A comfortable base to explore the fantastic area.

There was no CD/Ipod dock as listed. From my point of view I would not stay at Ysgubor Penrallt again owing to the access lane being pot holed and having a high grass covered ridge along the middle section. Ok for higher SUV's. Owner provided easy access with a pre prepared text sent with directions and keycode

The property was immaculate and the upstairs sitting room was an inspiration.

The sunsets seen from there were amazing. The views from each room (and patio) were lovely and it was very peaceful. Be prepared for some steep roads in places but it only added to the experience. Stay in or explore-we would highly recommend this one.

The cottage is in a very nice location.

It was very clean and warm. We stayed last year and enjoyed it so much that we booked again. This time, however, the bed was quite uncomfortable. The foam mattress seemed to have collapsed at the sides. Also, we think that the settee and chair upstairs should be renewed as they are quite worn and uncomfortable to sit on. The bathroom got steamed up as the fan didnt work. In general, the lighting could be improved as its either very bright or dark. There needs to be more ambient lighting, or dimmer switches.
