The property

This mid-terrace rests within a row of three cottages enjoying a tranquil location, overlooking a lake with wild ducks and geese, halfway between Morfa Nefyn and Nefyn.

Just a short stroll to the beach, 2 Sea View Cottage offers an idyllic retreat for families wanting to escape to the North Wales coast, as well as being under an hour’s drive from the Snowdonia National Park.

After a day of coastal walks, look forward to unwinding in the sitting room, home to a traditional décor, this room makes a lovely spot to wind down each evening in front of the multi-fuel stove, or gather round the dining table and enjoy a delicious feast, prepared in the galley kitchen that comes equipped with a selection of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and even a washing machine so you can wash your muddy clothes straight away.

Seek comfort in one of the delightful bedrooms, with a double and adult bunk on offer, both neutrally styled and served by a bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for the day.

Spend some time out at the front, taking in your surroundings whilst enjoying a picnic at the bench, before feeding the ducks and geese the leftovers of lunch.

The town of Nefyn makes a superb holiday base all year round, hosing a good selection of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as its own sandy dog-friendly beach, with idyllic rock pools to explore as well as being sheltered by the stunning Nefyn Headland, opening up miles of picturesque walking routes.

Brush up on local history at the Llŷn Maritime Museum before enjoying some traditional fish and chips whilst strolling along the beachfront.

The golden beaches of both Abersoch and Pwllheli are within easy reach too, the first being extremely popular with families for its safe swimming and variety of watersports, while slightly further afield you can find the charming town of Porthmadog, home to even more eateries offering something for every taste, as well as a station for the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, a must-see for the keen trainspotter offering a different way to absorb the unspoilt surroundings.

2 Sea View Cottage makes a fantastic touring base for exploring so many coastal and countryside attractions.
