Sandy House

We had a really good stay at the Sandy House.

The accommodation is fabulous and very well presented, the welcome basket and other personal touches were very kind and much appreciated. The teens loved the games room!

A beautiful space very relaxed and comfortable.

Well and thoughtfully equipped. Though we didn’t need them loved the books in the bunk bedroom. The beach and all facilities a short walk away. We had a super time, much fun and laughter. Thank you, Rosemary, John , Maddi and Noah

A superb property in Rhosneigr.

We’ve stayed at many holiday lets and this is up there with the best. If anything the photos don’t do it justice. Wonderfully comfortable and an ideal location. The terrace is a sun trap if you are lucky enough to get the weather. Owners were extremely helpful, not that we had any problems. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay here for a week.

The property was very comfortable, and looked even more impressive in person! The cinema room was a fantastic addition, and we loved the view of the lake. I would love to return here again for another holiday in the future.

The property is spacious, well located and really caters for a large family. The owners really went the extra mile when the cinema tv screen had a fault to address quickly. Very much appreciated. Hope to return soon. Many thanks

Sandy House was a superb holiday property.

Perfect bedroom accommodation for two families and the cinema room was a massive hit with the youngsters! Thank you for the welcome gifts which were appreciated by the adults - we also loved the fluffy towels! Great utility room and outdoor space meant that this house worked really well for us. The table was a little tight for us all but we would not have sacrificed the huge comfy sofa for that. A great holiday and thanks again Caroline!

We stayed at Sandy House for a week from 3-10 August.

We are a family of 5 with 3 under 5, and Maggie the dog. Sandy House is on a small cul-de-sac off a quiet road which means privacy and a minimum of foot and road traffic noises - bliss when you’ve arrived from a town. It also meant that the children could ride their scooters up and down without fear when we were sitting at the front. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by friendly neighbours on either side, all enjoying the last of the evening’s sunshine. The house was extremely clean, smelled fresh and had everything we needed; Caroline and Quentin had even thought to stock the fridge with the essentials and left a welcome basket of goodies. The living area was large enough to hold our family but not feel like we were on top of each other, helped by the fact that the outdoor area was straight out of the bifold doors. We didn’t use the decking much but with 3 small and active children there wasn’t much chance to sit down anywhere! The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need, again it was all very clean and well look after. We also appreciated the inclusion of smaller sized cutlery and child-friendly crockery. The utility with washing machine and dryer was superb, and well used during the visit. The bunk beds, twin room and double (with en-suite) on the 1st floor were perfect for the family to spread out in. Each beautifully presented, beautifully clean and very welcoming. The enormous family bathroom and landing area was just perfect for bedtime/bathtime routine and the large, fluffy white towels were of good quality and spotless. On the top floor was a further double room with en-suite and the family room, complete with enormous tv, sprawling sofa and a gaming area. We hung out and watched films and listened to the Anglesey weather raging against the windows and even managed a sleep over up there on the last night. Overall we had a thoroughly brilliant time at Sandy House and felt right at home and extremely welcomed. The little touches throughout (the dog bed and bowl, the 1st aid kit/under the sink essentials, the bathrobes, the board games and candles, are just some examples) showed that the owners cared about their home and the environment they were trying to create for their guests during their holiday. I will be recommending Sandy House to my friends and family and on our next visit, we’ll definitely try to book in again. Thank you Caroline and Quentin.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Sandy House.

The location and views are fabulous. Inside the house, it’s set out perfectly, very comfortable and practical. Only a couple of minor feedback points - sharper knives in the kitchen would be helpful, also somewhere to hang wet sports gear outside would be useful. The lack of car parking for a second car and some green garden space were only minor drawbacks. But we had a brilliant time!

Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Much effort had gone in to making our stay comfortable with a thoughtful level of detail. Much more spacious than the photographs portray. Great location for Rhosneigr.

Sandy House is absolutely wonderful.

We felt so at home the minute we walked through the door. The owners had thought of everything from the biggest welcome pack we have ever had to the soft towels and lovely white bedding.The kitchen had all of the utensils we needed for a group of eight and it was all of a high quality. There was a hint of seaside decoration which was just right. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking admiring the incredible view over to Snowdonia. The room at the top of the house was used by all ages and we enjoyed just relaxing up there. What a wonderful holiday home you have created.

Lovely welcome basket on arrival and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay! Beautiful house, beautiful views and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

This was a beautiful house , everything in the house was to a very high standard and very clean.

The games room certainly came in useful for the 2 teenagers who were with us, leaving the adults to chill downstairs. I would certainly recommend this property.
