BEADLAM

Helmsley 2.5 miles; Pickering 10.6 miles; York 26.9 miles

The village offers a pub serving food and a local fish and chip shop. Nearby, about 3 miles away, is the prestigious market town of Helmsley, historically renowned for having its own 12th century castle. There is excellent walking on the doorstep with the national trail, Cleveland Way, starting in Helmsley, which has fabulous views of the coast and ancient stone crosses.
