Cuddfan

Our stay at Cuddfan was wonderful.

The cottage is in a perfect location for visiting all the beautiful areas of North Wales. It was very well equipped, and the beds were fantastically comfortable. My only negative comment is that the keysafe is placed quite high up, and being a bit of a "shorty," I struggled a bit opening it up. I fully recommend the cottage and will certainly return there.

The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed.

Our only observation was that the lighting was slightly inadequate mostly affecting my vision impaired partner but I also would have appreciated more light in the kitchen.

Very nice, clean and well equipped cottage a few mins walk from pubs, shop and bus stops. Ideal for walking with dogs. No problem as usual with parking, normally a space outside within a few yards of the door. Definitely be back when walking the hills again.

Our only complaint would be the disposal of general rubbish and recycling.

Bins were full on arrival, and we had no idea when they would be emptied. As it it happens they were still full on departure, meaning a problem for the next guests. On a positive note,cottage was great location for walkers situated in a small quiet friendly village.

We enjoyed staying at Cuddfan.

It was cosy and had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds and a good shower. It's also a good location for exploring mountains, beaches and heritage sites. It might be an idea to put details of bin collection day in the guide. There was a build up of recycling and food waste.we could have put the bins out but didn't know when. We saw neighbours bringing back empty bins one evening- too late by then!

Very short notice stay here due to a issue at my booked property nearby which Sykes sorted out in very short order.

I've stayed here and reviewed Cuddfan twice before during the latter part of last year and it's an ideal place to base yourself for walking Snowdonia. Many thanks to the owner for the very short notice access. I'll no doubt be back again this year.

My second stay here with my 2 dogs on a walking holiday.

Cuddfan is very well equipped and ideally situated for bus links and amenities around the local area. Will definitely visit again next time I walk the area.

Very well kept and equipped cottage in an ideal location to explore Snowdonia.

Small enclosed garden at the back is ideal for the dogs. Parking not an issue as normally a space on the roadside at the front. 2 min walk to shop and pubs and stops. Only thing lacking in the kitchen is a washing machine which is handy for longer stays. Otherwise all great. Definitely stay here gain when I'm up next.

The cottage is lovely and has everything you need clean and comfortable and wouldn’t hesitate to re book, there is so much to do in the local area and upto an hours drive away

Lovely cottage in a lovely location

This cottage has everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in North Wales.

It was clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable. Ideal location to visit so many places. Dogs were happy with the various local walks in the village. Hopefully we will be back.

Fabulous little cottage which had everything needed for our stay.

Following on regarding comments about the vacuum - it just needed emptying and brushes de-haired which we did so it was a great cleaner. We would suggest a pair of scissors for the kitchen. We would recommend and hopefully return. Well done being your first year.

A lovely cottage, very comfortable home from home with everthing we needed for self catering and plenty of space for 4 people.

The location was ideal, quiet street, less than a mile out of town and easy to travel to local attractions. There were plenty of parking spaces. The shop, 2 pubs, good chip shop and restaurant only 1 minute walk away, just around the corner. Ideal place to stay, would definately return.

Lovely cottage, owners have made the most of a small space and felt likely plenty of room for family of 4 and dog.

Handy for exploring north Wales and 10min drive to beach for swimming and 5mins into Porthmadog. Would come again.

It needed a kitchen bin, we had trouble with flies, could not keep the doors open, not too sure if it was the false grass, maybe needed a clean,

Nice comfortable cottage in a great location close to two local pubs, a very nice restaurant, very good chippie and a local store

Good clean homely property with all facilities required to have a good holiday.

Sofas were not very comfortable after a long day walking. Would be good to have something a bit better.
