Description

Rhiwlas is a delightful cottage settled in the seaside village of Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey, offering off-road parking, stylish interiors, and a sociable layout suited to families or groups of friends.

Positioned close to the coast, this inviting property provides an excellent base for enjoying time by the sea and exploring the surrounding island.

Step inside and discover a tiled hallway leading to the sitting room, where an open fire forms a welcoming focal point for evenings spent gathered together.

Just beyond, a separate snug offers an additional place to retreat, complete with a woodburning stove and ample seating, perfect for slower moments away from the main group.

The kitchen/diner brings everyone together, featuring a Range cooker and ample space to prepare and enjoy meals, whether it is a quick breakfast before heading to the beach or a shared evening meal around the dining table.

A breakfast bar provides a more casual spot to sit, while outside, the enclosed rear garden offers a gravelled area where four-legged companions can roam, alongside the added convenience of an outdoor heated shower for washing off sandy toes after a day on the shore.

The five bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged to suit a variety of groups, including a king-size, double, single with pull-out extension, adult bunk room, and a second-floor king-size, with several benefitting from en-suite shower facilities.

This flexible layout ensures everyone has a place to settle at the end of the day.

Within Rhosneigr, you will find a selection of shops and eateries within easy walking distance, as well as a sandy beach known for watersports and coastal walks.

Nearby Newborough offers access to Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Island, where walking trails and coastal scenery combine beautifully.

In Beaumaris, explore Beaumaris Castle, stroll along the pier, and enjoy views across the Menai Strait, while Holyhead provides attractions such as South Stack Lighthouse, the Breakwater Country Park, and maritime history at the harbour.

For a coastal escape filled with variety, Rhiwlas is a wonderful choice on the Isle of Anglesey.

Fantastic holiday accommodation, everything we needed and the property was very clean.

The beds were very comfortable and were the best of any property we have stayed in. Location was perfect, right next to the beach and a short walk to the shops and pubs. The only suggestion I would make is to provide instructions for the TV. I figured out the settings but some people may struggle. Would definitely book again.

The house is lovely and welcoming and in a perfect spot!

Unfortunately one of the showers wasn't working at all and the hot water was rather temperamental.. On contacting Sykes we only got an AI response and no one called back as promised. It didn't matter to us but if you came and everyone was expecting their own shower - this might be a problem. Ultimately we would still come back as we love the location with closeness to the beach!

I have been to rhosnieger many times, and stayed in alot of rentals.

The location is good, close to beach access roads, close to the golf course, and a short walk to the main street area where ther are a few shops and lovely coffee shops and eating places.. The main one is Sandy Mount House. excellent food and lovely Decour... We went in a group of seven and a dog. the accommodation was nice enough, clean enough, and has a nice large kitchen to enable you all to sit, chat, drink, and eat.. Only thing, and its like all rentals really with a high turn over of guests.. in places it looks abit tired.. and abit neglected.. But would i stay there again.. YES.. And for these reasons... 1) Comfortable. 2) Location. 3) Layout of rooms. 4) Price was good.. Thank You for our enjoyable stay...
