Gough Bank

Lovely cosy two bedroomed house situated in a very quiet area in Flamborough.

Clean and tidy with private parking and an enclosed paved area at the back, very safe for pets. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. The house is close to pubs, fish and chip shop and a Co-op. There is a large green area nearby to walk doggies. It’s about a 30-40 mins walk to the cliffs and beach at North Landing.

4 of us spent 3 nights in Gough Bank.

Lovely property everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Spotlessly clean throughout. Location perfect right in the middle of the village. Definitely recommend

A little gem of a house in the heart of Flamborough village.

Peaceful, with off-road parking. The property was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Someone had mentioned the bed was uncomfortable. That was not our experience. We found the bed very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This is the best cottage we have stayed in.

There is plenty of room even with a large bouncy dog. There is a patio area to the back and private parking to the front. All lovely decorated for our Christmas break and treats left for us by the host.

The property was clean and well maintained with everything you needed for your stay. Ideally located and with parking as well which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this property and we would stay here if visiting the area again.

This was our 6th stay at gough bank, always lovely, comfortable and clean.

We found a real gem with this one, perfect place to stay in Flamborough wouldn't stay anywhere else. Great location , good local shops. Looking forward to booking our next visit. There is absolutely nothing not to love.

Great little house, well furnished, lovely clean carpets, usefully prepared kitchen, 2 loos, utility room with washer, Netflix included, clean and comfy beds. Lovely convenient location with a park and green nearby for kids, pubs, 25 min walk to a beach/coast walk. Parking, blinds and curtains, books, DVD, games! Such thoughtful hosts! We don't tend to holiday in the same place twice but would absolutely come back here for convenience and comfort.

Quiet,cosy,warm,perfect for myself and my dog as it has enclosed garden and central for all our favourite walks along the coast and beach. Safe parking,lovely neighbours,unfortunately had to come home......but we'll be back.Also had choccies,wine and even doggie treats on arrival!

We have just had a lovely 2 weeks at Gough Bank.

The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Being situated in the heart of Flamborough there were pubs that served lovely home cooked food, 2 cafes and 2 fish and chip shops. Ideal for anyone who doesn't want to cook. Plenty of places to visit nearby and North and South Lounding beaches both 1 mile from Flamborough so can walk to them. We would highly recommend this property and definitely somewhere we will stay again. Thank you to the owners for providing such lovely accommodation and thank you for the welcome wine and chocolates.

Great location, for shops pubs etc.

It’s about 20/30 mins steady walk to the coast. The property was comfortable with everything you need. The tv signal was a problem at times but Netflix made up. Enjoyed some lovely cliff walks. Lucky we had the best weather.

This cottage had absolutely everything we needed for our stay.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. In our opinion it was perfect for us and our dog.

Nice clean pleasant cottage been 2 times have booked for next year everything you need near to all facilities quite and private only issue could do with a smart TV in small bedroom as when going with young family they need Netflix

Parking is excellent right outside the house, we just park up never move the car, everything is so handy shops, pubs, exelent walks from the doorstep. Owners lovely thoughtful people, Mandy& Chris always leave a welcome pack of wine, chocolates, tea coffee and sugar. Highly recommend. Thank-you.

A lovely clean well equipped cottage in an ideal location with walks along the coastal paths and through the nearby nature reserve.

We all had a great time very homely and had everything you needed in the cottage.

Very thoughtful of the hosts with the welcome tray Bottle of wine and box of chocolate which went down a treat will be going back .

The cottage was very comfortable it was like being in your own home, everything was catered for.

There was parking straight outside the front door and an enclosed garden at the back ideal for the dog. There was a bottle of wine, a tub of chocolates left for us and treats left for the dog on arrival.

The only problem but then again not massive the parking enter and leave ie the Peugeot then again it might be a bit of stubborness other wise excellent and we are already talking and looking other dates this year

Our first holiday with our granddaughter and the cottage couldn’t have been more perfect.

Centrally located and equipped with everything we needed to make a successful holiday and the toy box with the Barbie dolls in was the icing on the cake for my granddaughter. We will definitely book again. Thanks.

Lovely cottage clean and tidy was stain on bedding of double bed but no big deal TV signal is bad had to retune TV all the time upstairs and downstairs could do with free satalite to stop this .

The enclosed garden was such a bonus with our little dog. Kitchen utensils meant for non stick pans would have been nice. Car parking was a big help.

The property was very clean and comfortable with a good kitchen facility and enough equipment etc for us to enjoy a pleasant stay. All in all - would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to be nearby to amenities (pubs, shops etc) but also close to established walking routes with great walks to Bridlington and Flamborough Head.

This property is a gem we have just had a great holiday at Gough bank, It is in the perfect spot for basically every thing Flamborough has to offer.

The rear garden is secure for your fur babies plenty of parking space. The welcome gift was very much appreciated , This property is very well maintained & has everything you require to have a great stay. Would I recommend Gough bank / Would I stay again well Yes in a heartbeat & I hope to return at some point

Situated in a quiet spot and having a parking space was great. Park around the corner was really handy for a quick walk with the dog though there are amazing walks from the doorstep. The property was in good repair, clean and comfortable with everything needed for a home from home stay. Chocolates, a bottle of wine and doggy treats was a kind touch. The garden is really secure and benefits from a good amount of sun most of the day. Definitely a place I’ll keep in my ‘go back’ to list.

Lovely house, good large kitchen, nice lounge, 1 large bedroom, other is small twin, car parking.

