outstanding location.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Only a hundred metres or so from the clifftop for fantastic walks and paths to the beach. Easy access to the local amenities including shops, restaurants, takeaways and the brewery tap. Well Recommended.

Absolutely lovely little cottage, everything you need, great location and lovely and warm on arrival which was great.

We loved you could walk to the beach and this area of wales has stunning scenery. Our only criticism was the mattresses which are old spring ones and not at all comfortable.

Absolutely loved our week at 2 Seaview Cottage in Nefyn.

The location is amazing, so peaceful and we were treated to some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It's only a 5 minute walk to cliff top path and down to the beach. The cottage is charming and the double bed is very comfy. We loved sitting out in the garden catching the afternoon sun after a day of walks and exploring, and our dog has loved it too.

Unfortunately the house wasnt very clean, particularly the floors downstairs didnt look to have been hoovered and even the pots in the cupboard were dirty.

The bathroom wasnt too clean either. The house was well equipped and the fire was great. We wouldnt look to stay here again.

Lovely little cottage in a superb location.

Fantastic coastal walks literally on your doorstep. Plenty of crockery etc. if we had some garden furniture ie table and chairs it would have been perfect as we had some gorgeous evenings. All in all we had a great time. Thank you.

We were disappointed on arrival to find a wall light in the rear garden was smashed and the glass was on the patio area.

We swept up the glass, but my dog could have easily cut his paws. I reported it to Sykes and someone visited the property the same evening, which was excellent service. Thank you! Also, the rear courtyard garden was not enclosed, as stated in the property particulars. We put some garden chairs across the gap but it was not an ideal solution. The property is in an ideal location for the beach and is comfortable.

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a superb location.

The cottage was quaint and in a beautiful setting.

We made the most of the area and enjoyed some beautiful walks on the coastal path and the beaches. We ate at the pub on the beach, the beach cafe on the slope and the Cliffs restaurant.All of the places went out of their way to enhance our visit The cottage was homely. We found the stairs very steep, especially for carrying bags to the bedroom. Maybe give a warning for elderly visitors in the future. The kitchen was adequate and was ideal for 2. It could be a push for 4. The location of the bin and the dishwasher needs rethinking.A sweeping brush or just a dustpan and brush would be handy for the hallway and kitchen. The log burner was temperamental, but once alight it made a massive difference. The wall heaters could do with timers as they were on whilst we were out which must have been expensive. The plug in room scents was very strong and caused an allergic reaction. Maybe have less , or none as it could trigger asthmatic attack . We felt a little uncomfortable with the lack of blinds or curtains in the bathroom. As we had very good weather for February we were out exploring. The local people were friendly and we took advantage of having many places to ourselves. This was an unknown area for us and we would recommend it to others.

Easy access down road or public footpaths to the beach and local amenities. Grounds are kept immaculately with a lovely big pond and seating. Owners very accommodating. Will be returning.

A beautiful cottage and a perfect location for anyone wanting peace and relaxation.

The bed is very comfortable and the cottage is well equipped. The sun rises directly behind the cottage and sets directly in front of it. It's a 5 minute walk to the coastal path which has stunning views. We tried the Indian restaurant, the local chippy and had a very nice kebab... all very nice.

This Cottage was expensive so I expected a high level of cleanliness and comfort etc.

The cottage was dusty. The kitchen needed a good clean. You have to move the rubbish bin to be able to stack the dishwasher!I found remnants of breakfast cereal under the sofa! The bathroom was cleanish but the floor was very dusty. The seal on the shower door was broken. The bed linen was ok but one of the pillow cases was marked with black streaks. Towels were small. The chest of drawers in the main bedroom only had one empty drawer. The windows were dirty inside and out. Instruction booklets for microwave, cooker etc were not evident. I eventually found the booklets hidden in a drawer in the kitchen. No instructions as to what to do with general rubbish and recycling. The cottage is in a lovely position and very near the beach but needs to be to be throughly cleaned before guests arrive.

Amazing location and beautiful little quaint cottage, will definitely book again.

Stayed here for the second ,6-13 Oct .

Our first time was in June , on that occasion we did have to complain regarding the stained pillows etc . This had been rectified to a good standard . Enjoyed the stay on both occasions

The cottage was in a fantastic location and the local scenery was beautiful.

