  • "The cottage was exactly as described in the listing."

    It was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a really pleasant stay. Handily located for the South Beach and the town, it meant the car didn't need to be used on every outing. We would highly recommend staying here.

  • "What a warm welcoming well equipped cottage this is with great off road parking on a quiet street right in the middle of Bridlington, a 2 minutes walk in any direction takes you to a multitude of pub's restaurant's shops and of course the beach, would highly recommend."

  • "We loved our stay, the house was comfortable, lovely and warm and well equipped."

    We took our two dogs and it was ideal for them with hard floors, an enclosed large yard and close proximity to the beech, which they loved. The only small criticisms were that the downstairs TV was not a smart TV and it would have been nice to have reading lamps in the bedroom. Thanks for a great stay

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Christlow, we were expecting a washer as it was in the picture but not description, we didn't need it anyway, the weather was fantastic for winter."

    We walk a lot the washer was just for those hikes where you're saturated. Had great walks as there are plenty without the need to jump in the car. The place was lovely & clean, comfortable bed, lots of towels, gorgeous large bathroom with piping hot water for a soak after a hike. The heating was spot on so hot turned it down or up depending on the temperature outside. The log fire was so cosy, so warm & starter logs, sticks, etc to start. We cooked a roast Duck& all the trimmings on NYD, the oven was great plenty of shelves & easy to use. Lots & lots of storage for walking boots, ruck sacks, coats etc. Upstairs again plenty of storage, thought gone into ladies who want to dry their hair a dressing table with a mirror & hairdryer if you didn't want to take your own, you'd be surprised if I told how many stays where I haven't been able to dry my hair as no plug point near or mirror, we take an extension cable for that reason but not needed at Christlow, we did say they've thought of everything. The sofa and cuddle chair, so comfortable, love a wooden floor, so hygienic, and the location was central for everything. Great value for money.

  • "Christlow is a lovely property with everything you need for a very relaxing and cosy stay."

    Very easy reach of Bridlington beaches , shops and restaurants and cafes. The property is in lovely condition with a very nice kitchen, lovely living and dining area with a nice large sofa and wonderful log fire. Nice size tv. Bedrooms are lovely with plenty of good storage space. Bathroom has a very nice shower and large roll top style bath. A visit to Flamborough head to see the large seal colony is only 20 mins away and well worth a visit. Our stay for Christmas was magical and very relaxing.

    Has everything you need for your stay. The log burner was perfect the snow day. Within easy walking distance to the beach and shops. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a perfect stay.

  • "A beautiful cottage with the bonus of off road parking right in the middle of Bridlington."

    Walk in any direction from the cottage and you have shops, restaurants,cafes, pubs and a fantastic beach and harbour,yet the street is so quiet. The cottage is spacious and clean and has been updated to a very high standard and is comfortable( I slept really well).Bridlington itself is so clean and well looked after. We will definitely be returning.

  • "Lovely place to stay, great location not far from the town."

    We booked this place as there was off street parking. Nicely decorated, with plenty of room. Shower could be a bit more powerful. Couple of nice cafe's nearby for breakfast. Plenty of places for evening meals if you dont want to cook. Just watch out for the grumpy old lady in a car, who was screaming at us to take the rubbish bin back in (even though the bin had not been emptied). We had no idea who she was, but if she's anything to do with the property she really needs to work on her customer service.

  • "Wonderful cottage in a perfect location."

    It had everything we needed. Easy to use appliances, large enclosed yard for the dog, 5 minutes from the supermarket and the harbour. Absolutely brilliant. It was a lovely cosy place and would definitely book it again

Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment.
