Bwthyn Cae'r Efail

We had a wonderful week again with Teleri and Sion.

They are the perfect hosts, warm and friendly, and their two lovely boys. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more and have booked for next year already. Thank you both for a great restful week away from usual pressures, the best place to relax, so quiet and peaceful. Roll on next year!

We both enjoyed our stay .

Beautiful scenery. Great location with good internet. Definitely recommend.

This property is perfect for two people.

The cleanliness was second to none and there is nothing that it hasn’t got. The nice little welcome pack on arrival is a nice touch. The owners Sion and Teleri and their two boys are on site and very friendly. Thank you for let us use your wonderful property. We will be returning.x

We had a great stay.

The accommodation was super clean and had lots of thoughtful touches. The welcome basket and fresh milk from the local dairy was very much appreciated. The hosts were super welcoming. Cameas Bay was only a short drive away as was Parys Mountain. The location was great and was perfect for the 2 of us. Thanks for a super stay.

Bwthyn Cae'r Efail was a fantastic place to stay for our time on Anglesey.

Situated in a lovely rural setting it allowed us to explore the island. The house was clean and fully equipped and a relaxing place to return to after a day out. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would recommend a stay there to anyone! Thank you for a lovely holiday accomodation.

Wonderful holiday base.

Such a peaceful rural setting. Walking distance to history, heritage and archaeology. Quick drive to charming coastal villages and coastal walk. Our hosts let us get on with our break in a comfortable and well provisioned, modern house. So nice to leave the local milk, yoghurt and provisions to let us settle in. Lots of very clear instructions and local guides. Had a fantastic holiday thanks to wonderful accomodation.

What a find!

Fantastic place, everything you could need. Very modern and clean, looks beautiful. We loved spending the evenings on the lawn with a picnic, overlooking the neighbours (sheep and cows)! Lovely quiet location but still close to everything. Some lovely coastal walks nearby, although the whole of the island is very accessible from here. Great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Absolutely would stay here again if coming to Anglesey for another break away and would definitely recommend it!

A modern, comfortable and clean property that uses it's space well to provide both a good sized living area as well as bedroom space.

The property is next door to the owners although is not overlooked so there is plenty of privacy. The owners themselves, a kind and lovely couple, are on hand if required.

This is our second visit here and it certainly won’t be the last!

We definitely plan to return hopefully every year. The property is spotless and so comfortable. The owners are delightful and very welcoming. It is a little gem of a place. Thank you both so very much.

A lovely place to stay in a peaceful part of Anglesey.

Easy access to the coast and nearby amenities. The accommodation has been designed and equipped to a high standard. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We would love to return.

At first sight I was taken back by the cleanliness of the property, possibly the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in .

And I’m really fussy about these things. There was everything you could possibly need. It is in a lovely quiet location. It was all I hoped for as I had booked it for our golden wedding anniversary, and we were not let down.

Lovely property.

Great rural location. Attentive owners that live next door. Lots of parking space. Central anglesey location. Really Enjoyed the holiday.

A beautiful well presented cottage all you need for a holiday and a lovely part of the island

Lovely place!

Had a relaxing week, very comfortable with amazing views. Perfect location for days out around Angelssey. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Such a lovely family live next door but still feels private. We would return and highly recommend ☺️

Cottage was well presented and spotlessly clean, the owners live on site and were very friendly.

Wonderfully peaceful and quiet due to it's location down a country lane. However we struggled a bit with the limited headroom upstairs in the bedroom but the large Velux roof windows let in lots of bright natural daylight and operated very easily and smoothly. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing little place with everything you need, comfortable, very clean and set in beautiful open countryside and if your lucky the cows come to visit beyond the fence.

Sion and Teleri were brilliant hosts going above and beyond in making sure we were all ok. This is definitely a must.

The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean,a wonderful setting and a really lovely family who own it,they could not have been more helpful.

Loved it.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, everything you need.

We loved the peace and quiet of the location. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts - perfect.

Just back from a great week in this gorgeous property, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the hosts Teleri and Sion were very friendly and helpful, thank you for the welcome gifts.

We can highly recommend this property.

This was our second visit to Bwthyn Cae'r Efail, still 5* Lovely hosts and thank you for the welcome pack

Myself and David absolutely love this place, we've been to many over the years but none better than this.

The owners are fantastic and couldn't be any more friendly and helpful., they leave lots of lovely goodies which we appreciate. We come away every time missing it so much ,counting down until we're back.again x Marie and David x

We absolutely love this property, we spent 2 weeks there at Christmas and had to go back and it didn't let us down, we never wanted to leave.

