"Sadly I have to agree with the previous review, The property is quite dirty in several areas."
The ensuite shower particularly bad, I had to clean it before we could use it. The outside space has been neglected and is not very inviting. The kitchen equipment needed cleaning before use. Lots of clutter and personal items left in drawers and cuboards. The property has a lot of potential, it is a shame it hasn't been looked after.

"Unfortunately the bungalow was not clean, I have booked many Sykes properties and this was very disappointing, the amount of personal things in the house lead me to believe that the people who rent it out actually stay in the accommodation, the shower was disgustingly, there was opened food in the cupboards, a frying pan full of oil in the grill?"
The air fryer had pieces of burnt food in it, the en suite sink has a huge crack, the shower mats hadn’t been washed and stank, the double bunk bed was broken and the springs were coming through the mattress, the back garden was unkept, all in all a very poor experience and I’m surprised Sykes have this on their rentals.
I’ve seen the review that was posted on Sykes, and I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t come to me first before publishing it.
I will, of course, raise your comments with both the gardener and the cleaner.
However, I haven’t received feedback like this from any previous guests.
We don’t live at the property between bookings, as it is let for most of the year. We’ve only managed to spend around two weeks there ourselves, but we’ve tried to make it feel as homely and welcoming as possible.
If there was any food left in the cupboards, it would have been from previous guests, and I’m sorry if that was overlooked.
Would you be able to send me some photos of the issues you mentioned? That would really help me address them with the relevant people and ensure they don’t happen again.

Lovely property plenty of space great gated parking only thing I would point out is access to beach
out of season the holiday park next door is closed so you have to walk around
Need a new toilet seat mending or replace
Maybe new mattress or top putting on but that is my personal preference
But
Lovely bungalow great amenities close to beach pubs and shops but in a nice quiet road
Will be booking again

"Fantastic bungalow with lots of space to chill out."
all the amenities you would need for a lovely stay, in a great position for the town and to visit other areas. Unfortunately the weather prevented us using the great looking garden with an extensive decking and lawn. we did visit Conwy castle and the Welsh mountain zoo which are nearby and both were a real good day out. We would definitely recommend and look forward to stopping again

"Greenacres really is a lovely property & we really enjoyed a nice relaxing long weekend there."
We dropped on with the weather as it was meant to be raining a lot more than it was, but the mornings were gorgeous sunshine so got to spend some time at the beach (my happy place).
I have had to take a star off however due to a few things that slightly disappointed me. On arrival I got the keys from the lock box & there were a lot of keys. It was dark when we arrived & there was no light in the porch so was trying to work out which keys I needed as the alarm was about to go off. There is a light in porch but had no bulb & no switch in the porch to put it on even if it had a bulb in. Eventually sorted it & turned the alarm off. Of all the keys, we only needed the 2 for the front doors while we were there as all the other doors have the keys in them already - so really no need to have that many on the bunch.
Cleanliness was an issue too tbh, on the whole it was clean & smelt nice. However, the trap in the en suite shower was full of other people's hair & dirt - i had to take it out during a shower as the water wasnt draining through & honestly it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Also there was a lot of dust & dirt under the dresser in the main room, about 12 dead wood lice from the spider that was also under there. Quite a few cobwebs throughout too. The main room also had a bit of a funny smell to it & not nice like the other rooms.
On the whole, it was a nice weekend & a good stay

We loved the parking as the car was well off the road and we could close the gates for added security. There was more than enough room for the family. We could not really fault anything.
The weather was not the best, but we did have some good days and you make the most of it when on holiday.

"My daughter and her friend stay here for a long weekend for a much needed rest after a challenging year and also to check out how dog friendly the property was and location ."
My daughter’s reaction when they entered the property was WOW this is amazing . Very spacious indoors and outdoors and extremely well maintained and kitted out . Comfy beds brilliant location too. On the down side they went with storm Amy who decided that the gate needed to be demolished . The property owners were amazing and quickly sorted that out for them and enquired if they had a four legged friend staying . Luckily they didn’t in this occasion . This property will be great when we do re visit as we most definitely will as my daughters dog will love it too especially the very dog friendly garden . The owners even came armed with a bottle of Prosecco for the disruption Storm Amy caused . Didn’t spoil a thing Amy so we will be back . All in all a fabulous bungalow that ticks all the boxes so a great big thank you from Lizzie and Kat for a lovely stay and a hamper full of goodies too on the table .

