  • "We found Menai View to be well appointed, clean, comfortable and very spacious with some luxury touches such as the quality bedding."

    The location was perfect for our itinerary with each of our planned visits within a 35 minute drive. We were surprised how close the property is to the water - closer than the marketing photo implies. The number of stairs from the ground floor up to the bright and airy kitchen and living room was not an issue for us, but may be for some. This lovely property, and the array of wonderful things to see and do in the area, gave us a perfect week's holiday.

  • "The house was clean and tidy and a good base for visiting Anglesey and North Wales."

    Fabulous views or the bay, but unfortunately the furniture in ground floor bedroom was useless, unable to open drawers and wardrobe unsafe when opening, at least attach it to the wall so it can't topple over, or better still replace with functioning bedroom furniture. Replacement batteries for TV remotes and Xbox, or at least check they work correctly and the xbox controllers were filthy. Also parking very tight for 2 medium sized cars. Having said this we still had a good holiday despite the weather. Not sure we'd stay in another upside down house due to having to carry shopping etc up 2 flights of stairs.

    Great base to explore Anglesey and the Mountains as well. The house had everything we needed - amazing views from the balcony, comfy beds and great showers. We really didn't want to leave!

  • "Lovely home and a lovely area."

    We had a great, comfortable and relaxing stay. The radiator in the downstairs bedroom didn't work neither did the one in the hallway, so that needs looking at. We didn't call anyone as it wasn't needed, but thought it best to let you know.

  • "LOVELY WELL PRETENSIVE HOUSE WE LIKED THE PROPERTY VERY MUCH."

    COUPLE OF POINTS THE T,V, RECEPTION WAS USELESS. THE VAC STILL HAD FLOOR WASTE IN THE CONTAINER, INSTEAD OF A BOTTLE OF WINE[WHICH WAS A LOVELY, WHY NOT SOME MILK/OR /BUTTER

  • "Really lovely property - the balcony had amazing views."

    The only two things we felt were missing was a tin opener in the kitchen and a sweeping brush to keep autumnal leaves at bay! Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

  • "We had a lovely stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday."

    We didn’t get to go away for her 50th due to the pandemic. So we wanted to go somewhere special. The house was beautifully clean, it had all we needed to feel at home. The sea view from the lounge are was great. Beds comfortable, whole house felt really clean and fresh. Ground floor bedroom, although luxurious, we would have preferred it to mirror the neutral decor of the other two bedrooms. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and we will definitely stay again. Thank you so much

Y Felinheli, formerly know as Port Dinorwic, is situated on the beautiful Menai Strait between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Home to a small, established yachting marina with an interesting lock (allowing boats to enter or leave before cruising down the Straits to the open sea), this small village also has a couple of pubs, a restaurant and cafe in the dock area, a shop and Post Office, a beautician, a hairdresser and several great restaurants on the nearby Island of Anglesey.
