He went out of his way to make sure the property was ready for us with less than 24 hours notice. We loved Laurel Cottage and can’t wait to go back. It’s a beautiful cottage, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The large secure garden was perfect for our dogs and they loved the cosy under floor heating. Everything you could ask for including a lovely welcome pack. Fiona and John

Last but not least the owner Gary was a pleasure to deal and speak with, when our vehicle developed a problem he went out of his way to help us providing Garage information to help fix the issue. We're already booking for next year! The cottage was all open plan, spacious and modern with all the home from home comforts you would want. The owner made sure we had tea/coffee facilities and milk upon arrival and also left us a complimentary bottle of wine to welcome us, which was a lovely surprise and a really thoughtful touch. Gary introduced himself to us on arrival and assured us he was on hand if we needed him. There was a beautiful large enclosed garden, which our dog thoroughly enjoyed. When we arrived home, we realised we had left some of the dog's medication behind and Gary arranged to send it on to us special delivery via Royal Mail which was much appreciated (we obviously reimbursed him for the postage). The cottage is near to the local village of Malton and approx 30 mins away from Scarborough. Morrisons/Lidl is not far away in Malton and we had a wonderful Sunday lunch at a nearby pub/bistro type restaurant called The Ham & Cheese which we can't rate highly enough! We will definitely be staying at Laurel Farm again!

The property was extremely clean when we arrived and Gary was a great host, making sure everything was as we needed during our stay. The property’s location makes it a great place to see all North Yorkshire has to offer, during our stay we visited Scarborough, York, the Yorkshire Moors and Eden Camp, all of which were easy to travel to from the property. The only feedback we would have is that we couldn’t reach into a few of the kitchen cupboards as they were quite high up. For us there was plenty of space in the lower down cupboards to store all we had brought with us but providing a foldaway step would be useful for some guests. Thanks again!
