"Runswick house was amazing, perfect for the 6 of us with plenty of space for us all."
The kids loved the large garden and I loved the large kitchen and table. We all really enjoyed the homemade cake when we arrived and a much needed cuppa with the milk, tea and coffee provided. Thank you for a brilliant holiday

"Thankyou for a lovely relaxing holiday."
The cottage is set in a small Idyllic Village, with walks from the doorstep. We were welcomed with a hamper, tea/coffee/cookies & jam & home made cakes, and milk in fridge, very nice following our journey. The owner Sally came round to check everything was ok. The cottage is so well equipped, comforts of dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. It is an amazing size, and mostly suitable for disabilities The garden is beautiful, quiet, secluded, with a summerhouse, a lovely space for relaxation. There is lots to do in the area, Steam Train from Pickering just a few minutes in the car . My husband was pleased he could use his bus pass to visit Mathewson's in Thornton-le-Dale. Lots of nice places to eat & drink, also pick your own fruit /shop/café in the village. There is a Fish & Chip van visits the village on a Friday evening, quite a unique experience, also local honey & eggs for sale in the village.

"We had a fantastic time in this beautifully kept house."
Everything you need is there. We all loved the spacious garden including our old dog. Very handy to have the washing machine, dryer and line. Also a second fridge. All in excellent condition.
Really friendly attentive owners and such a nice touch to find a delicious homemade cake on arrival with a hamper of goodies.
Sinnington is a peaceful village but you are not far away from plenty to see and do. Very scenic on the Moors.
We would definitely love to come back!

"The home owner was lovely, she visited on the first day and was contactable should we had any problems or questions."
The house was absolutely beautiful and warm, every need was catered for, the pots, pans, ovenware, china, cutlery, towels, bedding etc was all of a good quality and plenty of it. It's in a lovely location, central to many places of interest and lots of stunning countryside on the way. There is a Lidl not far away and very nice small shops within a 15 minute drive. The house location is very quiet. It is ideal for two families, one housed upstairs and one down. The beds were very comfortable as were the sofas and chairs. It was so nice to have use of a washing machine and a outside washing line (and pegs). We will definitely visit again, a week wasn't enough!

"Just back from our weeks holiday."
When we arrived we found a lovely homemade cake and a hamper with tea/coffee/biscuits and jam and milk in the fridge left by the owner Sally who popped round a couple of hours after we arrived to introduce herself and to make sure everything was ok.
The cottage is lovely Its a good size perfect for dad as he had room to move around using his rollator with a lovely lounge and a kitchen/diner with plenty of pots etc also has 2 bedrooms downstairs and the bathroom with large walk in shower with plenty of space for my dad's shower chair (we took ours) , upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms and a shower room i would say if you like large towels (bath sheet) take some as the towels provided are bath towels.
The cottage is in a quiet little village about 5mins to the nearest Co op in Kirbymoorside and about 10mins away from Pickering and around 30-40 min to the coast. The village pub is very quaint, nice for a drink but the food was a quite expensive (we didn't eat there) .
We all had a lovely time and will hopefully return soon .

Central to travel out to Whitby, Scarbourgh, York and close to Pickering and many other little places. Great places to eat in the area, never had a bad meal through out the week. House was very spacious, but was also very homely. A welcome hamper with tea, coffee, sugar, jam and biscuits and a visit from the owner with a cake which was such a lovely thought. Great place and an area which still remains un spoilt. Hope to return soon.

Within 10 minutes of arriving she came to the house to welcome us and brought a lovely home baked sponge cake. She also left a hamper in the house with some luxury goodies!! Sally was always available and even provided 8 discount vouchers for the N York Moors Railway which saved us £40.00. The house was brilliant and very well laid out and accommodated 8 of us in real comfort. The garden was beautiful and loved by our dog. This was the best property we have rented in the UK!! Thanks
