  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend family get together."

The property had everything we needed and was warm and comfortable . The hot tub was a bonus for the youngsters. Even the weather was great !!!!!

Thanks you so much for taking the time to leave us such an amazing review. We are delighted that you had a great stay. Bridlington Bay is a great location as so close to the beach...literally a 2 minute walk, and within close proximity to the town centre. We'd love to welcome you back! • "The house was lovely, however, parts of it were a trip hazard."

Lots of the floors were uneven and some of the floorboards had pieces missing. I could actually put my foot in one of the holes in the main bedroom. There was a lot of damp in the house. On a good note, the kitchen was well stocked, and the snug area with the PlayStation was a nice touch.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I will ask the maintenance team to to take a investigate at the 'hole' in the main bedroom which you have mentioned and get that looked at. There is a small damp area in 1 room which I did tell you about before your arrival so I do think it's unfair to say that there is a lot of damp in the house. We are in the process of treating the damp in the small lounge but just to mention there is no smell or mould at all. I hope this didn't spoil your stay which I'm sure it didn't as you told me that you all had a great time enjoying you special family celebration. Pleased to hear that you had all you needed. • "We stayed at the Bridlington Day House for two nights in July to attend the Bridlington Beach Volleyball tournament and, overall, it has been an amazing experience."

Julie kindly provided all the details regarding the house and parking beforehand, which were really useful. The house is in a really nice and quiet area, just a few minutes away from the promenade on the beach and the piers. The house is really spacious and comfy, although it could definitely use renovation. Pros: - the hot tub was lovely - bedrooms were nice and spacious - kitchen was fully equipped - living rooms were really nice and spacious (it was nice to watch the games all together). - received really quick assistance when calling the emergency number (for a faulty tap). - did I mention the lovely hot tub? Cons: - a few of us had issues with showers, with low pressure and a bit of mould. - the handle of the main living room was faulty and couldn't be opened from the inside. - could have used a more spacious fridge (a bit small for 22 people ) and a few more bins. - some of the rooms had a shortage of toilet paper. - the blinds of one of the twin rooms were a bit faulty, which made it hard to open the window. Overall, we had a really good time at the house and we will surely reconsider it for next year

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review .... we really appreciate it. It sound like you had a lovely time and the house is certainly big enough to accommodate large multi-generational families. I'm sorry to hear that you had an issue with the showers. Most of them are electric so if all were being used at the same time, that could have caused the pressure to drop. I appreciate your suggestion on an additional fridge freezer, the big American style one in the kitchen had lots of space but I will keep in mind that maybe need an additional one in the utility room. I'm surprised to hear that there was a shortage of toilet paper as we supply 2 in each one so that's 22 we supplied in total. The accommodation is self catering so we would expect guests to bring things like this themselves. If you are thinking of coming back to Bridlington next year we would love to welcome you back again. Best Wishes Julie Property Owner

  • "We had a great family time in Bridlington."

The property is minutes from the beach, fun fair and swimming baths. Aldi is a few minutes drive away. The property is huge, very good for big families. It's pretty dated bar the kitchen and the shower on the first floor doesn't heat up. Most of the shower rooms could do with an upgrade and a good scrub but we managed. The patio garden is small and in need of a good power wash and weeds pulling up, only 4 seats outside so I'd definitely take some deck chairs with you if you want to all sit out. It's very residential so no privacy. Julie the house manager was extremely helpful and very approachable. All in all if you get it at a good price it's worth the money for all the space the kids loved it. We would probably return as we had a great 4 days.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It's always really useful to get feedback which enables us to make continuous improvements to our properties. I delighted to hear that the size of the accommodation was ideal for you all and I hope you managed to see some Bridlington sunshine whilst you were here! The location of Bridlington Bay is just perfect and as you say close to all the amenities that Brid has to offer . We are actually in the process of updating the property with new decor and carpets and new garden furniture so hopefully this will modernise the feel of the house. I have passed your comments onto the cleaning team who will absolutely ensure those showers are given extra care when cleaning. We would love to welcome you back anytime. The place was welcoming and presentable. Size of the property suitable for large families. It was clean and tidy. The location to all attractions were close by as well as shops. Bridlington is a nice place to visit and a must to visit. Bridlington South Beach is an awesome place to visit. Highly recommended. Perfect location for a nice holiday break. The hot tub was a perfect feature and something to relax you during the holiday break. A place I would go back to if a holiday is planned for the northeast. Please note: Saffron Resturant Bridlington is a halal place to go to for food.

  • "The space of the property itself was excellent for our needs, all rooms and bedrooms were a great size."

And the location was great, close to the beach. Cleanliness of the rooms was good too. There were some issues with the showers in the first floor ensuits. The shower in the bedroom on the first floor at the back of the house was either scalding hot or freezing cold, which was my parent's room and they are in their 70's. We would love to come again and stay longer but not getting a hot shower puts us off unfortunately. The cooker did not work as 2 fuses had blown, but someone came out to us within the hour and fixed the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate it and guest feedback gives us a chance to make continual improvements to our properties. I'm sorry to hear that one of the showers was either too hot or too cold. I've asked the team to check all the showers and ensure that all are working correctly so I do hope this means we can welcome you back at some stage. Good to hear that the maintenance team replaced the cooker fuse within an hour! Delighted to hear that the bedrooms were all spacious enough and Bridlington Bay really is the perfect location for exploring the Bridlington and further afield. Property Owner

  • "Actually this holiday home is superb."

Everything perfect but only one day night fire alarmed beeped so many times. Apart from this everything perfect and well maintained. Looking forward to book in summer . Thank you

How wonderful for us to receive a 100/100 superb review! I'm so pleased you have a wonderful time and especially as you were staying over Christmas. Bridlington Bay is the perfect locution for exploring the East Coast. There was a intermitting fault on the alarm and even after it's been serviced actually no fault can be found so tricky to fix for the engineer....especially as it only happens once in a blue moon, that's why I am telling guests know the code to stop the beep...just in case it happens again! We'd love to welcome you back. Kindest Regards Julie Property Owner
