Savour your meals as a group around the dining table for six, before you head to the sitting room to unwind as you enjoy a film or two on the TV as the evening draws on.
When sleep inevitably calls, be sure to refresh with a bath or shower on your way to hunkering down for a well-earned rest in one of the three upstairs bedrooms.
When you're ready, lace up your shoes and head out to explore what your local area has to offer.
A brief stroll from your front door will bring you to your nearest convenience stores where you can stock up on essentials, the Penny Hedge where you can tuck into some traditional pub grub, as well as the stunning, historic landmark of the Larpool Viaduct!

Lovely house we did have a slight problem which the owner is aware of we had to buy bath and hand towels as for some reason none were supplied even though we checked to see if towels were provided.
Kitchen well stocked and plenty of room. Personal preference would have been to have firmer pillows on the beds. Overall a lovely area and really peaceful would return in the future
Anstis was a lovely spacious cottage.
Had everything you needed. Quiet, peaceful and amazing walks. We had such a good time. The host 10/10. Will defiantly be returning :) Thank you Kate, Sheffield x
Once again enjoyed our stay.
so quiet and great views from rear patio across the fields. great eclipse and view of meteor showers, easy to get taxi to and from to go into whitby if you do not want to drive.
