  • "Owners very welcoming."

Cottage clean. Kitchen very well equipped. Unfortunately sofa uncomfortable to sit on and very low down. Bedroom very very hot. Couldn't sleep because of heat. Perhaps would benefit from a lighter duvet and a fan when hot weather. Dogs enjoyed garden but needed watching as big drop at one end of garden (might be OK for big dogs) and also owners didn't want dogs cleaning themselves in garden. Cottage sits on busy road. Possibly would return if some of the above issues were addressed.

Thankyou Diane for your feedback. We are always interested in comments from guests , it helps us to improve in any way we can. I think it was a very warm spell when you were here . We do have a fan and an extra portable radiator for guests who need extra warmth or are too warm . They are kept in the bedroom cupboards along with alternative bedding if the quilt is too warm . I supply a sheet and a bed throw as a cooler option for the bed . Sorry I didn’t make this clear for you . It can be quite warm in the bedroom if the sun blind is left up. I’m not too sure about not wanting pets to clean themselves in the garden , probably this is regarding dogs having a poo on the lawn. Yes we do prefer this to be undertaken if possible on the lane at the back , but we’re not over strict on this . We just have to be considerate towards our none pet guests too. I hope this didn’t disrupt your routine too much . I must admit I also find the sofa fairly low , I’m assuming you mean the one in the lounge not in the bedroom…… we actually have recently had another one delivered but it was so uncomfortable we had to send it back , so it is work in progress . Thankyou once again for choosing us for your vacation. We would love to see you again if you are in our area . 28.4.2024 we have taken delivery of a super new sofa Property Owner

Thankyou for your feedback Caroline . Lovely comments Thankyou . So glad you enjoyed our property and the area to explore . As you may have read in a previous comment .. we did have a replacement settee delivered but it was so uncomfortable we had to send it back. I hope this didn’t spoil your holiday. • "This is a really good perfect holiday cottage if you want a home from home."

It's very well equipped with everything you need from home entertainment with numerous paid TV channels, a selection of games, cards and puzzles and a kitchen that's stocked enough to prepare a family Christmas dinner! (Even though you wouldn't fit them in!) We stayed with our dog and it's a just right to access the local beaches and resorts. If you want a relaxing break close to the coast but away from the hustle and bustle then you won't go wrong. Finally the local pub provides fantastic food, it's dog friendly and they have doggy dinners which at £5 keeps the pooches very happy.

Good walks from the cottage. Well organised COVID-19 safe arrangements and well organised recycling facilities. Pub across the road (Foxhounds) seem to have COVID-19 arrangements sorted whether you go for takeaway fish and chips or eat in. Lightning fast broadband (first time I have ever stayed in a cottage where the broadband is faster than at home!) I, personally, would prefer a dishwasher to a washing machine but know others would prefer the washing machine. Parking is a bit challenging, best to back down the drive and into the parking space.
