  • "A very well appointed property, nicely located for beaches and coastal paths."

My issue was with the ambient temperature in the main living area. Although we were advised that the underfloor heating was working for our stay it was not at an adequate temperature to keep the space comfortably warm throughout the week. There is a log burner in place but that shouldn’t need to be relied on. Underfloor heating was advertised as an amenity at the property and it should be maintained at a decent temperature. The zone thermostats were locked and couldn’t be adjusted by the guests. I noticed other feedback making the same point about this issue. During our stay the outside temperature dropped by about 8 - 10 degrees ( from start to finish of the week) and some flexibility needs to be in place to ensure the heating performs accordingly.

We are sorry to hear your complaint concerning heating, we have checked with housekeeping and neither they or the agent received any call from you to ask for more heat. We monitor remotely the stat temps for all underfloor systems including wall panel heaters to the bedrooms. We did not receive any complaints from any other guests that week in any other units, overall the temp in the living area averaged way above 21' with the lowest at 20.3'early morning of 12th. We would of course be amenable to adjust stats to comfortable temps when requested. Property Owner

Fantastic views, close to the beach - what more do you want? Saw the stoat, many birds, bunnies, owl, Pheasants. Can highly recommend the ice-cream place on the front at Moelfre. Coastal Fish & Chips in Moelfre and Ann's Pantry - what a find - great food! Thank you for a lovely stay, all the best xxx

  • "We have had the most relaxing and enjoyable fortnight at Traeth Ora."

The Cottage is just stunning, beautifully appointed and really well equipped; and it's proximity to the most gorgeous beach gives it a real sense of escapism. We enjoyed some great breakfasts at Ann's Pantry Moelfre, and delicious dinner at the Boathouse in Red Wharf Bay. The fish and chips from Finney's in Benllech were the best! It's also been a great place to explore the area from - We had some lovely days in Beaumaris, Caernarfon, Cemaes, Rhosneigr and Llandudno. Thank you so much for allowing us to get away from it all in this gorgeous property in such a stunning location. We will be back!

  • "Excellent accommodation and facilities, comfortable furnishings and clean throughout."

The only minor snag we had was promptly rectified the next day. The proximity of the beach made the holiday for the children as we were very fortunate to have lovely weather all week. Thanks for a great holiday.

Thank you for your kind review, we are so pleased Traeth Ora cottage is so popular & being on the doorstep to one of the best isolated beaches throughout Wales... Property Owner

  • "Traeth yr ora was very well equipped and great location but one of the selling points was wifi but there was no internet connection for which I think we should be compensated."

The other selling point was underfloor heating, there was none in fact we were cold the whole time I think the heating was based on time of year not as it should be on temperature I'm sorry for negative review but I feel these things should be pointed out

We are sorry there was an Openreach issue locally which was resolved eventually. We did not receive any request from you for heating given for this time of year all systems remain off given opening windows and doors triggers thermostats. There was a lovely woodburner for you to use however. Property Owner

  • "Our family had an amazing time at the cottage at the beginning of May celebrating my husband's 70th birthday."

The cottage surpassed our expectations and it is ideal for a multi generational family gathering. A lot of thought and care has gone into making it such a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. It is in such a beautiful, peaceful setting with gorgeous views of the estuary and the sea. We know the area very well as many holidays were spent nearby when the children were younger. We were so happy to return and make more memories at Traeth Ora. Thank you to Kevin in the office and Richard the estate manager for sorting out a minor problem so professionally. The champagne was very much appreciated! Best wishes from Elaine and all the family.
