  • "Second time we have been here."

Excellent location. Well equipped and serviced very clean and tidy on arrival. Could do with some information on how to work the tv. Really enjoyed our stay. Lots to see and do in the area.

  • "Fab stay at Angel By The Sea, had everything that we needed, great location for the beach and a show at Bridlington spa."

Was very comfy and well looked after… only super critical note was that towel holder in the bathroom had come loose from the wall and I don’t think previous visitors had said so not given you a chance to fix it… otherwise perfect!

  • "Seating very uncomfortable and too low."

Very difficult for people with impaired leg movement. TV has a bad picture and really should have Sky these days as we gave up on finding anything to watch. Kitchen floor covering has ridden up and can easily be tripped over. Dining chairs heavy and difficult to manouvre. We found the beds very hard and cause aches and pains as the week progresses. Our advice...don't use Ikea...looks good but is awful to use. Despite loads of people complaining about the holiday manual, covering such things as tv operation, recycling etc, it is still far below the standard found in other properties. Very spacious and pleasant feeling flat but spoiled by the furniture.

  • "Very pleased with the accommodation."

Ideal position so close to the sea and town centre. Enjoyed visiting various places in the area especially Flamborough The booking procedure was efficient and the member of staff was very helpful. Didn’t get the information about how to leave the flat until we got home. It would be a good idea to put this information in the folder in the flat..

The quality of this accommodation far exceeded any expectations I had before we arrived. Outstanding holiday from start to finish in a perfectly situated area. Wonderful experience.

  • "At first sight, the apartment looked very clean and inviting."

However, take a closer look like under the beds and you will find that not to be the case, remove the cushions from the settee to find crumbs and debris. All the pan lids were missing, no potato peeler, and a shortage of teaspoons. There were no cleaning facilities, not even a pan and brush. I would expect it reasonable that the owner would supply a couple of bin liners but no so. Finally, there were soap dispensers in the toilet and bathroom which were empty. I did not expect that I would need to purchase essentials on arrival at the property. I understand that due to Covid and the high demand for holiday rentals owners see it as an opportunity to increase their prices but I do expect by doing the same they need to be on the ball.

  • "Fantastic apartment, would definitely return."

Large and spacious, so close to the sea front. Liked the fact it had a separate toilet although it was very close to the sink. A tall or large person might have problems. Bathroom lights didn't bother us, found them amusing

  • "I stayed in Angel by the Sea for work purposes for several weeks and it was ideal for what I needed."

Modern minimalist decoration with good heating and lovely shower. Some weeks cleaning materials were provided and some not, so I had to contact owner who kindly dropped cloths etc. round within 24 hours. A dishwasher would be been an added bonus.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay here."

Yes the disco lights in the bathroom took a bit of getting the hang of, but our 8 year old loved them. Flat was lovely and clean, had everything we needed and location was great for access to the lovely clean, sandy beach.

  • "Really good position."

Very warm and cosy. Great shower, but despite several mentions in the visitors book, re slippery shower, no rubber mat was provided. We went straight out and bought one. Like other guests we found the sofas really low and hard to get up from. In spite of that we had a good holiday there and would return.

  • "Nothing serious, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location, cleanliness, comfy beds etc."

But the sofa(s) were very uncomfortable and the smaller one seemed unnecessary and made the living area cluttered. Also, a sweeping brush and mop/bucket would be handy for spills etc. The bathroom lights were annoying but we can see how some people (especially with kids) would enjoy them. Otherwise excellent, will book again when the need arises.

  • "The apartment was lovely!"

Excellent location as we were in Bridlington for the darts at the Spa (3 minute walk) The parking space was greatly appreciation as parking around that area is normally a nightmare. The Lights in the bathroom and bluetooth mirror for music was fab! We also had the pleasure of meeting a lovely lady in the apartment downstairs who was super helpful and even sent us home with some pears from her tree. The beach was at the end of the road. Thank you for a perfect stay and we will definitely be returning next year :)

  • "The apartment was clean with eveŕything new and from Ikea."

The location is great with a 10 min walk to town and the beach and sea at the end of the street. We found the furniture, although new, very uncomfortable , low and more like patio loungers. The toilet is compact and the sink is in your face when using it. The walk in shower has a gap of 14" and if portly like myself has to be squeezed through sideways, the disco lighting in the bathroom was really annoying having to constantly switching it to white using the remote. Other than that everything else was fine, but after 2 weeks I was glad to get home.
