The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and I’m very fussy when it comes to things like that. There are fabulous views over The Menai Straights and the sunsets are spectacular. If you decide to book “The Moorings” you will not be disappointed

  • "This is a very well appointed property with glorious views from the balconies across the Menai Strait to Anglesey."

We were blessed with very good weather which provided wonderful sunsets! The welcome tray was excellent and much enjoyed - thank you! This is an excellent place for a family or 2 couples provided that you only have one car. The description online does state that there is parking for 1 car but it does not say that if you have a 2nd one that parking on nearby streets is not easy. However, I do not want this to detract from this review as it is an excellent property.

It also has a superb out look over the Menai Straits. The owners were also very helpful with minor snags, and for advice about local restaurants. But you want to eat out in Y Felinheli, book early.

  • "The house was lovely."

It was very clean and well equiped including a Tassimo Coffee Machine. The photographs don't do it justice. The owners were very friendly and replied to all emails quickly giving us advice for restaurants in the area so that we could book in advance. I would advise booking well ahead for weekends as we were unable to get in anywhere on a Saturday evening despite ringing several days before we left home. I would highly recommend The Moorings to friends and family who wish to visit North Wales.