Fully enclosed garden, safe for dogs. Sofas very uncomfortable due to large pieces of hardwood under cushions ? Beds also very hard and double slopes away at edges. They all need replacing I'm afraid.

Peaceful but yet all the amenities around you. Easy access to Bridlington on the super bus service and the walks are great around the area. Would highly recommend and will be going back again!

Great property in an ideal location in the centre of Flamborough.

Lovely welcome pack of the wine and chocolates, plus doggy treats. Good dog friendly pubs within a five minute walk and enjoyed a couple of meals at The Ship Inn. Also Good fish and chips nearby. Fantastic large field only 2 minutes away for exercising dog. A bonus in the property being the downstairs loo. Would definitely recommend the property.

A lovely comfortable, spotless cottage in a quiet position.

Just around the corner to all shops including Co-op, pubs, butchers and green grocers. A stunning part of the world, North Landing, South Landing and the Lighthouse all well worth a visit. Would highly recommend this property, owners happy to resolve any problems.

Gough Bank was perfect for us, clean comfortable and in the centre of the village.

There is ample parklng outside the cottage, which is a bonus. A lovely welcome pack on arrival, plus treats for Jack the dog. We will be staying there again.

Central location for easy access to all that Flamborough offers.

Cottage and location were perfect.

Cottage was clean and comfy with extras that we don't usually find eg. A TV in both bedrooms, wonderful, a fan, a a slow cooker a grill, a non slip bathmat . The property is listed as having 'uninterrupted views of the countryside' from the bedroom. This is not true, the view is of houses. My husband, who is disabled, took his telescope so that he could look for wildlife, he was very disappointed. Otherwise, really good and do want to re visit.

The cottage is in a prime location with a lovely enclosed garden , very quiet good pubs in walking distance and some great walks in and around flambrough , Bridlington, Scarborough , Filey, Whitby all within range for a day trip out .

We will be booking this cottage again in the future.

So clean, homely and comfortable, everything you could want. The location is great too, for exploring the Yorkshire coast.

The heating system was easy to manage. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have a tv in the bedrooms as well as access to Netflix. The location is great with amazing coastal walks on offer. There is also local shops with ample supples. The weather was not warm enough to spend time in the back enclosed space , but is a pleasant area.

Everything about our holiday was perfect and just how we imagined it to be.

We needed a nice homely place to stay for our relaxing week away and this cottage did just that for us. Lovely walks close by and plenty to see and do. Our dog loved his first holiday especially trips to the beach! We didn't manage to get out to eat but we tried scrumdidiliumptious' afternoon tea boxes and the chip shop which were very good! We would highly recommend this cottage and Flamborough as a place to stay in general. Being close to Bridlington and Filey gave us more options to venture out too if we wanted. Thank you to the owners of Gough Bank who made our stay extra special with the little welcome gift for both ourselves and our pooch. They were all very much appreciated!

We recently spent a lovely week at Gough cottage, everything was spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable and very reasonably priced .

It is in a great quiet position, very close to all the amenities. There were some nice touches that helped us feel at home right from the start. There are plenty of walks and places to explore close by. I would definitely recommend Gough cottage and are already planning a return stay next year.

Everything we needed to have a comfy and spacious stay in Gough Bank. The house is perfectly situated for all amenities, pubs and restaurants. Its great as a start point for some amazing walks and once back in the village, a choice of places for a refreshing pint and a bite to eat. It was made extra special that we could take our dog with us and the owners even left some treats for him

It was lovely and clean and we couldn’t fault it. It was great for us as there are lots of different walks for us and our dog Megan with lots of places to visit nearby. Just the break we needed at the ideal spot.

The cottage was in a nice quiet location, within a short driving distance to other coastal towns. The cottage was lovely and clean, well equipped, pet friendly and a nice welcome pack for both us and our dog! These were very nice touches. Looking forward to booking again for next year

it is also situated very close to the village with a fantastic butchers.there are 3 pubs within 75 yards would recommend the ship inn for food. The enclosed back garden of the cottage is very quiet and perfect to sit and relax.my partner and i loved it as did oscar our whippet we will definitely stop again.

We have stayed in Flamborough before but the accommodation was not of the high standard of Gough Bank cottage!

Gough Bank was very well equipped, extremely clean and very quiet. It was lovely to have the space at the back of the property to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun also and if the weather was not too good there was plenty of books, children's games etc to keep them occupied. Our 9 year old Granddaughter thought it was marvellous our 7 year old dog enjoyed his stay as well especially with the dog treats that had been left for him

The location surprised us by being more impressive than we had hoped.

Peaceful, great wildlife puffins and other cliff loving birds, seals basking and a very pleasant backdrop of beautiful countryside and coves. Sitting on the beach and on the cliff tops enjoying the views. Very relaxing holiday.

Lovely comfortable stay for my birthday.

Only 2 criticisms are that was woken up early every day by the builders outside banging and the shower head needs replacing

Gough Bank was just like a Home from Home.

Lots of advice and help at hand in booklets. Lovely welcoming Tea and Coffee and biscuits and wine. Key lock was handy as we didn't arrive till late on Saturday. Lovely location, particularly Flamborough Head and North Landing and a lovely Coastline. Spent a while looking for Accommodation near my daughter who lives in near by Bridlington, and Gough Bank ticked all the boxes. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the near future

Its the little things that count and the owners nailed it (tea coffe etc) keep it up will return
