  • "There was a coffee caddy in the kitchen with damp clogged coffee in it."

The kettle had water left in it. The splashback (different to the online pictures) was sticky back plastic peeling off. There was a very burnt piece of toast wedged in the toaster - we removed this for them. There was no plug for the sink, so we searched a washing up bowl, there was a layer of mould. The two plates we used were chipped. The wine glass had lip marks on it. The fridge had no bottom shelf on the door. The living room sofa was like sitting on a brick and the seats were filthy. There was a musty smell throughout the caravan. We tried to move the coffee table closer to the seat and the top came off. The splashback in the bathroom (not same as the online pictures) was peeling off and dirty. There were no towels as advertised on line. We messaged the owner who said we were messaged there were no towels that- we received no such message? We unpacked our clothes and found a pair of jeans in the twin room wardrobe. On going to bed, the light in the twin room did not work? Fortunately we were able to use the torch on our phone. The owner said he would change the bulb next time he was there- after we were due to leave? We by no means expected five star luxury accommodation but felt basic, three Sykes ticks and cleanliness would suit this trip perfectly - but this caravan fell well short of this, so much so we actually stayed less than 24 hours. We arrived on Monday at 4.30pm and by Tuesday, having been out walking all morning we decided to come home and packed up and left at 2pm.

I’m sorry you feel that way , we have many very good reviews for our caravan , and feel your exaggerating about these problems, our caravan is left spotless by our cleaner Property Owner

  • "After booking caravan 235 for 3 nights, unfortunately me and my children decided to leave due to the unwashed bedding, hair underneath the duvet, a rotten odour coming from the kitchen, and more."

We expected more as the pictures shown were a lot more organised and clean; but we had to leave after 1 night. This was extremely disappointing, and we don’t recommend this at all. After discussing with the owner of these caravans, he denied all allegations and had no empathy for our family. Terrible service.