"The property was lovely and the location was ideal."
Just a few problems, the shower over the bath wasn't working so when there are 5 of you staying and all want a,shower it causes a few problems. The ensuite shower unit could do with an upgrade but everything else was great. Well enclosed for my dog but the garden does have lily's in it which are dangerous to animals. Just a thought to consider for the owner, ideally they should be removed when it is advertised as dog friendly. The garden furniture was not set out it was covered up do when we took it out to use it was quite dirty and had to be cleaned together with the floor underneath before we could use it.
The washer/dryer needed better instruction if you simply wanted to use the dryer it seemed impossible to do so, the same applied to the dishwasher.
We,did really enjoy our stay and honestly don't want to sound negative just these few issues would have changed my answers from good to excellent
Thank you for your review.
In regards to the bathroom shower you have to pull the metal plug that is in-between the taps as this controls either the bath or shower.
Around the lillies I have dogs myself and they have never tried to eat the flowers ever so this wouldn't cause an issue.
The garden furniture is always covered the cushions are kept in a waredrobe in the main bedroom
For the dryer you just need to select the code for drying. The wash codes depend on which cycle you want the machine on. However, these codes are all on the machine.
I hope this reply answers the above.

"The bungalow was well placed for our needs."
The instructions to enter were very detailed.
I thought it was very odd that wardrobes in the main bedroom were chained up, this was a first for us.
The gardens front and back needed attention, just mowing them would have made them a lot tidier.
The decking at the back was fairly horrible, birds’ muck everywhere, garden furniture piled up, we definitely felt we could not sit outside.
The bedroom that was next to the conservatory had a very off putting smell, which I think came from the quilt.
There was a damp smell throughout which appeared to be mitigated with the addition of plastic humidifiers.
Although there were toiletries they all appeared to be leftovers from other guests.
There were only 2 toilet rolls, one in each bathroom.
There were a lot of soft toys in the bedroom with the bunk bed, I didn’t think this was very hygienic.
It is always a nice gesture to leave decent amounts of tea, coffee and milk, this wasn’t the case here.
Thank you for your review. I would just like to address the above.
The wardrobes have the locks on as this is personal belongings to the owners and all cleaners products . This still allows the bedroom to have plenty of wardrobe space if guests would like to use it.
In regards to the toilet rolls, tea coffee etc has been addressed with the cleaner and their team however these are only welcome supplies.
In regards to the dehumifiers these are in place around the house to absorb any moisture created from all the occupiers. These are changed regularly. Also the windows being opened would help this however it is down to the guests to open.
Also the soft plush toys in the front bedroom on the triple bunk are if any children visit they can use them.
The garden furniture is placed up the corner of the decking and under a cover which is to protect against all weather. Again this is for the guests to remove the cover and the cushions are in the wardrobe in the main bedroom..

"Everything was ok and very spacious."
My only gripe was the decking. It was covered in Seagull poo. I asked for the owners to come and jet wash but they said they hadn't got one. They then had a brush delivered for us to clean this ourselves.
If the poo had only just happened I would have gladly cleaned it but unfortunately the poo was days old. This meant this was never cleaned before we arrived on the Friday afternoon.
The lawns were well over grown too.
Thank you for the review.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend as I don't live near the property that's why I supplied another brush. I'm unfortunately unable to control the seaguls and pooing on the decking especially as it is baby session as well this time of year. However, a request has been made to clean this regularly
Both the front and rear lawns have been seen to.

"A prior warning about the intruder alarm would have been useful it was difficult finding the right button to press whilst it was going off."
The garden was totally out of bounds for us and the dog because of the aggressive seagulls protecting 2 chicks and the amount of poop was very off putting.
We found it very difficult to suss out the television and were only able to watch on the conservatory set
The property itself was gorgeous and had everything you could need thank you
Thank you for your review I would just like to highlight the instructions for the alarm are documented within the welcome pack that is sent from Sykes.
Unfortunately, the Seagull poop is out of my control it is baby season from middle of June till end of August approximately. We have 5 dogs ourselves between the family of very different breeds and they have never been attacked by seaguls.

"Lovely house, great location."
Just a couple of issues which didn’t ruin our stay. We arrived to an overflowing general waste bin - there are no instructions in the ‘guest book’ for emptying any of the bins so I’m not surprised, this would be really helpful. Also, one of the double bedrooms is connected to the conservatory so has no access to outside air - the window opens into the conservatory, not the outside, so was very hot and stuffy. Other than that lovely property, lovely enclosed garden for the dog and walking distance to everything you need.

As close to the beach as you can get in this resort! Owner dealt with impact of a power cut surge promptly and was easy to speak to. Discussed dog proofing her home due to large internal plant and stuffed toys at floor level resulting in a “casualty” within minutes of arrival , was understanding and kind when I informed her of the fact and that I had replaced it. Would love to return again and would recommend to friends and family
