Bed a bit uncomfortable But ok for a week every other thing brilliant Only one thing smoke detector kept going off May need a new battery

Accommodation very nicely decorated and finished to a high standard.

Issues with the TV having no sound for two days out of three!! Also, lights in the 'utility passage' (Fridge and freezer) not working. Smoke alarm kept beeping, even after the landlord had, allegedly, changed the back-up battery (took battery out in the end!) Pet friendly OK unless it was a dog that needed to go out in the night. Walk the streets of Filey in pyjamas! Dog friendly needs at least a yard for dog to pee. Description of property accurate but needed more careful reading i.e. very difficult parking, no outside area for dog!

Check detector in living area as it beeped several times on at least two occasions.

Would be helpful if information folder was out on display for people to read. Flat location was ideal for all amenities.

A well appointed accommodation, although the local area is a little run down.

The apartment is ideal for the town centre, with an excellent Italian restaurant and pub within a few minutes walk. The main problem with the accommodation was a continuous smell of damp. There is little if any ventilation in the bedroom, due to the location, windows cannot be left open when the property is not occupied. Whether a humidifier may solve some of the problem, I am not sure.

Tiolet was a struggle due to me having stroke and time should have been 2 o'clock to been in and 10 o clock to be out we went home early on the Thursday

very nice ground floor apartment very close to all amenities on the road parking abet of an issue at times but a small carpark only 200 metres away which we always found a space would definitely book again

Everything we needed. Very comfortable, convenient and just right for 2 people and a little dog. Parking unfortunately would definitely be a pain if in high season. We were really lucky and were able to park outside the property whilst there as we only stopped in Filey. A very enjoyable stay.

2nd stay here ideal for town and beach.

Lovely cottage, husband in a wheelchair and could get in and out easily,quite to say it was next to a pub.

lovely fish shop just up the street.didn't need to use the car everything in walking distance ,even train station. We booked for a week but unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because husband not very well

Just had another lovely stay at Sea Glass - just as pristine and spotlessly clean as ever, it never disappoints!

And not a hint of the damp smell as mentioned in the reviews below, none whatsoever, and it's so quiet inside considering all the noisy seagulls outside! Will book again soon, D.

Loved the flat, very central for everything.

There was a bad damp smell every time you entered front door, not so noticeable once you were in, but a lot of air fresheners in the house so I surmise they know there is a problem. Very comfortable flat with all facilities required. Although we had an enjoyable stay we wouldn't rent accommodation without parking again as it was a nightmare trying to find a parking space and ended up just parking up and getting buses.

Stayed here for a week, lovely flat in the centre of Filey.

Close to beach, shops, pubs, restaurants etc. No parking at the property, and on street parking difficult, so couldn't get parked nearby. Not an issue for us as we didn't use the car much during the week. Train and bus station close by. The flat was nicely decorated, however there was a strong smell of damp when we first entered, which wasn't great. One night we came back to find a large slug in the bathroom! Also as other reviews have said, the sofa in the living is tiny and uncomfortable, not big enough for 2 people to relax in. All in all, a good place but could use one or 2 improvements.

Very bright and clean apartment but in a run down area and no outside space.

Parking very limited so didn't move my car during whole stay which was a bit restricting.

This was my second stay at Seaglass and it was just as lovely as the first.

Amazingly quiet for such a central location and so close to the beach.

Just spent a week here over christmas and had a brilliant holiday, place was spotless and very comfy and warm, sofa was a bit hard but it was a sofa settee so you expect that from them, other than that there was nothing we could fault, had all the pots, pans and utensils you needed for a full christmas dinner.

Even had a bottle or bubbly, mince pies and a christmas card from the owners as a welcome gift, very nice touch. very fast wifi and freeview box were a bonus as well. Our Dobbie loved the place she could sleep on her bed in the front room and still be able to see us in the bedroom so she was relaxed and not anxies as to where we were. The place is in a fantastic location, right next to an italian, pub and chinesse and 1 min walk to all the shops. almsot all the places were dog friendly as well. Parking was not too bad, always managed to get in a spot within 100 yards from the property after days out. All in all a very nice clean, tidy and cosy stay and will be booking again in the future.

Attractively decorated and well equipped. Very comfortable bed with no noise from neighbours or passing traffic to disturb a good night's sleep. Already planning a return visit.

Great location, handy for beach, shops, restaurants, bus and railway station.

All within 10mins walk. Modern airy ground floor flat, with all mod cons and plenty of kitchen equipment, towels and other bits and pieces, eg bottle opener, torch and even dog bowls!. Netflfix and Freeview access easy to use. .....Downside , had to park 4 streets away as no space near at all. Over the 3 days as soon as space free , another car shot into it. Also no private outdoor space , and front door onto main street so if you have a dog its a constant "leashing up" for walkies!.....Also pleeaase change the uncomfortable bed settee in lounge , its not the best, sorry. ....All in all though , location ,price and facilities would make us visit again.

Great location and easy to find, love that it's dog friendly, ideal for visiting all attractions, good public transport links locally, very welcoming and modern, good price, very well equipped with everything you need.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay, our only small grumble for us was the sofa was very creaky and uncomfortable after a long day of walking and exploring, would be nice to be able to put your feet up. And the 9am departure was a little too early for us due to having to rely on family driving over 2 hours to collect us. We would however happily stay again and also recommend.

Lovely little apartment with everything you need inside and outside the property, shop, pubs, beach all within seconds/minutes walking distance, my one and only negative bit of feedback would be that the sofa in the lounge wasn’t all that comfortable for two people to relax on after a long walk towards the end of a day… one of us was relaxed on the sofa while the other was bolt up right on the Chesterfield style chair… perhaps a pouffe or something to put your feet up on could rectify this, however I appreciate the lack of space.

Thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Sea Glass Cottage would definitely book it again.

Sea Glass is a fabulous place to stay!

Excellent location and there is everything you could possibly need inside, plus it is furnished to a high standard, very tastefully, and really feels like a holiday escape with all the nautical/seaside touches. It's very quiet insde as well which is a bonus with the very early morning seagulls in Filey over the summer months! The hosts are also fantastic which makes a difference too, and we'll definitely be booking in again, it was perfect for what we were looking for.

Beautiful location & beautiful accommodation.

Minor thing for us was how uncomfy & noisy the sofa was, it was hard to relax & unwind before going to bed after a long day exploring the coat. Other than that it was just perfect & we would definitely stay again.

Everything was as stated.

The little extras meant alot like coffee sachets and pkts of biscuits.The cleanliness was exemplary. The only thing we thought was an issue was lack of parking to the facility.
