  • "Fabulous property, ideal for families, an 8 minutes walk to the beach."

    The property is equipped with all essentials making it a real home from home! The only thing missing is potentially a hose pipe for the sandy days at the beach but it doesn't have an outside tap. We had an amazing stay, arriving back yesterday and rebooked already for next year!

  • "Very spacious and clean!"

    The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, definitely home from home, we took lots that we didn’t need and could happily turn up in future with just shower gel, shampoo, conditioner a toothbrush and toothpaste. It’s very central to get to most places in under 1 hour when looking for places to visit. We’re multi generational 16-67 and all would happily stay there again. Thank you James for a great stay.

  • "Very clean and equipped to a high standard."

    Excellent parking with a nice wide drive right up to the door making unloading in the rain easier. Good location with walks each way along the coast from the door. Only a few minutes walk to the bay with several nice places to eat. Only loses a star because of the TV. Needs an aerial like the neighbours. Having to log on to different apps to change channel is a right faff. The accommodation is so good and has obviously had a lot of money spent on it so another few quid on a TV aerial would make it perfect.

    We stayed here before it was refurbished and loved it then so going back after the upgrades, it was even better. Wonderful location, beautifully laid out and very comfortable. A home away from home. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it

  • "What a wonderful time we had, The property was Clean, Comfy, Quiet and everything available that you need to make your stay perfect."

    We had the best weather, Beaches are no more than 5 to 10 minute walk. The football Golf is a good laugh. Restaurants are lovely especially Seacroft. Ice cream at the sea shanty is a must! Didnt want to come home.

  • "Beautiful property finished to a very high standard."

    Set in an ideal location to explore the local area and only around a 10 minute walk to the beach which was very handy. We did notice a couple of things that would have made the holiday even better though. For example bins in the bathrooms would have been handy and a TV aerial to allow free view instead of just apps. We were unable to reverse on the drive as it was too steep and scraped the underneath of the car as we pulled back, pulling on forward was no issue though (as long as no one had parked opposite when it came to getting back off the drive again). The neighbours around the property were very friendly but the neighbours directly attached were very noisy most nights so if you are a light sleeper, go for the room with the bunk beds as this is the only bedroom not attached. A lot of care and attention has gone into the property and it's a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

    Kitchen meets all high standards with ample cooking utensils. Heating easy to use, great shower and bath facility's. Would definitely book again. Would benefit from hot tub as lovely outside space.

  • "We had a wonderful week stay in September, very lucky with the weather."

    Capel Farm is perfectly located for exploring Anglesey with lots to see in Trearddur Bay. The lounge is perfect - we had the map open on the table all week selecting the next day's trek each evening. Comfortable and had everything needed. Decorated to a high standard - the sliding doors opening to the garden area lovely - nice to hear birdsong and see the autumn colours breaking through.

  • "This property was very clean and comfortable."

    The kitchen is in new condition, practical and well equipped. The underfloor heating provides background heat in a spacious living/kitchen area. 2 Bathrooms are spacious, clean and modern. We used the double bedroom- a further two bedrooms are available for additional guests. Comfortable beds and spotless bedding ensued a good nights sleep. Overall the accommodation was excellent and situated within walkable distance to Traerdur Bay.

    This is a beautifully refurbished property, within walking distance of Trearddur Bay. We had a great holiday in Anglesey, our favourite being Newborough Beach. Would love to visit again and stay at Capel Farm.

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay at 11 Capel Farm."

    The house is a good size, very comfortable, clean and well presented. Beds and showers are good, and there are some nice features such as the folding doors which are great when the sun hits the garden and effective underfloor heating when it's nowhere to be seen. The large storage space outside is very useful for storing inflatable kayaks and beach stuff. Located nicely for Trearddur Bay a few minutes walk away and as a base for exploring further afield, for walks, places to eat or coastline. Friendly neighbours happy to share valuable local knowledge.

    Spotlessly clean, comfortable, everything we needed!. Close to beach etc. Only downside - no manuals for TV /cooker etc. Emailed owner a few times without any response until later on but all ok in the end. Blinds needed in both bathrooms? Would definitely return here!

Holyhead 2.1 miles; Rhosneigr 14 miles; Cemaes Bay 15.3 miles

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