Hosts are brilliant. We've stayed at many properties over the years, this ranks at number 1.

We absolutely loved our stay ,everything we wanted and more.

We appreciated all the goodies that were left for us . It was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. The owners were fantastic and friendly and so helpful, would definitely recommend this place .

We had a lovely stay at Bwthyn Cae'r Efail.

The cottage was warm, immaculately clean, and so peaceful. Lovely hosts, would highly recommend 5*

Enjoyed our stay again.

Welcome pack was very appreciated. Warm and cosy. Peaceful and quiet with the occasional farmer going past with a cheerful wave.

We were greeted by a very warm welcome at the house.

It is a lovely place, very modern and cosy at the same time. Perfect for two people. Extremely quiet and peaceful and close enough to the A5025 to venture out over the whole island. We would have loved to stay longer and highly recommend it.

This is the second time we have stayed here because it is a perfect cottage and location for a couple to use as a base to explore Anglesey.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable in a lovely rural location and Sion and Teleri are wonderful hosts. Anglesey itself is a great place to visit with some fantastic beaches, great walking and a lot of historical and geological interest. It is also possible and inexpensive to catch the ferry to Dublin for the day from nearby Holyhead. We thoroughly recommend it.

Truly wo nxerful so enjoyed stay hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

Amazing property we actually thought we were the first people to stay in it as it was absolutely immaculate!

We are already looking at dates for next year to return again. The bedroom head space is a little tight because of the roof shape so if you’re over 6 foot tall it wouldn’t be ideal. We are both only about 5 foot 2 and 5 foot 7 so it was ok for us. We loved the 2 wind turbines outside so spent a lot of the evening looking out of the velux roof watching them. We called them our alien friends! The sun rises and the sunsets were amazing. Excellent value for money. Although we only saw the lady owner once she was lovely. Everlasting memories. We loved it here.

A spotlessly clean well equipped comfortable property in a lovely quiet rural location.

Friendly, helpfull property owners on site if needed. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it without hesitation.

This is a lovely, modern, extremely well maintained property.

It is very spacious downstairs. The bedroom in the attic is low on headroom at the sides. The views of the countryside are wonderful. The owners are very friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. The property is located in a beautiful, rural, quiet location. It is very easy to get to Camaes Bay and other areas of Anglesey.

The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a beautiful area.

The owners were very friendly and could not do enough for us. They were very thoughtful too. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning next year for another visit.

Our main concern was the sleeping environment.

The bedroom is in the roof space of the converted building, and this has resulted in severe height restriction. The only area where a person of average height can comfortably stand erect is immediately under the apex of the roof. All other movements in the bedroom, for instance getting in and out of bed or getting clothes and dressing, resulted in having to crouch down, or go down on one’s knees, to try and avoid hitting one's head against the sloping sides of the roof, with some very sharp edges around the roof windows. This cannot be considered other than harmful to the body, or at best, downright unnecessarily awkward. During our stay, despite significant vigilance, we hit our heads on many occasions. nowhere in the description of the property on the website does it say that there is severely restricted headroom in the roof space bedroom. there are 2 photographs which do not illustrate this is any definitive way. this is serious misreprentation by omission. we consider that the lack of proper headroom is a significant health and safety risk. if the lack of headroom had been cited, we would not have booked the property. we can say that, if arrangements had not been made concerning our homeward journey, we would not have stayed for the full booked week. we passed our concerns to the onsite owners but remedial action was clearly not available for this problem.

We enjoyed our stay here it was very clean and homely and a very good base camp for exploring Anglesey which we enjoyed doing

Amazing conversion with everything we needed, Beverley is already shopping for an automatic bin and some of that lovely bedding Thank you

Gorgeous modern cottage with all necessary facilities.

The directions given were a little confusing, even satnav gave up but we got there in the end.We were able to travel to all parts of the island quite easily. The bed was really comfortable although the owners might consider a lighter weight duvet for the summer months. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

Bwthyn Cae'r Efail is a stunning little property.

