  • "Betsey's burrow is a wonderful hidden gem in the centre of Bridlington ."

5 minutes walk to the beach and all the town centre facilities locally. The apartment is above a lovely cafe , no noise from it at all. The road outside is busy , with deliveries to the local shops and cafes from around 6am, but the bedroom is at the back, so not really noticeable (unless you have a dog who hears everything like we have !) The apartment itself is fantastic, so well appointed and furnished . You could think it was a cottage in the Dales inside . The bed, bathroom and kitchen have all you need, appointed to a great standard and the wood burner made for cosy nights in. Tip for parking, we unloaded and then parked our car around 10 mins walk away on Lampugh Square , a pleasant residential street with no restrictions, saved quite a bit of money as we had two cars due to work commitments. The train service from Brid is fantastic , along with amazing walks, we didn't need our cars once. Tips for eating and drinking. Little Sicily is a fantastic (dog friendly ) Italian restaurant, very authentic. Salt on the Harbour was also really good with a fantastic view. Masala Indian takeaway delivered on a really wet and windy evening, very tasty . The moon straight across the road is a lovely pub , 3 B's micropub has an excellent selection of beers and some interesting characters for a chat. The walk to Sewerby Hall and gardens is so pretty on the cliff tops , gardens and immaculate (and free in winter.) Really nice cafe on site too. Don't miss a walk up to the old town . Wonderful selection of little shops, pubs and the priory (lots of home made produce on sale to raise church funds too.) We really enjoyed our winter beak , much needed time away, would love to return .

  • "Fantastic flat finished to a very high standard, very clean and comfortable."

Great location close to centre but position of bedroom meant not noisy at night. Perfect open living space for cooking and relaxing. Bridlington centre and the harbour minutes walk. Parking not available directly outside unless out of hours, large 24hour car park very close and free street parking can be found a bit further afield. The owner was extremely friendly and very responsive, always happy to help and offer local recommendations. A great place to stay for trips to Bridlington and the surrounding area would definitely stay again.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Betsy’s Burrow!"

The apartment was absolutely stunning – beautifully styled, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into making it a welcoming and relaxing space. We were especially touched by the thoughtful extras left for us – a bottle of champagne, biscuits, and teabags – such a lovely surprise that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Betsy’s Burrow – a real gem, and we’ll definitely be returning!
