• "Had a fantastic week celebrating a special birthday!"

  , well appointed house, spacious throughout with a hot tub and its own secure garden( for the dog) ,play barn for the grandkids, the kids and the big kids!! , walking distance to Rosneiger and short drive to Newborough beach, not forgetting “The Oystercatcher” for great meals ,snacks, and drinks, which is a 5 minute walk away. Thank you for looking after us and also for the lovely hamper that was left in the kitchen,

• "Glanllyn Bach is amazing the bedrooms are large and have everything you need from hairdryers televisions and mini fridges."

  The games room or football field is the perfect place to spend the evening either having a pool tournament, air hockey competitions or a game of football, well equipped with a Variety of games for all ages. There are several beaches within walking distance all are perfect for swimming and relaxing. Take a walk along the coastal paths for amazing views.

• "Superb spacious accommodation and excellent facilities for keeping the whole family entertained the best we’ve probably stayed at not to mention our 4 legged family members being spoilt rotten with the huge secure doggy play area and the numerous walks out from the property made for a great weeks stay for everyone."

  The close walking proximity to Rhosneigr, the beach and the Oystercatcher restaurant was the icing on the cake.

• "We loved, loved, loved this property!"

  Plenty of space for a large group of people, 10 to 15 minute walk to a lovely beach and to The Oystercatcher restaurant which was wonderful. They have thought of everything - the games room was great, we had a lot of fun in there and the hot tub was super clean and got lots of use during our stay. Our dog loved the enclosed field at the front of the house too! The area was very quiet and we slept well in the comfy beds. RAF Valley isn't too far away and on some days you can watch the jets doing their exercises whilst walking on the beach. We will definitely try and book again for next year.

• "Glanllyn Bach exceeded our expectations."

  We were 10 adults and a dog and this lovely house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds extremely comfortable and had spectacular views. The living areas were very well thought out and contained all high quality furnishings and equipment. We particularly enjoyed the games room for our family competitions and the hot tub/gardens for our relaxation and exercise. The short walk to The Oyster Catcher was well worth it and the 10% discount a lovely bonus. The local beach and lakeside walk were lovely and we were just a short drive from many beautiful and interesting areas. We were lucky enough to stay when the Red Arrows were landing at RAF Valley and we thoroughly enjoyed this spectacular display. Russell, the owner, was very helpful and communicative throughout our stay. We would definitely return.

The plan was to create rooms where guests can get together for some catching up and also places and spaces for some peaceful solitude if needed. I`m especially pleased that the Play Barn, hot tub and gardens provided some good family fun although I can`t take any credit for the Red Arrows turning up and putting on an impromptu performance! It sounds like you made the most of the local area too with visits to The Oyster Catcher, beach and the Maelog lakeside walks. I hope you were all able to take away some fantastic memories and I`d be very happy if you decided to return to do it all over again, plus more if that`s possible to fit into the schedule. • "What an amazing place for a multi generational break."

  The decor and cleanliness were first class. The play barn proved a great hit with all and provided many hours of good family fun. The dog field was a wonderful space and our dog had a great time. The food items were a lovely welcoming gift. We will definitely be booking again.

• "This amazing property was perfect for our family and close friends to get together and celebrate my husband's 70th birthday."

  The house was brilliant, providing us with great space but warm and cosy at the same time and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub and play barn were fantastic and were well used by us all. The online guide provided by the owner has to be mentioned. It provided us with so much information and more. Thanks also for the very generous welcome treats. We enjoyed walking along the lovely, nearby beach and around the lake and eating in the Oystercatcher just along the road. The Rib Ride boat trip from Menai Bridge was a lot of fun and the birthday meal at the Sage Kitchen was delicious. We also had wonderful, sunny walks at the South Stacks lighthouse and along Newborough Beach. Our first visit to beautiful Anglesey and hopefully it won't be our last !

• "We had the most wonderful holiday here with extended family for an 80th birthday."