Loved the duck pond. However on arrival we we’re slightly disappointed that there was no welcome pack and the cottage wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Long dead spider in the kitchen and the bin was dirty. Also we did experience a leak on our first morning from the upstairs bathroom to the dining room. A plumber was called out by the owner and arrived mid afternoon. He told us the sealant around the bath/shower and the basin needed replacing so hopefully when that is done no one else will experience the problem again. The bathroom did smell very musty. We also thought it would benefit from having a roller blind attached to the window for extra privacy. We also struggled to work the microwave, oven and hob because there was no instructions in the property for them. Again it would be really helpful to have a folder with a set of instructions on how to use certain equipment and also where and when to recycle and dispose of rubbish etc Overall the cottage was very comfortable and is in an ideal location , just needs abit more help and guidance for its guests and some TLC

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location.

Lots of beaches and cliff top walks nearby ... kitchen had a really good oven and dishwasher...The heating system was perfect, kept the cottage lovely and warm. The duck pond and surrounding area was immaculately kept.. The only downside was the cleanliness of the cottage ... dust all round the lounge and the sofa cushions had seen better days and needed a wash... A mop and bucket would be good as all the floors are carpet free downstairs. I bought a pack of disposable floor wipes just to maintain the cleanliness. Simple little touches is all that is required. And a bit of TLC ... I would recommend staying at the cottage.

Very quiet in a beautiful area with some really nice walks along the coast path and not far from the beach.The only real negative was that the property is described as having a smart TV. Unfortunately this is inaccurate. The TV is terrestrial freeview only.

Firstly, we have to say the location of the property was superb for our needs.

Unfortunately, the cottage had a "not very clean feel" as soon as we walked in. We weren't sure what it was, as the cottage on first impression was very well presented, taking into consideration the age. Our initial feel about the property was unfortunately confirmed during our stay. The first thing that came to light was when we removed a shelf from the fridge to fit in the provisions we took with us, and we noticed an open carton of almond milk, and more disturbingly mould growing on the back of one of the shelves. Then whilst siting in the lounge we noticed quite a few "bits" on the floor (but unfortunately we couldn't address this as we were unable to get any of the vacuum cleaners to work); and when we removed the bin liner from the kitchen bin on leaving, the bin had obviously not been washed for a while. The bed was very comfortable but when we stripped the bed on leaving, I noticed the mattress protector and duvet were both stained. We didn’t like the large rug in the bathroom and felt that the tiles were more hygienic, but we appreciate that these may become slippery when wet. It would have been useful to have cleaning products and cloths etc in the bathroom to clean the bath after use. On the subject of cleaning products, the bare minimum left for our use i.e. one washing machine tablet, a tiny bit of washing up liquid in the bottom of the bottle, the same for the handwash and one loo roll just smacked of miserly. For us the attention to detail by the cleaners, and the measly provisions let this property down.

Lovely cottage, generously equipped - although I must admit the hob remained a mystery to me!

Lovely enclosed and sunny rear garden and walks straight from the door. It took me a while to find the turning - the hedges were overgrown and I couldn't see the landmark bungalow on the corner - but once found it was perfect. Would definitely go back again.

Really enjoyed our stay, cosy comfortable little house, ideal for beaches coastal paths, would recommend to family and friends.

Only one little gripe the recycling bins were over flowing when we arrived bottles all over ground in front garden where bins are kept.

The only negative thing about the holiday is that the pond outside was empty.

We were looking forward to breakfast with the ducks. Not really anything the property owners have any control over.

Beautiful cottage, tranquil, virtually no cars.

Returned from last year. New kitchen is fantastic! Option of outdoor toilet very handy if needed. Shame the duck pond had dried up due to weather but hopefully will come back through the seasons. Happy restful stay again. Thank you!

Wonderful location and the cottage was perfect. One small thing an ironing board would be useful but appreciate there might not be anywhere to store it not a major thing at all.

cottage in idilyc location , advertised as having a washing machine didn't and the cottage was absolutely filthy , would have thought that in these times we are living in cleanliness would have been a high priority but not in this property

Had everything we needed. Beautiful area, near beaches, mountains, fabulous walks and lots of places of interest near. Cottage, gardens and surrounding area are beautiful kept. Well had a great relaxing holiday. Thank you so much and we will be back. Highly recommend to others as a great holiday destination.

The cottage is in a great location and could score highly except for a few issues.

The cottage is lacking a few basic items such as a high chair and a freezer. The kitchen needs to be restocked with glassware/utensils etc and I’d warn against putting anything glass in the fridge door, particularly with a tiled floor which should probably be linoleum. A modernised and refitted kitchen (with modern cooker) would make this place 100% better. If that happened we’d definitely be back. The place wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived, which might just mean giving your cleaners an extra hour or two to be more thorough.

There were lots of positives to this cosy cottage , including the great location.

However, we thought that there should be more warning about the very narrow lane with a extremely tight corner which we found out was impossible for supermarket deliveries. And for the price , I think there should be a freezer and little details , like only being provided with one toilet roll etc was disappointing.