Everything is immaculate and spotlessly clean throughout. It has everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. The downstairs is roomy and light and has big patio doors which gives a lovely airy feel to the room. A large tv is situated on the wall and it also has a dining table and chairs for those nights in when you may want to cook a meal in the very well equipped kitchen. The bedroom has 4 Velux roof lights which not only allow lots of light to pour in but also gives more than enough ventilation, blackout blinds are fitted on each which is ideal. As with any loft style bedroom the ceiling height upstairs is restricted but it didn't prove to be a problem to us, you just adapt to it. The bed is super comfy and is furnished with beautiful bed linen. Tileri and Sion, the hosts at Bwthyn Cae'r Efail, were lovely. They were really easy to get on with, and as they lived in the adjacent property, they were always at hand should you need them. The property is set in a quiet part of the area but within easy reach of the coast it doesn't take long to explore the nearby villages and towns. We have found a little diamond of a property and will be hoping to return there as soon as we possibly can.

A beautiful modern, spotlessly clean cottage in a lovely quiet area of Angelsey.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful with lots of advice for visiting the area. A big thank you to them for the extras, I.e. milk and yogurts from the local dairy. Despite the changeable weather we enjoyed our visit to charming Angelsey.

Excellent cottage, clean, comfortable and in a lovely rural area.

Very quiet and relaxing with good views. The owner and family were very friendly and welcoming. The weather was very good, we couldn’t have had a better few days holiday.

A modern, extremely well thought out property, finished to a high standard with a quality finish and attention to detail.

Fantastic property.

Owners very friendly and helpful. Everything in the property was so new and modern. Enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Really nice property, spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location.

I would highly recommend this cottage.

Sion, and Teleri were the perfect hosts.

We were made very welcome and on arrival our welcome pack provided was a lovely surprise. The milk in the fridge Teleri was delicious and we took it out with us for refills from Llefrith Nant Dairy up the road. What a great idea. Sion, the property is of the highest spec. Very comfortable. Superb.Dawn and John Miller

A really nice place, ideal for just the 2 of us.

Very comfortable, clean and functional.

Beautiful place with everything you needed thought of.

Area is lovely and quiet and the owners were available if needed and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Really lovely property finished to high spec, very clean.

Great views around property, nice if you enjoy walking.Perfect for a relaxing break approx 3 miles to nearest beach and coastal path, other places to visit within reasonable distance.Family owners live on site and are very accomodating and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, and would revisit.

We enjoyed a very happy stay in Sean and Terrie's holiday cottage.

The property is brand new, well-fitted out; warm, and comfortable. The facilities are excellent. It was nice to know that the owners were nearby but they were never intrusive. Anglesey is a friendly island in the North of Wales and although the weather was a bit unkind we had a very pleasant stay. South Stack; the Anglesey Sea Zoo; Beaumaris Castle, and the Menai Strait were interesting but we missed a lot and will be back. t.

We felt it would have been nice if the heated towel rail in the shower room was on or possibly it was independent of the main heating system so we could control it as the heating is controlled from the property owners house.

very clean and well furnished property host very friendly and we loved our stay but we had cut it short because of news from home .

. But will consider returning in the future and enjoy more time there and weather did not help thank owner for a very nice property

A wonderful stay in a spotless clean apartment.

Comfy bed and superb views The owners where very helpful and attentive.

It was such a lovely well kept place it’s just we didn’t realise just how remote it was, the tiny country lanes make it a little difficult to get to but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place to stay with beautiful views all around

We had a lovely stay and definitely recommend.

Superb property and location, very friendly owners, absolutely spotless throughout, will definitely return, total relaxation

It's impossible to recommend Cae'r Efail more highly!

Everything that one hopes for is in abundance and helped in no small measure by the friendly and caring support of the hosts. Needless to say we will be booking another stay!

If an immaculate, pristine clean and tranquil location is what you are hoping for, this IS the place for you!

We have stayed in many self catering properties - never we will meet one that exceeds this. Exceptional for all the right reasons! And at such a more than reasonable price. The owners go beyond the call of duty to provide you with a holiday that was memorable for all the right reasons. The equipment furnishings etc are first-rate. In essence, if you by-pass it, you will have missed out on a perfect property in which to stay - so book it now!

This is a lovely new build.

Built by the owners, it is a well considered property in the heart of rural Anglesey, with views across Parys mountain. The wild life is off the scale, from Hares hopping down the drive in the morning to Foxes wandering past at night and buzzards soaring overhead. The spring hedgerows for evening walks are full of campion and buttercups, cow parsley and miles of snowy hawthorne. There is very little light pollution at night, so the night skies are spectacular. The cottage is in easy reach of coastal areas so plenty of coastal walks as well. Nature reserve at Cemaes and amazing beaches at Moelfre. We can't think of a better place to spend a few days of relaxation. The cottage is modern, well equipped and comfortable. We feel like we have had a big Anglesey hug. Thank you S & T and your family for making us so welcome.