  We were wowed from the moment we arrived. The owner left a beautiful hamper of Welsh goods for us and was easily reached (and very friendly) via text if we had any questions.. The house is large and extremely well appointed yet felt homely and welcoming at the same time. In good or bad weather there is always something to do here, especially the sports barn which we used on wetter days. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic with some beautiful glass art panels used throughout the decor. There were 9 of us but the house never felt crowded, plus a black lab (who thoroughly enjoyed the dog exercise field!). Rhosneigr itself is close by with friendly locals, cafes & shops. We also enjoyed an amazing birthday meal at the Oyster Catcher which is literally a stones throw away. I have been to Anglesey many times and stayed in various locations/properties and this was hands down the best. I would love to come back again one day!!

• "In a word ‘Amazing’ Glanllyn Bach is simply perfect!"

  From the moment we arrived at the house we instantly felt relaxed. Every room is beautifully decorated and furnished. From the sumptuous beds and superior linens to the finer details of a beautiful Welsh Hamper Welcome pack with its selection of tasty treats, every effort has been carefully put into ensuring guests have everything they need. Outstandingly clean and maintained to the highest standards throughout. As a party of 7 adults 2 children and our four- legged friend Glanllyn Bach was perfect, kids especially enjoyed the Play Barn and Games room ( the Pool table was great for the competitive Dads) and we all enjoyed the Hot Tub ‘under the stars’ Peace and Tranquility from start to finish we really didn’t want to leave I can’t recommend Glanllyn Bach highly enough and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

The super king mattresses are supplied by Harrison Spinks (also known as the Goldilocks mattresses at Glanllyn Bach) and deliver a wonderful restful sleep. A dip in the hot tub at night is a fantastic experience as we`re in a Dark Skies location with very low light pollution and so this combined with the peace and quiet are perfect conditions to relax and stargaze and if you`re lucky, witness the Northern Lights. • "The family and I had a lovely time at Glanllyn Bach."

  It is an absolutely gorgeous house with each room being decorated in a different style and with ensuite facilities. The sitting/dining areas and kitchen, along with the conservatory and outside covered areas allowed us to get together, but we could also retreat to our rooms if necessary to relax and watch our own choice of television programmes! The games room was fantastic, and the younger members of the group had a wonderful time there, as did some of us oldies! We were lucky with the weather, allowing us to explore and enjoy the beaches, as well as some forest walks. The house is just over the road from The Oyster Catcher who serve a variety of foods, and we also walked into the village a couple of times to have lunch at the dog-friendly Surf Cafe. What really stood out for me, was the large, fully-fenced and secure area where the dogs could exercise safely. Having a young collie whose recall is not yet perfect, meant that I could relax knowing that he would come back to me eventually when he was tired. All in all, we had the perfect week and I cannot wait to return. Highly recommended.

• "We booked the property for 9 adults and 2 children, for a 60th Birthday celebration."

  It was fabulous, beautiful bedrooms, all with their own enquire or bathroom. Kitchen was a great area to all be together, to chat, graze and chill. The barn was great fun, and the fully enclosed dog field was the icing on the proverbial cake, for our much loved pooch to run around. Thank you so much.

• "Our family had the best time at Glanllyn Bach, and we all left with some wonderful memories."

  Fabulous location, fabulous decor, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and the games barn was a real bonus, so much fun. We spent most days at the beach, which is just down the road and every evening in the games shed playing tennis and basketball on the astro turf. We also had some friendly competitions on the air hockey and pool table. We booked the Oyster Catcher across the road for a celebration meal which was delicious and allows dogs. The fenced off field was great for our dogs. We also enjoyed a walk to the lake, which was just a 5 minute walk away. The house had everything we needed, with lots of style and beautiful art. The hot tub had lots of use. There is an Raf base which is close by, so we popped by and both us adults and the kids really enjoyed watching the planes coming in to land and taking off. We are hoping to return again next year for a 60th birthday celebration.
