  • "Stunning accommodation in a delightful setting with easy access to beach walks."

    Such a comfortable cottage with beautiful soft furnishings and pictures of local views , lovely oak furniture and fantastic views. The owner was quick to respond to our queries and kind enough to post an item we had left behind. We only stayed 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer, despite the grim weather. Would highly recommend Moelfre and this lovely property.

  • "Delightful cottage."

    Luxuriously fitted out bathrooms. Quality kitchen with American style fridge and complete set of cooking and eating utensils for everything you could possibly need. Really great heating system too. Best feature for us were the amazing sea views and balcony access from every room. Moelfre is a beautiful olde worlde fishing village with cliff walks from the front door, an RNLI lifeboat station with gift shop and a very welcoming pub at the Kinmel Arms. Arms.

  • "We love this cottage and it is our second time staying here."

    The owner is responsive to queries and the welcome pack was again appreciated. If you want a warm, comfortable home with amazing sea views when you wake up in the morning Moranedd is the place for you. We hope to be back early in the New Year.

  • "Lovely cottage with fabulous sea views from each floor."

    The cottage has everything you need for a lovely stay. Well equipped kitchen, TV's in all bedrooms, comfortable beds, a bathroom/shower on each floor. There is a lovely garden with garden furniture and rabbits and birds. There is no parking at the property but we used the car park at RNLI which is a two minutes walk away and our donation went to a good cause. We were very lucky with the weather and I loved that I could watch the sunrise from my bed each morning. I would highly recommend this property and I hope to return again.

  • "My wife and I stayed at Moranedd 06 09 25, we enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it had beautiful views over the bay, was clean and comfortable, and a nice welcome pack with Barra Brith, Welsh cakes and tea bags and milk, enough for a snack on arrival, important as Moelfre has now lost it's shop, it closed June this year."

    the cottage is handily placed for the pub and cafe, and coastal walks. overall we really enjoyed our visit

  • "We had a great week in a lovely house with fantastic views in a beautiful village."

    The house had everything we needed. The only small issue was a set of bed linen that needed cleaning but this was rectified immediately by the owner. The balcony had not been cleaned but the view more than made up for that. There is a free car park 5 mins walk away. We would be very happy to return..

    Also the pub just a few minutes' walk away. The cleaning team for the property deserve a 5-star award. The three bath/shower rooms were so practical. A really great stay for our first time on beautiful Anglesey.

    The cottage is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need Great location with stunning views and just a short walk to the Kimnel Arms, and Ann's pantry The coastal path is a lovely walk,which basically runs along the back of the property Parking in the lifeboat car park every day can be a little expensive But if you are lucky, you can find the odd spot to park elsewhere for free We had the best weather sunny ⛅️ every day,and can't wait to come back

  • "The setting could not have been better."

    The house was comfortable and well resourced with cooking equipment although a casserole dish would have been great ! Beds comfortable and clean. Location exceptional with beautiful sea views. A bit more info re parking costs and recycling would have been useful.

  • "A lovely cottage with splendid views."

    We had a super time walking the coast path and this made a useful base for a trip. A few minor maintenance issues (some light bulbs to change , hoover broken hose and intermittent television). But we had chosen based on great shower facilities for our group (3 bathrooms) but top floor was out of action and didn’t get rectified during our stay which was poor. Owner rang me half way through our stay and I thought she was going to say it was fixed but actually she thought she was ringing the next guests to tell them ‘it was broken and had only just happened’. That’s a little disappointing. A lovely cottage but going forward attend to maintenance issues straight away and ensure the cleaner checks cleanliness of all pots and pans etc. I’d definitely recommend the cottage and my comments are to help the owner keep her high review standards. Maintenance is everything in dynamic cottage rental situation. As an owner I’d not let things slip.

However, it was fully explained during our initial phone conversation that the plumber had been to visit prior to your arrival, but needed to order some parts which would take some time to arrive & I could not guarantee the shower would be fixed during your stay. Also, the property is always checked by our housekeepers on arrival & departure, so if there are any issues we would always ask you to contact us directly on the phone number provided in the welcome pack.   • "The property is in excellent condition throughout and provides an ideal base to explore the island."

    We have stayed in many properties on the island and this rates as one of the best. Parking is convenient in the RNLI car park and for a donation they provide a signed ticket for display in the vehicle. We will definitely be returning to this cottage.

  • "Lovely property, and a fabulous location."

    Lovely and cosy, comfy beds and a view to die for. Ideal for walking the coastal path. I'm missing it already! Minor things - no hairdryer, TV in main room small (unless you're watching it at the table), and I couldn't figure out how the heated towel rail worked. We never used the fancy coffee machine and would have preferred a cafetiere. Description for arrival mentioned The Liverpool Arms when the pub is called The Kimnel Arms. Parking at the RNLI car park is daytime only (mentioned in information booklet when you get to the property) and the free carpark 5 minutes walk away is a better one to refer to in the description on Sykes. That said, we used the one just up from the RNLI station entrance although I suspect that wouldn't be possible at busy times. Not sure what the welcome pack is that people refer to in the Visitors Book but thank you for the milk.

  • "A little piece of paradise!"

    We have stayed in lots of house in the village over the years and this is by far the best. The views are simply stunning from all 3 floors and if we didn’t have kids to entertain think we could have just spent the week on the balcony watching the ever changing scenery. The house was perfect for us as a family of 4. The decor and art work throughout is perfect for the setting. The beds were super comfy and having 3 bathrooms is ideal for returning from a long day at the beach. The kitchen has everything you need and even a posh coffee machine! Parking was fine - there is enough room to park outside for short periods to unload and pack. We used the free car park at the other side of the village which was only a 5 minute walk. Can’t wait to return next year!
