The village offers a selection of seaside activities, including unwinding on the sandy shores of Trearddur Bay Beach where you can explore rock pools and slipways, try your hand at prawn fishing at Mackerel Rock, or rent equipment from Splash Watersports to enjoy a day in the water!

Travel north to the town of Holyhead and embark on the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, enjoy a picnic at the Holyhead Breakwater Country Park and explore the fascinating Holyhead Maritime Museum.

You will also find the quaint village of Four Mile Bridge nearby where you can take part in canoeing between the village's bridge and the Stanley Embankment; travel across the bridge to the village of Valley and enjoy a local favourite from Sergio's Fish & Chip Shop, or take a guided stroll through nature with the local experts at Anglesey Wildlife Walks, where you can spot Puffin and Chough.

Hop onto the train at Valley's train station and make the most of what Anglesey has to offer, and why not travel down to the beaches of Rhosneigr, to the historic town of Beaumaris or the lively university town of Bangor?

For your next coastal getaway, choose Little Mead.

Lovely clean, comfortable and spacious holiday house with a perfect back garden.

Only lost one mark for facilities and maintenance because we were unlucky enough to be there whilst the dishwasher was broken.

A beautiful, spacious and very relaxing bungalow we were looking for somewhere to accommodate my partially sighted , 88 year old disabled father and myself for a short break near the sea.

Stunning quiet and relaxing accommodation to spend time in together. We relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of nearby beaches and generally the odd meal out with not going too far every day. The conservatory was delightful , the garden private and we spent most of out time enjoying the delights of the local eateries and fresh fish. I also enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The dishwasher wasn't working but this was not a problem being only myself and my father . Thank you the 5 days were just perfect !
